Award-winning Salt Lake City Tribune cartoonist Pat Bagley has become a big hit with BuzzFlash readers. His "Clueless George Goes to War" pin has repeatedly sold out on the Buzz.

This follow-up pin by Bagley, also author of the delightful cartoon book "Clueless George Goes to War", depicts a reactionary legislator who proves that some humans have not yet evolved beyond the chimp stage. The monkey's tail on the "Intelligently
Designed Legislator" reminds us that while evolution is just a theory to some, many fundamentalist elected officials are actually living proof of the lower rungs of the evolutionary ladder.

Heck, just take a look at George W. Bush, the Chimp-in-Chief. Although, we must admit, those $1500 suits he wears conceal his tail well. But maybe that's what was taped onto his back during the debates! After all, our Chimp-in-Chief would never wear a hi-frequency receiver so that he could be fed answers to questions through an earpiece. Perish the thought!

No, that lump on his back must have been his tail being held down with unused duct tape left over from the Homeland Security Department.

Like the "Clueless George" pin, the new "Evolution is Just a Theory" pin (1 1/4 X 7/8 inches) is high quality, with a glossy enamel surface. Durable, colorful, this is the perfect "evolutionary" fashion statement.

It's droll, ironic and, of course, waggish.
