Fun flash card game for the political junkie: "Who was the oldest man ever elected president? Which election is considered the closest in U.S. history? Which president set aside a chair at cabinet meetings for his dog? 600 quiz cards pose questions and give answers and fun facts on U.S. presidents and how they got elected. Cards are separated into three levels of difficulty (indicated by color) and come in a sturdy box for easy storage and transport."

Some sample questions:

Question: What future president appeared on the cover of Cosmopolitan in 1942?
Answer: Gerald Ford.
Fact: Ford worked as a model to supplement his income.

Question: In 1978, President Jimmy Carter appointed which future First Lady to the board of the Legal Services Corporation?
Answer: Hillary Rodham Clinton
Fact: Clinton attended Yale Law School where she met her future husband, and president, Bill Clinton.

Question: What Republican senator from Arizona was born in the Panama Canal Zone in 1936?
Answer: John McCain
Fact: McCain, a self-described “Goldwater Republican” who ran for president in 2000, spent five years in captivity as a POW in Vietnam.

The 600 cards are divided into basic, intermediate and advanced categories.

The advanced cards are pretty tough in the trivia category:

For instance, "The elephant was first used as a symbol of the Republican Party to support which presidential candidate?"

Answer: Abraham Lincoln. (Addditional information is included on the back of the card.)

and

"Which president gave the longest inaugural address?"

Answer: William Henry Harrison.

The back of the cards usually include interesting information, like who came up with the idea of using the elephant as the Republican logo.
