In fact, the only way that the recent energy bill got passed and signed by Bush was because the Democrats agreed to remove increased taxes on the billions and billions of dollars in oil company windfall profits.
Heck, the oil companies should be paying for the War in Iraq, and the one Cheney wants to conduct for the Persian oil fields. Why should we get stuck with the bill?
After all, we get stuck with the bill at the gas pump, right?
