"The new "Royal Flush: Impeach Bush Now" playing cards, which cite 54 reasons
to impeach George Bush, have been distributed to Democratic members of
the U.S. Congress by creator Jerry Vasilatos. With a 75 percent disapproval rating and millions of Americans demanding the impeachment of Bush and Cheney,
it was only a matter of time until someone took the Pentagon's "Most Wanted"
card concept and turned it on the administration itself.

Filmmaker and political satirist Jerry Vasilatos recently distributed his new "Royal Flush: Impeach Bush Now" playing cards, citing 54 reasons to impeach George Bush, to every Democratic member of the U.S. Congress. Using the example set forth by the Pentagon in their "Iraqi Deck of Death," which was distributed to troops at the beginning of the war and meant to assist them in identifying Iraqi war criminals, Vasilatos has chosen 54 of the most egregious misdeeds of the Bush administration and assigned each one to a card, ranging from the mishandling of Hurricane Katrina, to issues of civil liberty abuse, torture, and the War in Iraq.
"It's astounding that this administration could willingly engage in so many high crimes and misdemeanors," he says. "After seeing how successful my previous playing cards were, including the 'The Deck of Republican Chickenhawks' (which identified pro-war Republicans who avoided armed service) and 'House of Cards: Deck of Bush' (which listed reasons not to re-elect George Bush prior to the '04 election), it made sense compiling a final deck. The 'Impeach Bush Now' cards list everything President George Bush has done to betray our country's ideals and provides a handy reference from which people can demand accountability. It makes a great companion piece to pocket Constitutions," he adds wryly.
