We discovered Light of Day Organics Fair Trade loose tea at the Green Festival in Chicago last spring and were delighted that they were willing to create a special blend of tea -- with and without caffeine for us.
We sampled several of their teas and were wowed by the variations they blended for us.
For those of you who associate peppermint with calming tisanes (herbal teas), you will not be prepared for the sensational taste of peppermint and chocolate when mixed with an assam black tea.

We expect that you�ll be as pleased by this sassy tea that redefines peppermint as our staff was.
One of our staff members has a son who introduced us to rooibos teas and their fabulous antioxidant calming qualities a few years ago. However, we had never tried a rooibos with vanilla. Even our non-tea drinking staff members loved this decaffeinated tea blend.
The Buzz Black Tea contains 1.5 ounces of tea which will make 22 � 32 cups of tea, depending on taste. One teaspoon of loose tea makes a cup of tea. We like steeping it for five minutes. If you like a really strong tea, steep it for a longer period.
The Buzz Rooibos contains 2.0 ounces of tea which will make 30 � 50 cups of tea, depending on taste.
Light of Day Organics, LLC only produces products made with 100% certified organic ingredients, and all of their tea leaves are Fair Trade certified.
All ingredients are certified organic by Stellar. Trans Fair is the certifying agent for their Fair Trade teas.

Our products are grown, harvested, dried, and packaged in a licensed facility here in Leelanau County. We blend all of our private recipe teas in small batches to promote consistency and maximize freshness.
