We're currently selling Ethically Engineered's beer soap and we recently tried their 6 oz. Gear Head Organic Shampoo Bar as a soap and a shampoo and really liked it. It works equally well for men and women.

I usually use volumizing products on my hair after shampooing, but I decided to try the Gear Head all by itself and see what happened. It was great. I realized that when travelling especially, I wouldn't need to worry about how to bring miniscule amounts of shampoo and other hair products in order to be a "carry on" air traveler. One bar of Gear Head Shampoo would serve multi purposes.

You do want to keep the bar dry to make it last longer so we hang it from our shower rod with a lanyard we had around the house. The hole in the middle of the bar makes for easy hanging with string, twine, a shoelace or anything else you have around the house that you'd like to recycle.

This soap is vegan, no animal testing, all natural and manufactured by solar energy.

Looking over the options in my local shampoo aisle, I was always disappointed to find mountains of dirty petroleum packaging wrapping the clean suds. Hmmm, there's got to be a better way. I was even more disappointed to see the studies linking shampoo foaming agents found in most supermarkets to river pollution and sex regression in fish. Hmmm, there's got to be a better way. Inspiration led me to hunker down and develop a saponified natural sudsy shampoo bar that requires no plastic packaging and swirls natural, organic suds down your drain and into the nurturing bio-sphere.

Our good friend lime combines with lemon in this soap for a smell that is as invigorating and delicious as a zero emission bike ride. I love to make this shampoo bar soap because it never fails to cheer me up. The delicious smell fills the whole room and has a balancing effect on the emotions. Even better I like how it fits in my hand and kick starts my day with its rich and warm citrus lather. Kick it in gear.
