Why should anyone feel guilty or wimpy about promoting peace?

Bush, Cheney, Rice and the gang promote war. They want to marginalize promoters of peace as "appeasers."

Of course, peace doesn't provide hundreds of billions of dollars in profit to the military-industrial complex that Eisenhower warned us against. Peace would not be profitable enough to the Republican corporate supporters.

The slogan of the GOP should be, "We can't afford peace. It doesn't line the pockets of our campaign contributors."

Peace.

It shouldn't be a dream. It shouldn't be considered naive.

It should be our goal and our Northern Star.
