"Why Mommy is a Democrat" is a short book for very young children, but it gets its point across in an endearing, embracing story. How can you argue with a page that declares, "Democrats make sure everyone is treated fairly, just like Mommy Does," or, "Democrats make sure sick people are able to see a doctor, just like Mommy does"?

It's "Christopher Robin"-like illustrations make for the ideal traditional children's nighttime tale.

It's great for reading to your children or as a gift to nieces, nephews, cousins or friends with young kids. Just make sure that they are Democrats. Republicans will surely regard such concepts as "Democrats make sure everyone plays by the rules, just like Mommy does" as subversive.

And clearly, the statement, "Democrats make sure we all share our toys, just like Mommy does," will get Zilber branded by Sean Hannity as a "Pinko."

You know, right wingers are really such bitter people -- and selfish to boot.
