Will Ferrell nails the essence of the comic truth that is behind the tragedy of George W. Bush. This Broadway show, recorded by HBO, was nominated for a Tony Award and rightfully show. It's a one man tour de force.

"I don't think there is any middle ground on "Will Ferrell: You're Welcome, America. A Final Night with George W. Bush." If you are Republican or were a Bush supporter, you will probably hate this show, perhaps even finding it offensive as Ferrell does not hold back in the least. If you are like me instead, wherein you hated W from day #1 of his presidency and thought every act he did as President was unexplainable lunacy, then you will love it. The highlight for me is the part which is potentially the most offensive, a sexual come on and bump and grind between W and Condeleza Rice. Ferrell has been honing his W act to perfection for years and by now he has every nuance of W's movements and voice down. He looks like him, sounds like him, and pretty much is him "en flagrante" for an entire HBO special. This recreates Ferrell's Broadway show on W which was a huge success. For those of us who never had a chance to get to Broadway for it, HBO brings it to us."
