Shirley Smith: Slow Down for the Curves and the Barricades,Too

Yes, I remember all about Florida, and was angry and appalled by the constant rush to get everything over with, and couldn't believe that people didn't realize why Bush and his paid invaders kept spouting away to just get it over. Pounding fists, yelling, smiling and smirking, of course, at that time, we thought they were GOP citizens of Florida, but they actually were bused or flown into Florida by Bush and his cabal.

But, any election, and especially an election of the highest single official in this country, who will occupy the oval office in the White House for four years, and appoint hundreds to offices around the country, and whose decisions will affect all American lives for, not days to come, but years to come ... and, as we now know, also determines life or death, mainly the deaths of tens of thousands of unarmed, innocent individuals, and our own military ... men, women, and especially children ... any such election should take all the time needed, and if there is fraud found ... throw it out and do it all over again with paper ballots, with guards appropriately positioned, such as the League of Women Voters, a nonpartisan group, especially a group not appointed by the Bush GOP machine. A nation in limbo will not suffer as one in seizure. We now have the proof of that.

In other words, if the count, recount, and the hunt for fraud in any election ... has to take a year, so be it. If the US would have been without a government for a year, during the Bush/Gore recount, nothing would have changed. We can't be sure that September 11 would even have happened because the Bush family are friends of the Saudis. And, it didn't matter that Saudis under the direction of bin Laden attacked this country ...

Bush had warnings and refused to warn Americans; (now we get all kinds of false warnings to play into fear in election years, otherwise these guys couldn't care less. Why would any rational thinking American think Bush would really warn Americans about a serious attack, when he believes it would help his polls, like 911 did, but it won't help him again. It's shouldn't have helped him then)

Bush allowed all of the Saudi family (about 100 members) to leave during the "fly down," without being questioned, and he allowed bin Laden to escape from Afghanistan. He and his whole administration should have been dismissed from office at that time, or at the time we found out for sure what the real count was in Florida. The time we found out that Bush was a squatter in the White House.

For six years the US has been without government, only a shell, a fake front, proven to those who doubted, when Katrina hit New Orleans. Today people in New Orleans live in the same poverty and shell of a city as people who live in Iraq. The only task that the Bush GOP administration really cared about was to act like they were going after bin Laden by bombing Afghanistan, when their mind was really set on invading Iraq and mastering the price of oil, as if delivering the highest debt ever to Americans was not enough, after starting with a surplus left by President Clinton ...

Only a completely irresponsible administration or one who is there for their own reasons, and treasonous ones, in many ways, could do all of this damage to our government and to people's lives, plus the added acerbic legislation and additions to the Supreme Court, which amounts to a war against the citizens of this country and our democracy, also ... all done in the rush of six years, and with the support of some Democrats, who aren't proud enough of their positions in the Democratic Party and should not be allowed to keep them, because they have identity problems, but, that shouldn't be the Democratic Party's problems. Anyone who calls any of these people patriotic Americans is not very well read, or their hands are in the till.

Since that time, we've had two more elections rife with fraud. We've had a Democratic leadership who still carries too much pride to fight for legal elections and accuse anyone of fraud. Such people don't belong in Congress either, they belong in country clubs, which some have said is exactly what the DLC has become. Country clubs don't win elections, they finance them and give great parties.

Rove and Bush are bragging about winning the election this year. Well, they say whatever they want to, because the big guy media either print it or clean it up for them and no one ever disputes what they say, the opposing leadership, that is. What is interesting is watching two people, Rove and Bush, go around the country, raising money, with so much blood on their hands, and they act as if nothing has ever happened. Children dying every day due to injuries or because the US bombed out their hospitals and medical facilities. People living in poverty, bombed out cities, villages. Civil war. Revenge killings. Criminals roaming the cities and killing. Killers ravishing this country like a pack of wild dogs. The elite left Iraq and the poor have to stay and suffer, and Bush and his criminal administration talk in glorifying descriptions of what they have done. I only wish they could live in what they have done. I never thought I would ever, in my lifetime, see this in the US public realm from any officials in our government. I never thought I'd see that they would get away with such treasonous actions.

Oh, I'm aware of the corruption that has existed for 30 to 50 years by these people, but it never was so out in the open ... they've never flaunted it and dared the law to touch them. However, my faith was renewed in our government when Nixon was made to resign, but he should not have been pardoned. That spit on our law and said that the elite do not pay for their crimes, and since then, these same criminal elites, such as Poppy Bush, are rarely punished, hence, the reason we have so much crime in government today.

Such hatred for any fellow man, such as this criminal invasion of Iraq, based on false pretenses and out and out lies, the killings in Afghanistan, and the killing of New Orleans, does not belong in the White House of this country. Only zombies could be so cold towards a country they attacked and invaded and refuse to stop the killing.

This Bush GOP administration has defiled everything Americans thought this country stood for in the world, and everything Americans were proud of. They have taken the glory out of Old Glory.

And, that's where we are today. Like a head-on collision with the world around us, and we are bleeding to death. No one will rescue us today, except ourselves. Never again. Election fraud will never be accepted again by Americans. We know we can go a long time without any government at all ... we've gone six years, haven't we?
