| Short Memories, or No Memories About Real Terrorism Plots MS. SMITH GOES TO WASHINGTON BuzzFlash, Lest we forget real terrorist threats from our own hate groups ... a reminder. I'm sure that I'm not the only one who has to sneer to keep from crying whenever I have to read how our big guy media distorts and reports the news for the treasonous Bush GOP regime. The hullabaloo raised this week over these wannabe hoods, reminded me of some real news about "white supremacists," (they weren't kids either) who were arrested with a real arsenal, not like these guys in Florida who just wanted to belong to some "we the bad guys" club and do some dirty talkin'. These white supremacist hate groups in the US do mean business and the Bush GOP and their kiss-ass media act as if they've never heard of them unless they mention Bush's key word for any propaganda that can be used as information regarding the infamous word "al Qaeda," or if Bush and his GOP need a rabbit to pull out of his hat ... fancy that. This whole article is a great summation of the arrest and background of the arrest of those white supremacists who were found in Tyler, Texas. People in the US tend to forget these hate groups and they are numerous ... why they also lack the attention of the Bush GOP, one can only wonder.
Why wouldn't Bush want a photo op with these people? They were found in Texas, Bush's own stomping grounds I also wanted to mention that there seems to be a very large difference between how these actual extremists, who had the goods on them, are treated and how the so-called terrorists that are supposed to be linked to al Qaeda are treated, because those who are linked to Muslims by the Bush GOP, with very little evidence, have been imprisoned for years before they are even allowed counsel, and, as we know, many are severely tortured. These two were given regular rights of citizens and as this article says, will only spend from five to tens years in prison. That's hard to believe when a person looks at everything they had accumulated and they are set in their ways. In other words, at this age, people don't change philosophies. But the real terrorists get a pass from the Bush GOP and they concentrate on those who do not have the capabilities to do any harm. People should ask "why" this not so subtle difference, and while they are asking why, they might ask also, why did Bush not warn Americans before 911 when he had over 50 warnings? Why does the Bush GOP insist on chasing rainbows instead of preparing for a real storm before it hits? I think we all, or many of us do, have the answer to that. Somehow, because of 911, which happened on Bush's watch, Bush becomes some type of responsible leader to many Americans ... and, he knows damn good and well that he hasn't done anything to deserve such a title, in fact, Bush and his GOP have done everything to make this country more at risk than before 911 and even lied this country into a war and occupation. It just couldn't be a possibility that Bush and his GOP think that it would raise their polls up out of the belly of the beast, if the US suffered another attack, could it? That somehow, like American fictional movies, Bush would raise up to become the great white Christian Coalition of the faithful leader again ... never mind that his leadership has brought this country to its knees with the highest debt ever in our history, tens of thousands of people killed and wounded, and the destruction of Afghanistan, Iraq, and New Orleans ... oh, yeah, we Americans really salivate for such leadership. The problem with Bush is, besides too much bought off power, that he sees himself as a great leader and he sees everyone else as being daft enough to need his leadership ... hmmm, I guess that is why he doesn't read much ... there is a name for such beliefs. Use your imagination. I can't put mine in print. Thanks BuzzFlash, Shirley Smith * * * Shirley Smith is a regular BuzzFlash Reader and Contributor.
