And the Eyes Have It

MS. SMITH GOES TO WASHINGTON
by Shirley Smith

BuzzFlash,

Who knows what Bush is really talking about, when he talks about eyes ... for instance, there's all kinds of eye matter. In photography, it's the catch light in the eyes that give life to a photo. Our eyes are referred to as looking into the soul of a person, and according to Bush in the past, he just loves to peer into those souls. When Bush was quoted as "look you in the eye," to the new Bush puppet in Iraq, maybe Bush has taken courses in hypnotizing, that might explain many people's kowtowing behavior to such Bush GOP inhumane policies today.

But, my thought went to those who were told a few months back when joining Bush in some sort of parade, I don't remember who, what, or when ... because all of the Bush GOP propaganda events just seem to melt into one continuously boring recipe with all of the same ingredients present ... except for the time, that at this event, we heard people were told (paraphrasing) "never to look Bush in the eye as they pass in front of him."

Other eye expressions that are common that Bush could be suffering from or the reason he focuses on eyes, are ... the eye baller, the evil eye, bull's eye, or the idol of my eye, eye in the sky satellites, private eye (snooping that is against the law in Bush's case) ... but, a couple do stand out, such as eye popper, which is something sensationally built up such as Bush's quips and trips. Even more important for people to think about is the "eye for an eye punishment that has been dished out unfairly to thousands of innocent people by Bush, or the eye-deceiving tricks such as photos of the dead human trophies by Bush, plastered all over big guy media, trying to make Bush into some sort of capable leader or human hunter. (gag) But, no one trusts the media today, either, thanks to their own choices these past 15 years of political reporting.

But, the most important of all of these eye ball terms, should be the "eye opener." That's what people see today. And, according to Bush's polls, their eyes have been opened to this treasonous Bush GOP administration. Americans understand that they (Bush GOP faction of Republican party) can't be trusted with government ever again. At least not for the next fifty years. The Bush GOP have given a "black eye," to US democracy, and if that could be the worst of it, we could recover ... but, what the Bush GOP have done to this country's reputation and against their own oaths of office, calls for impeachment and accountability. They are not the same. Impeachment alone is not enough for what these people have done while in the White House and along with their followers in Congress.

There are probably millions of eyes around the world focused on what Bush is going to do next because this is an election year and these criminals have no boundaries, and no one has tried to give them boundaries. The only thing we know for sure is that it will be in some way either deadly, immoral, illegal, a forgery, falsehood, scandalous, stupid ... or, all of those things, plus, and this is most definitely expected ... it will be profitable for the Bush GOP. Did I leave anything out?

When I think of those who were warned to "not make eye contact with Bush," (don't look him square in the eyes) when passing him in a parade ... my thought at the time was the fact that you don't look certain rabid or attack dogs in the eyes, either. You don't look many of the wild animals, such as tigers, lions, and bears (oh my) in the eyes because they consider it a threat to their well-being, or maybe it makes one look like a tasty meal or maybe such animals are just thinking that they want to rip us open to find out if we are all made in the same way, sorta, kinda, like blowing up frogs. (sarcastic snigger)

Bush would probably fit into any of these categories of those whose eyes people shouldn't look directly into, because his behavior could be considered, on a human level, as that of a rabid attacking dog, whose only defense would be that he "felt threatened."

However poppycockish these ideas and comparisons might seem to some, the real difference between an attack dog and Bush is that those type of dogs can be contained, and Bush seems to get away with murder after murder, breaking any law he chooses, and he only wants more. Most reasonable people might think that with so few Americans still believing in Bush, that Bush would try to straighten up and really do what the majority of Americans want, (after all he does work for the American people with outrageous perks, expenses, and salary) such as bringing the troops home, actually helping out Iraq ... but, no, that would mean Bush would have to give up his, mine-is-bigger-than-yours castle in the sand that is now being built (spending taxpayer's money on the largest embassy in the world, when Iraqis don't have eight hours of electricity a day or other basics, and are in danger of being killed every day) in Iraq.

Maybe the real difference is that most attack dogs have more of a conscience than Bush, better training, and their papers are legal, and, most of all, they don't like being petted.

Just a thought,
