Praying, Paying, Preying ...

MS. SMITH GOES TO WASHINGTON
by Shirley Smith

BuzzFlash,

Anything for a buck, but who has an extra one today in Bush's USA? In trying to figure out how to get Americans' last buck, the Bush GOP decided to rape the pockets of Americans through their gas tanks. Every year I vaguely remember this so-called prayer team, that was probably put together by Bush, who has done this little exercise of celebrating Bush's birthday. Who wants to break it to these people that either they didn't pray enough, they are praying for the wrong people, or they are mistaken in who Bush really talks to?

The Presidential Prayer Team

Someone should "delicately" tell these people that Bush is way past needing prayers. I say delicately because anyone who supports Bush today, lives on the edge of insanity. What else are we to think? Supporting Bush must mean that they also believe in our government's use of lies and subterfuge to commit murder, preemptive war, lying about everything and everyone, child abuse, imprisonment of the innocent, torture, theft, treason, the slashing and trashing of our Constitution and Bill of Rights, etc.

Instead, why don't they do some praying for the tens of thousands of people Bush has murdered, and send their families sympathy cards, since the Bush GOP refuses to acknowledge them after they have died? (The GOP don't count the dead in Iraq and Afghanistan. They would like to forget New Orleans and those who Bush failed to warn before 911.) Or those who have died giving service to this nation as if they are no longer of any value to the Bush GOP, or send a "I'm sorry for supporting this treasonous regime that has brought such sadness to your family" cards?

How about those who will forever be in and out of hospitals for every future birthday, due to their injuries? Why don't they show support for our troops who were lied into war and to their deaths by their own AWOL Commander in Chief? This is a Bush GOP war, but it's the Democratic poor who are mostly dying in fighting it.

Why would anyone want to celebrate anything for Bush unless they should want some government favors, since the White House has swinging doors for all GOP contributors to their corruption, and Bush ass kissers?  These are obvious questions aren't they, unless, Bush is behind this prayer team and birthday celebration himself for himself.

This is just another propped up way to make money for the Bush GOP [Presidential Prayer Package gift solicitations start at $35 and go up] and to give Bush what Bush thinks he always deserves and that's down-on-their-knees-before-him type of glory, even if it's just for him being born, and, especially since most of America can't stand him anymore, but I thought these people also believed that they were not to worship any false gods. Silly me.

I'm surprised that it's not considered as some sort of sacrilegiously staged event for any religious organization to celebrate a person's birthday, who has been known to blame God for his warring mistakes and who has been responsible for the deaths of tens of thousands of men, women, and most of those deaths are of children, who will never see another birthday, never experience life to its fullest.  Bush has had the privilege of 60 of them, with all of the protection of a crown royal in velveteen. (Picture the pickled worm found in Tequila.) Maybe these people who want everyone to pray for Bush, should have a day of prayer just for themselves ... maybe, they are the ones who really need to be prayed for.

Just a thought,

Thanks BuzzFlash,
