Unpunished Crimes Never Stop Government Criminals

MS. SMITH GOES TO WASHINGTON
by Shirley Smith

BuzzFlash,

First, Americans can build prisons for immigrants, small drug buys, and just about everything except jaywalking, but they won't punish those who need it the most and those are found in our government. This has been going on since Nixon, and it's time these criminals paid their damn dues to society and the world.

I have Parry's book, I bought it from you, BF, but this is what I have wanted to hear in the public realm. I still blame Clinton for not going ahead and prosecuting the Bush Republicans because, I feel, if he had done so, we wouldn't have all of this war and corruption today or the whole eight years of GOP wallowing around in Arkansas, spending millions on nothing. The Bushes were behind that. And, now, judging from this article, the DLC are going to follow the same old road that leads to no accountability. Well, the Clintons can do whatever they want to do with the Bushes, but America needs justice.  What kind of spine does Clinton have that he can get impeached over a blow job and still not want real criminals to pay the price that every other American has to do if they commit a crime.

I know there are those who want to paint the Clintons with halos, but even though we had some good, we lost a lot during Clinton's reign too. His bipartisan attitude, (which I never, ever understood and I think it allowed the GOP to just stomp on him politically) was more than that. He and Hillary are running on the Democratic ticket, but I've never been sure just what their real politics are. My vote for Clinton was a vote against Bush. And, to keep following this same losing agenda, makes no g**d*** sense at all. I wish the Clintons would take a long vacation, preferably in Greenland, where they can cool off.

Between them and the Bushes ... I would like better than anything to not have to read about either family for the next few years, except the Bushes need to pay for their damn crimes against this country. My God, for 30 years, crimes have been committed with these Bush Republicans' involvement. It's time they paid their dues for what they have done. We need justice, especially from those who take advantage of others because of their "power" in government, which is supposed to be their "jobs." And, these people are responsible for tens of thousands of deaths. They are supposed to work for the people of this nation. I think it's past the time to keep reminding those in DC just why in the hell they are there.

Clinton’s relatively low regard for the value of truth and accountability is relevant again today because other centrist Democrats are urging their party to give George W. Bush’s administration a similar pass if the Democrats win one or both houses of Congress. (snip)

Yet, before Democrats endorse the DLC’s don’t-look-back advice, they might want to examine the consequences of Clinton’s decision in 1993-94 to help the Republicans sweep the Reagan-Bush scandals under the rug. Most of what Clinton hoped for – bipartisanship and support for his domestic policies – never materialized

This is the main reason both Clintons burn my ass. I have always felt that if Clinton had done his job, the last five years would never have happened. He and Hillary are "just" politicians. Hell, after what the Bush GOP did to them, while they were in the White House, and, they still kiss both Bushes' asses. It gives me a burn all over. I'm still pissed about those days, and all of the loyal GOP and loyal GOP Bush media still bring up the Clintons and constantly blame them for something that is Bush's fault. It's not right and the corruption will never stop, until these criminals are brought to justice.

What is it about the DLC that none of them are fighters? They all cave in to the Bush GOP. The old man Bush has been committing crimes for this last half century, and he is another reason for a faction of the CIA to become what it has become. Under Bush, just a nest of gangsters. No, we don't need the DLC to fight our battles because they can't. This has always made me believe that the Clintons and the rest of the DLC are in with the same corporations that float the boats for the Bushes. But, for whatever the reasons that they want to keep giving criminals passes ... it doesn't say anything positive about them either.
