Bush Is Beyond Repair

MS. SMITH GOES TO WASHINGTON
by Shirley Smith

BuzzFlash,

Is there no one in DC who can do anything positive in this day and time of misappropriation, and out and out stealing, in government? The only problem with "everything in DC," is Bush and his administration. As the old saying goes, throw out the baby with the bath water ... they are throwing out the baby and keeping the bath water ... the dirty and useless Bush administration.

WASHINGTON - Hurricane Katrina turned FEMA into a "symbol of a bumbling bureaucracy" so far beyond repair that it should be scrapped, senators said Thursday. They called for creation of a new disaster relief agency as the next storm season looms on the horizon

I would love to see drawings of the brains of our members of Congress "before" they are elected and move to DC and "after" they have been in DC for a while. Because some of them become infected, so it seems, with a type of "political pollution" of the brain that causes them to become dull-witted.

A good example is for them to ignore the facts that FEMA was a topnotch organization before Bush took it over and put it with the other lame Bush organization, Homeland Insecurity.

The Republicans, along with the silence of the Democrats, have ripped up every positive piece of legislation that has been brought forth in fifty years. Rolled this country back to a third world dictatorial government, that's on the skids, and now, they want to ruin the Internet. I want to hear noise from the Democrats in DC or we need to get bodies in DC who believe in the party they are representing. If the Republicans ruin the only place we can get "the truth," and have a voice, I say, vote them all out and for the rest of them, put them in jail where they belong.

There are some Americans who enjoy their own small worlds, and willingly want to be left in the dark ... they live life through their own thoughts and superstitions of what they want their reality to be. We wouldn't want to disturb the already disturbed. Of course not. I'm referring to those who still support the illegal acts of the Bush GOP and are quite happy with that ... even though the Republicans in Congress refuse to recognize that the majority of Americans today are on to them and want to purge this government of them.

There are solutions to the problems in DC, and one would be to take away all of the freebies, perks ... many of the things members in Congress receive, but don't think all Americans should have the same benefits on their jobs, and vote them out for Americans by favoring big business. Almost every member in Congress today is either a millionaire, which doesn't even take notice any more, or a billionaire. These people don't need perks and they can't relate to the majority of the American population, nor do many of them think they have to.

We need to shake up this town and bring reality back to DC. Today, it's more like a government-run casino, with the working American's money, just for the three branches of government (a sort of private club) ... where everyone wins, no losers and regardless of the lying that has caused tens of thousands of deaths, or the cheating, stealing, pilfering ... no one gets kicked out. We Americans don't even know who really is in charge of our own government today. When their time is up, the take home pay is unbelievable.

Take the easy, illegal money out of DC and it will give representatives more time to concentrate on the business of the people. Close down the money machine in DC and throw out all of the cookie jars. If they break the law ... study it behind bars ... where no tabs are allowed.

Thanks, BuzzFlash,
