Shirley Smith: Mutation and Mortality of US Morality

Do we Americans all look like fools? The Bush GOP think that Americans will get behind them if they use their "preemptive strike" program again, this time against Iran, when it has been reported that it would take ten years for Iran to have the capabilities of nuclear weaponry. And, without the Bush GOP in power, negotiations are very possible. They were possible with Iraq, but not for those who wanted to profit from that illegal and treasonous war.

When America knows what the Bush GOP have done to Iraq (killing tens of thousands), the treasonous, unpatriotic and murderous duping of our military and our National Guard, killing over 2,000 (hiding correct numbers is another crime), wounding thousands ... the largest debt in the history of this country ... and these criminals think that doing this again, Americans are going to stand behind them? If our government refuses to step in and stop this insanity by these ruthless warmongers in the White House ... after knowing about all of the carnage they have caused in our name, then they are as guilty as the Bush GOP are, because this time, they would not have stopped them knowing what they are up to. (Of course, many of us knew what they were up to before the invasion of Iraq and said so.)

They (Bush GOP) are not only killing innocent people, they are killing everything America has been known for. They are killing our democracy, the spirit of this country and something that has lived in the heart of every true patriotic American ... the difference between what is right and what is wrong ... the difference between murdering in cold blood, and defending our country.

Morality didn't lie this country into a war. Morality has never been part of the Bush GOP ... so, they fear no one. They blame their god to free their own minds ... but, they cannot free Americans from the responsibility of taking our country back. We have allowed much suffering in the world through this Bush GOP criminal administration, and they have to be stopped. It is a moral obligation that America has to the world and to ourselves when we have stood by and allowed this administration to commit these crimes and, still, we do nothing to stop them.

We Americans are either followers, or we are individuals who can think for ourselves ... the protectors of our own morality, our own destiny, and we are five years past the time for responsible leadership ... we need the balance of power to be checked, because the Bush GOP administration, with the use our military illegally, are warring around the world like a giant, headless, uncontrollable monster ... leaderless, unintelligent, and ungoverned ... an abnormality, a deviant monocracy of a political party that speaks with one voice and only one voice, as in one master ... resulting in the demise of trust of this nation to the world, and the massive mutation of US morality, along with the total desertion from the demands of US democracy. The Bush GOP has cost this nation more than what our money can buy or repair.

Some call it, tit for tat ... we destroyed Iraq and in doing that, we destroyed ourselves. We can't undo what the Bush GOP have done in Iraq, the debt, death, and destruction ... but, we can make them accountable. Make them pay. Make them stop. Stop the permanent bases as proof to the world of our allegiance to our own commonwealth. We can't follow them (Bush GOP) into their own fantasized Armageddon, as they strike at Iran and try to devour the whole Middle East. A battle that is supposed to be the battle between good and evil. How can there be the GOP's Right-Wing Christian Coalition's Armageddon when the Bush GOP represent the side of evil, I wonder? Impeachment and impalement, that is the price, that is the answer.
