The Telltale Forensics of Criminal Politics

MS. SMITH GOES TO WASHINGTON
by Shirley Smith

Whether it is "preemptive war" killing thousands or the "preemptive killing" of an individual because of an imaginary preconceived threat, or the killing of the innocent through neglect ... the Bush GOP have left the blood spatter of their victims mixed with the tears of the survivors at a crime scene that stretches from Afghanistan to Iraq, through the countries holding US prisoners for torture in secret prisons, and then, back home again into the South and especially throughout our own New Orleans ... a crime scene winding through the world like one long deadly black ribbon from war on the people in the world, war on the environment of the world, to the war on the American people using brutal and caustic legislation as the weapons of mass destruction against US democracy.

Yes, a majority of Americans ... Republicans and Democrats alike, are starting to speak out and do not want to be associated with the crimes of the Bush GOP. The war crimes, especially, have not been hidden, and there are reasons for that. It should be of no surprise that the Bush GOP want those Democrats, you know, the Republican Lites, who have supported the policies of this Bush GOP administration, to join them in being held complicit or partly responsible for these crimes. (Guilt by association.) Those Democrats have little time to try and separate themselves (state clearly they are against the war, the cost of the war, the thievery of the war, the corrupted management of US government, etc.) from the Bush GOP and their policies, because they (Democratic Republican Lites), too, will be tainted.

In a Sunday editorial, the newspaper affirmed its pullout demand--few Democrat-leaning papers have joined it--while also making clear it was not in favor of pre-emptive war elsewhere.

Here is the editorial.

On the third anniversary of the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq, the long-term interests of Americans and Iraqis converge.

This war, a painful loss of blood and treasure and predicated on the myth of weapons of mass destruction, must wind down. Quickly. There are far greater challenges in a dangerous world. Toward these, the United States must replenish its economic resources and restore its unity

On 3rd Anniversary, Conservative 'Tribune-Review' Calls for Iraq Pullout

Usually, it's hard to pay attention to what any former Bush GOP supporter says, especially those conservatives who have been with this administration prior to being placed into the White House, because they have been used before to deflect attention ... but, a majority of Americans, both Republican and Democrats, understand that the illegal and treasonous invasion of Iraq that has killed tens of thousands of innocent people and used the US military to do so, causing the deaths and injuries of thousands of innocent Americans ... are war crimes and the use of such violence and the blood spatter caused by that violence, will stick to anyone who has lied and helped to support the lies of the Bush GOP administration ... spatter that will scatter and adhere to the Republican Party for years and years to come.

The Bush GOP crimes are out in the open. War for profit. Legislation that kills our planet for profit. The intentional dereliction of government duties towards the American people that include the illegal snooping into their personal lives and the constant use of "terrorism" as an excuse, while the US is more vulnerable to all tragedies today -- not just terrorism -- more than ever before 911 and the installment of the Bush GOP into the White House. Those failures have killed and displaced thousands of our own people, and they are still discovering the dead in New Orleans, months after the Katrina disaster. Election fraud for the purpose of holding on to power in order to keep committing crimes or for the continuation of covering up undiscovered crimes against the American people. Premeditated and planned. Bush keeps repeating how the Democrats will raise taxes ... who is going to have to pay for the highest debt ever in the history of this country ... a debt caused by this criminal Bush GOP regime ... those wealthy who have been given tax breaks? Another Bush GOP crime against the working people of this country.

War crimes, treason, illegal use of the US treasury and our military ... all of that blood and blood money have the signature of the Bush GOP administration and they are, forever and ever, tattooed into the minds of the survivors of those crimes ... such crimes will never be able to be joked away, washed off, cleaned up, covered up, buried, or just forgotten. The smart set of Americans, the majority ... know this already, whether they are Democrats or Republicans, or members of some other political party ... they know, a world can't survive or begin to heal until the crimes against humanity are solved and justice is served ... even then, the Bush GOP stigma will still survive.

The Bush GOP ... had a grand time; did the crime ... now, must do the time. The Bush GOP administration and their followers have brought dishonor and shame to the Republican party and to this country. The weak may inherit the earth, but it will be a contaminated one and a warring one, if they refuse to look at the evidence and continue to support a treasonous Bush GOP administration.
