The Bush GOP Administration Should Pay for Their Mistakes MS. SMITH GOES TO WASHINGTON by Shirley Smith BuzzFlash, Instead of the US Congress giving the Bush GOP administration whatever they ask for, simply because they have their hands out, the congress should "force" them to be accountable for all of the money that has just liquefied itself and disappeared under this treasonous regime. ANOTHER $65 Billion? What Are We Paying For? President George Bush has come to Congress – to the American people, really – to ask for another $65 billion for war in the Middle East. It’s the fourth time in three years the Administration has asked for extra, unplanned billions to be taken from other needs. What will he do with the money? We’re told this $65 billion (in addition to the $241 billion spent so far1) will be used to "stay the course." Problem is, no one - not Mr. Bush nor Vice President Dick Cheney nor Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld – seems to know what "the course" is. All citizens are offered is more of the same policies - the same policies which have led Iraq to the brink of civil war and bogged our troops in a hopeless quagmire. ... http://www.truemajority.org/ (petition) No more money. That should put a stop to the war. Tear down US bases and bring our troops home. If Congress doesn't put a stop to the greed of this Bush GOP administration ... who will? Oil companies are making the biggest profits ever. All of the companies allowed to privatize this war are making huge profits. War for profit. For this, Americans should die and support ...? Americans fighting to fill the coffers of the Bush GOP and their followers? They (Bush GOP Adm.) don't care about stripping every program that many Americans need just to survive. They don't care about selling off the Public Domain to the highest bidder. They don't care about selling off our ports to the highest bidder who happen to be Arabs. Yet, who gets on the suspect lists for terrorism? Americans. Why should an administration who we know failed to warn Americans before 911, attacked unarmed civilians in Afghanistan and allowed bin Laden to escape, then lied us into an illegal war in Iraq ... an administration fraught with fraud, including our elections ... and yet, are still allowed to keep spending US money and making decisions for US government and the American people? Has DC become one large psych unit for the criminally insane? No corporation in this world would allow a CEO to get away with this, unless everyone (head officers) was in on it ... think Enron. All of these Bush GOP kinda guys are the same. They think alike, act alike, live alike, lie alike ... cloned and connected by their own greed. It's very clear, the Bush administration has no conflict within itself about their lack of capabilities and worse than mediocre performance, since their occupation of US government. That is not their priority, but selling off US government and selling out Americans, are their priorities. True to criminal characteristics, the Bush GOP administration will not stop until they are stopped. Accountability is what this nation needs ... not the cryptic criminality that it feeds.
