| Can You Bruise a Gator? MS. SMITH GOES TO WASHINGTON Well, did Bush lay it on pretty thick against McCain and his military service when he was making a run for president and McCain didn't get "bruised" ... if he did, he's never acted like it.
Someone should tell Obama that anyone who has a skin as tough as an alligator and is as cocky as the only rooster on a chicken farm doesn't bruise easily and that describes all of the Bush GOP and their followers since they have been in DC ... Bush has already kicked McCain, more than once, and he wouldn't "think" of talking to Bush in the same way he talked down to Obama, I betcha. That is the norm of the scorn that Democrats get in DC because they don't fight back ... they just want to be "friendly like." McCain sounds exactly like the Bush GOP that he is and Obama sounds exactly like the Democrat that he is. To get respect from any of the Bush GOP and their followers, you first have to get their attention ... and that means, make them sit up and listen, play by the rules, obey the law, and never, ever apologize to criminals or bullies ... never lie to them and promise them, that Democrats will prosecute those who don't obey the law, including the Bush GOP administration, who don't even bother to include Democrats in government meetings ... they will become believers, but with all of the constant disrespect the Democrats get from the Bush GOP controlled government in DC, there are still those Democrats who will support this treasonous and illegal administration. So far, no one has been able to get the Bush GOP's attention or have a majority of Democrats even threatened to make these Bush Republicans accountable in DC, and they think they are all "cocks of the walk," and we have to listen to them crow and prance around constantly and put up with their lies, cynical and threatening-to-America legislation. It's time for a law-abiding crock-fest served up with a whole bunch of overconfident, vain, and prissy cock-a-doodle doos ... if that were to happen, I think people would be real surprised at how "nice" these cockalorums can behave.
