| Educating Politicans -- That's the Real Problem MS. SMITH GOES TO WASHINGTON Today, when people mention intelligent design, I have to wonder what they are talking about ... the Christian Coalition's theories, or another cynical name for one of Bush's spying methods? John McCain: "Let the student decide." McCain brings his message to MTV audience (Arizona Daily Star) Where is the sense of responsibility to our youth and to their education? That's all we need, another jumbo Republican Dumbo, who puts his friends and friends of this friends ahead of everything, before the duties of leading this country. (In other words, anything for a vote.) The US could use a great amount of improvement in our educational system, except there are so many of the Bush GOP types who really want to kill our educational system ... I guess they figure that if they have their way, such as perpetual war, our youth won't need a decent education to secure their future because they won't have a future. For the amount of money this country invests in killing people around the world, we could have the best education to offer our young people in the world and along with that, the medical care for a long and healthy life. But, instead, we have wannabe leaders trying to make sure that the US joins all of the other third world countries. Because of the complete support and loyalty to the Bush GOP administration and the Republican party, these candidates will not come across as really caring too much about any American, whether it is about their education or their medication ... Americans have had five years of neglect by those who were supposed to represent us in government, and instead, they have constantly supported the Bush GOP. It's a shame, isn't it, that McCain can't sit on the Supreme Court and let everyone decide for themselves ... that would really please the voters of the Christian Coalition who will keep trying to thrust their own beliefs into our government and down every other American's throat, when this country is supposed to have freedom of religion and freedom from some other's oppressive religion. It always seems that this talk about the so-called "intelligent design theory," that is being marketed today by the Right-Wing Christian Coalition of the Bush GOP, does tend to bring the opposite effect out of those who are doing the selling or the buying ... doesn't it? What else will John McCain wimp out on in the future, I wonder? Thanks BuzzFlash, Shirley Smith * * *
