Lock the Doors and Bury the Keys, Alongside Our Democracy

This would be the best move in five years by our Democrats in Congress. Americans are better off without any government at all, than with the Bush GOP administration's idea of government, that has no respect for the Constitution, the American people or our friends and neighbors around the world. Such a move carries great risk. Democrats have threatened to retaliate with a fight that could snarl Senate business for months. Also, it could backfire on Republicans if they were to lose majority control of the chamber.

The resurrection of US democracy will only come after justice and the impeachment of the Bush GOP administration. For the US and the world ... the sooner, the better, as all of the world's rogue nations think they have permission to act as Bush has acted ... and, many countries around the world are afraid and want to arm themselves because of what Bush and his administration have done to Iraq. Years and years of work on disarmament and peace have gone down the drain because of this criminal and treasonous Bush GOP administration.

What good are our laws if they don't apply first and foremost to those with the most power in this country, who have abused the trust of such power, and instead caused debt, death, and destruction in our name ... America's name? Shutting down the US government would be a blessing for us all. The Bush GOP government has accomplished nothing for the good of human kind.
