What a Wasteland We've Become

What is so sad about these young men who keep signing up with the military, knowing they will probably be sent to Iraq and as one mother said, her son wanted to see some action ... well, now his life is over. One year out of high school.  

If people can remember that far back, young people never see their own deaths. They never see danger. Never. It's not a fair contract, when the US sign these young people into our military. They know that the young never think about their own deaths, at least while they are still in the US. This war is such a crime. Now, Bush will promise anything he can to keep the power in DC.  He will keep killing until he is stopped. He will not stop on his own.  

In my mind there is a difference between Bush and Saddam., I think Saddam enjoyed watching or doing the killing himself, unlike Bush. For that reason, I doubted the assassination attempt on Bush I was by Saddam. If George W. Bush were to be dropped in the center of Baghdad, he would probably go nuts and die of fright right there.

That is the crime, to have such a leader for this country; and McCain, he needs to just stay in Arizona. His time has already passed. It's odd to read that people are filling McCain's coffers with cash, when the US populace is so against Bush, and McCain still kisses up to Bush and his followers. Big mistake. Maybe McCain is using the same advisors that some of the Democrats are using in the DLC. Of course, I hope McCain keeps it up. I never did really fall for his act, and that was because of what I read about him in a magazine that is now out of print ... Brill's Content. I really hated to see that mag go.
