Lord Black and Today's World of White Collar Corruption

MS. SMITH GOES TO WASHINGTON
by Shirley Smith

Lord Black isn't a Canadian or even a US citizen ... maybe it's just that since the GOP have been running this country, the word is out ... easy pickin's for every "white collar" criminal that roams the planet looking for marks ... this is about how corporations choose to do business, but they've had great influences and teachers from many US GOP-run corporations such as "Enron," whose CEO (Kenny Boy) is still enjoying life at one of his many residences, after ruining the future and stealing the retirement of the Enron employees.

It's starting to become clear that in a Bush GOP, Americans, honest people, will have trouble making a living. Honest people have trouble getting visas into the US, such as writers who disagree with Bush, Harvard professors, and even a CEO of a computer company that makes voting machines (we could sure use some honest ones) and those are just the ones we know about (why the Bush GOP is given so much power when they are a proven illegal administration and couldn't run a senior citizens Bingo game without lying and cheating ... it's beyond rational thinking). Terrorists had no trouble getting into this country, and even with a month of warnings, Bush and his administration kept their plans a secret from US citizens.

The families of those terrorists, namely bin Laden, had no trouble getting out of the country, because they were escorted out by the Bush GOP White House, while all other planes were down after 911 ... maybe because they were Saudis, they have been entertained since then, in the Bush White House dining room along with such collaborators of war (Chalabi) who also has had no trouble getting into this country and even invited to visit and dine in our own US grand dining room of our (the American people) White House, while our own military and Iraqis are dying daily in a war that Chalabi helped Bush to start. There seems to be something very wrong with that picture that should ruin everyone's appetite.

To start with, the American people need to demand the keys to the dining room be taken away from this Bush GOP White House, since Bush has no sense of propriety in matters of respect, not only toward our own military but to all of those Iraqi people who have been killed or have had their lives ruined by this turncoat who has been allowed to walk the halls of our Executive Branch and even to dine with the Bush GOP cabal.

"All in all, what has happened here has been a gross abuse by officers and directors and insiders who decided to line their pockets," said Mr. Fitzgerald, U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Illinois. At a press conference in Chicago, he added that Canadian taxpayers were also victims of the alleged fraud because Lord Black and the others allegedly disguised millions of dollars in bonus payments as something else in order to avoid paying taxes. "So there was sort of twin fraud, one upon the investing shareholders of an American corporation and the Canadian tax authorities." (snip)

While the criminal charges are serious, they don't mean much to Hollinger shareholders who have lost millions of dollars, said Gene Fox, partner at Cardinal Capital, which has invested in the company. "If they go to jail, it's important," Mr. Fox said yesterday. "But that doesn't help us, per se. This is about restitution, it's about recovery."

Black ordered to appear (The Globe and Mail)

The Bush GOP White House doesn't represent America, even though it has been open to all Saudi friends of Bush and of course, the other criminal cohort, Chalabi visiting with Bush ... yes, with the Bush GOP in the White House ... Bush has become close friends with every politically corrupt crony and country in the World ... because, he's just that kinda guy. Corrupt and friendly like, he's never met a dishonest person that he couldn't trust. This fraud committed by Lord Black and others, was only for 84 million dollars ... it doesn't come close to the cost of the fraud, death and destruction committed against US citizens by the Bush GOP ... but, as they say, "Every cur dog does have his day."
