Actually, It's the U.S. that has Slipped and Tripped on its Own Hubris . . .

MS. SMITH GOES TO WASHINGTON

People may laugh at China . . . but, someday they may be in control of this Country . . . how much of the US Bush GOP debt do they own, I wonder?

On Monday a little-known Chinese company made a $450-billion offer to buy Exxon Mobil Corp., the world's largest publicly traded oil company.

(snip)

Cartwright said his initial reaction was to ignore the offer unless there was evidence it had the Chinese government's backing.

$450-Billion Bid for Exxon Sounds Rather Slippery (Los Angeles Times)

China and Bush may both hunger for the same title, "the largest world power," but China knows that it can't be accomplished through death and destruction . . . that has never worked in the past. And, you can't be a world contender for that title while at the same time, the leaders in government are busily burying the US with a bandit reputation and bank notes . . .

Americans should be careful not to be the first ones to laugh at China and her companies who express world class big ideas . . . those who laugh first, never laugh last or ever again . . . think of today, for those of us living under the Bush GOP administration or in Iraq, where no one is laughing.
