IRAQ SKETCHBOOK pays tribute to the service and sacrifice of the men and women serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. We assail the Bush administration for its inadequate support of our troops in the field and at home, including our veterans.

The weak and ineffectual leadership of this administration has failed to build an adequate coalition of allies to support our troops. We are also appalled by the failure of President Bush to publicly acknowledge and pay tribute to the over 10,000 casualties, 2500 permanent disabilities and over 500 of our soldiers killed in the war.

We find the stonewalling of independent investigations into 911, the uses of intelligence on Iraq, and the administration's outing of a CIA agent assigned to WMD's—a reckless disregard for the men and women who risk their lives in service to our country. Our American ideals demand more and our troops deserve better.
