Praise The Lord, Pass The Legislation

To change the marital boundaries
Republicans say with piety
Would be a nightmare if it allows
Ones of the gay variety.

But when they’re confronted with
Boundaries between church and state
They’ll gladly step over any line
Without a moment to hesitate.

They wrapped themselves in the flag
So right-wingers are now liable
To happily cover themselves
With pages from the Bible.
