This Just In: No News Is Good News

There’s less talk of Dubya’s failing
Social Security plan
Or our troops dying in Iraq
And new threats aimed at Iran.

There’s also less coverage of all
The ethics woes of Tom DeLay
Or that fake White House reporter
And higher gas prices on the way.

We’re transfixed from Alaska
Down to Hawaii 5-0
No wonder Bush’s feeding tube
Is hooked up to Terri Schiavo.
