Maybe it’s not weird
To see Bush supporting
A reporter who’s
Never done reporting.

Bush knows what it’s like
To be someone who
Has a job
But not a clue.

Being Governor of Texas
Was hardly straining
A part-time gig with
On-the-job training.

No crisis involving
Any nations
Have made Bush cut short
His Crawford vacations.

With smoke and mirrors
And flattering lights
We’re left with Neo-Cons
And neophytes.
