Quite a bit lately
GOP pundits say,
"Democrats are mean to
Republicans who are gay!"

(Ironically, Republicans
Never like to state
That some of their members
Are, well, you know, not straight.

You don’t believe me?
Think I’m a liar?
I have two words for you:
Mehlman and Dreier.)

The right wing’s now protecting
Their imbedded loose cannon:
Talon cub reporter and
Aging boy toy "Jeff Gannon."

The big fear of gay marriage
It’s surely now worth noting
The GOP deployed to get
The Religious Right voting.

They also fired wildly
From each and every flank
During a sex scandal
That involved Barney Frank.

But if the Left questions
A gay who’s on the Right
Conservative pantywaists
All say they want a fight.

Democrats should ignore this
And act like people who
Want to win and party
Like it's 1992.
