Fake White House Reporter Really Quits Job

"Jeff Gannon"
was a White House flunky
Who backed their views
And was always spunky.

No one mistook him
For Bill Moyers
Because Talon News,
His alleged employers,

Are a fake news group
Quite brash and blunt
And happy to be
A GOP front.

(Congress denied him
His own press pass
Which proves that those
Folks had some class

Unlike the White House
Who showed little sense
Letting novice Jeff
Into press events.)

Gannon’s a reporter
In the same way
That a tricycle
Is a Chevrolet.

He’s eagerly been
Scott McClellan’s shill
When real reporters
Got too tough or shrill.

Jeff found himself
On the hot seat
And left the kitchen
To avoid the heat.

He’s such a fraud
Jeff Gannon’s not his name
It’s James Guckert
Whose future fame

Will be that he once
Was hired by Bush
To secretly give
His agenda a push

Until blogs decided
To stampede him ---
Where’s Armstrong Williams
When you need him?
