Reelection Honeymoon with Voters Eludes President

One imagines at The White House these days
They’re facing more than just a few fears
Bush’s approval rating is the lowest for
A sitting president in fifty years.

The commonly accepted explanation
For this change in his popularity
Is his war continues heading south
With an increasing regularity.

Hearts and minds were supposed to be won
In this bloody and brutal invasion
But losing hearts and minds here at home
Wasn't part of the Neo-Con’s equation.
