Queer Eye for the Veep Guy
by Tony Peyser

Soon after the Tempe event
White House spinners couldn't wait
To get the media's mind off how
Bush had lost each debate.

They got the press all riled up
Then shook a finger at Kerry
And shrieked, "How could he have
Said something about Mary?"

The Vice President's daughter's
For many years has been OK
With letting the whole world know
That she happens to be gay.

To score political points
Her folks acted like they doubted her
And righteously responded
As if John Kerry had outed her.

Lynne Cheney, take a chill pill
Mary's a lesbian, not a felon
You and Dick should go in his bunker,
Have a drink and then watch "Ellen."
