BuzzFlash,

I find it pretty humorous that people, including the WSJ, are calling for Harvey Pitt to resign. Also that people are calling on White to resign or Ashcroft. While the wagons have been circled in this country, those supposedly protecting us, are seemingly hell bent on scalping us. This administration knew exactly who and what they were getting when they appointed these men -- I figure most of Congress knew as well --and they got exactly what they were wanting, and these men are doing the exact job they were hired to do. As I watch the destruction of the US, it chills me to think what the true agenda might be in this administration. Tomahawk anyone?

Dear BuzzFlash,

Again I must express my gratitude for your site "being there" when people need see the other side of the mainstream media lemmings lies........

I'm curious if there are any others out there who get the same sick feeling in the pit of their stomachs as I do every time I read about some right-wing idiot casually espousing replacing another country's head of government because our administration suspects that they might be developing nuclear and/or biological weapons.

It is precisely that type of attitude that inspires other countries to want to harm us. Who the hell are we to determine who rules another country? And why aren't the true patriots in our Congress speaking out against such reckless utterances ??

There are some days when I just don't want to get up in the morning -- for the sheer depression I feel about this country possibly never waking up to the evil that currently "runs the show" here in what was once the greatest country on earth.....

Thanks BuzzFlash for helping me through it.

Buzz,

In the Mailbag section dated 5-13-02, there was a letter submitted by a Ms. Rebecca Knight. It was an excellent letter that detailed all of the thoughts and points that I have attempted to make pertaining to the events of 9-11. I would love to see this written
as a BuzzFlash special. In fact I would like to see it possibly submitted to various newspapers (the Atlanta Journal/Constitution comes to mind). The writer is sincere and the writing is matter of fact and to the point. It is also quite disturbing!

Dear Buzz,

I just read the AP story of Ashcroft's commencement address at Catholic University Saturday. I should be used to it by now, but I'm always kind of startled by the brazen hypocrisy.

'"Terrorists, Ashcroft said, "distrust the decisions of free people, afraid of what free people would choose. Instead, the terrorist, rejecting persuasion, decides to rely on extortion to force people to a conclusion that they would never embrace on their own."

"Instead of hope and reason, the terrorist offers fear," he said.'

If you substitute "Ashcroft" for "terrorist," it sounds exactly like what this domestic enforcer tried to do in Oregon!

Dear BuzzFlash,

Do you suppose tomorrow morning's papers will lead with a story about how US Undersecy of State John Bolton lied when he claimed that Cuba was supporting "terrorist activities" and sharing "Biological-Weapons applicable" technology with rogue states? Jimmy Carter says he asked US intelligence officials and, "The answer from our experts on intelligence was 'no'."

I must be dreaming, right?

Carter: No Evidence Against Cuba
Mon May 13, 2:59 PM ET

By JOHN RICE, Associated Press Writer

HAVANA (AP) - Jimmy Carter said Monday that American officials briefing him for his trip to Cuba said they had no evidence the communist country was transferring abroad technology that could be used to make weapons of mass destruction.

Dear Buzz,

Re: Newt Gingrich, Maximum Hypocrite

I think that you've made a small error. Wife #1 was the one served while in the hospital. You forgot to mention that he then didn't send support payments, and her church had to pay her food and utility bills until he was forced to send the payments because of bad publicity. She was desperately ill and not able to work and he would not pay for her or their children's needs. He's a winner, isn't he?

[BuzzFlash Note: Gingrich and Rush Limbaugh are some of the worst "deadbeat dads." How fitting that they are also such strong examples of Republican ethics and "family values."]

Dear BuzzFlash,

Subj: Department of Strategic Lying

When you stoop to calling Former President Jimmy Carter a liar, you are beyond evil! What else are they lying about? The better question is what aren't they lying about.

Read the article. No one calls Carter a liar after the huge headline.

Dear Buzz,

Subj: Rove's Foreign Policy

Yesterday we got a story that Karl Rove is now running foreign policy - today we get a story that makes it appear that the Bush people are making up stories about Cuba and bio-weapons. Coincidence? Or is the story an appeal to Florida's Cuban voters?

Dear BuzzFlash,

Subj: Nuclear Power Plants!

How come you are not screaming it from the rooftops!

Our N-power plants are vulnerable to attack, everyone admits that, it's been openly reported, talked about in congress!

How come nobody has proposed emergency protection including either army or national guard stationed around each plant and jets and/or attack helicopters patrolling and/or stationed close enough to matter.

Not a word from the white house re increasing security!?

Elections coming soon! Popularity going down! Enron closing in! = possible disaster!
