Subject: Ann Coulter et al.

Re Ann Coulter and all the awful things on TV:

YOUR TV HAS AN OFF SWITCH.

Which seems to occur to few. So far as I know, there is nothing in federal, state, county or municipal law requiring one to watch TV. I don't. And, so far, I haven't died.

Subject: Fighting with Al Gore (for him)

Hey there--

I just sent a message to Al Gore, who's been attacked in his efforts to raise the issue of global warming.  So far, right-wing talkers have compared him to Joseph Goebbels, the Nazi propagandist, and one likened Gore's pursuit of solutions to global warming to Adolf Hitler's pursuit of genocide.

Tell him thank you and that he should keep fighting here:

Subject: Ann Coulter on ABC

Please, get some perspective. I watched the video of Ann Coulter on ABC with Matt Lauer. He didn't give her a "platform." He roasted her. Every question he asked, she couldn't answer and was actually speechless. She's totally off her game. Finally, she began to personally attack him because she just couldn't frame any answers. Her attack drew loud boos from the audience.

I think they're doing the right thing to bring her on and let her destroy herself. I wish liberals would stop being so reactionary. We'll end up like the neocons and become the very thing we despise.

P.S. I don't even care for Matt Lauer, but in this instance, I think you've misinterpreted the interview.

Subject: Letter to NBC's "Today Show" Regarding Their Providing a Platform for Deranged Harridan Ann Coulter

The producers and on-air personalities at the Today Show have some explaining to do. Why in the name of decency would you provide a forum for that vile sociopath Ann Coulter to disseminate her repugnant opinions? This is no small matter of opposing political perspectives: Coulter's invective is devoid of any qualities but vitriol and blind hate. Are you not aware that this is a person who advocates in public the assassination of a United States Supreme Court justice? On January 27 of this year she made this statement to the crowd at Philander Smith College in Little Rock, Arkansas:

"We need somebody to put rat poisoning in Justice Stevens' creme brulee."

Is this acceptable discourse in the opinion of NBC's news division? I would certainly hope not.

Of course when someone objects she says she was only joking; that "the left has no sense of humor"; and that she is being victimized/persecuted - just like she did to your host Matt Lauer yesterday. I'm glad that Mr. Lauer asked the question he did regarding Coulter's disgusting "joke" at the expense of a number of 9/11 widows, but this kind of person requires much rougher treatment than the deference she received on your show, if she is to be put in front of the cameras at all.

Remember, you are known by the company you keep.

Subject: GOP Shadow 'Third Party'

Dear BuzzFlash;

Americans are wise to the GOP's election year games. And the GOP knows it.

The GOP can no longer imply there is only one American political party by repeating the lie that there is no difference between the two.

Americans are wise to their lies.

At the same time, the GOP can no longer claim the GOP is morally superior to the Democratic party.

Americans remember Katrina.

And now the GOP trots out their election year Hate Issues.

Americans know where their priorities are: universal health care, global warming, checks and balances, the rule of law, and the troops deployed in the Middle East.

The GOP is very good at manipulating the American voters, and in their desperation know they must switch tricks and fast.

The GOP newest game is to start a shadow 'third party' to create the illusion of choice between the party they are simultaneously too similar to and morally superior to.

Don't be fooled America; no GOP incompetent criminal can change its spots.

Accountability is Democratic.

Subject: No Amnesty

As you know, progressives are split on the illegal immigration issue. I'm convinced that Busby lost because of her stance on amnesty for illegals. Bilbray had the right position and he won. It wasn't the money.

This election was a wake up call to all Democrats. If you want to win in November, you need to be a strong proponent of border security and you must be against Bush and his amnesty proposal. Do not support the position of the corporatists. If you're soft on illegal immigration, you simply won't win.

This is a point BuzzFlash is missing and it's a shame. You're on the wrong side of this one. Why in the world would you side with the Senate, with Bush, and the corporations?

Subject: Defense of Marriage

OK folks it is time to point out an ultimate hypocrisy of the Anti Gay marriage shills. Which do you think has done more to damage marriage in this country and in the world, the threat of same-sex marriage or the Bush administration? For starters let's consider the effect of the illegal war in Iraq on American and on Iraqi marriages. There is plenty more, such as NAFTA, WTO and on and on. And the fools keep falling for it.

Subject: Gay Marriage Hypocrites

Just when I thought they couldn't get any loonier ...

"If we didn't believe in miracles, we wouldn't have spent our vacation money to come here," said Sandra Rodrigues of Utah, who with her family has been standing outside the Russell Senate Office Building all week, shouting at senators and displaying signs urging "Stop Same Sex Marriage: It Endorses Masturbation." "If same-sex marriage is endorsed," she explained, "then you're going to have children think it's just another option to have pleasure."

So....I guess heterosexuals NEVER touch themselves...especially not THERE!!! And I guess their moral and religious teachings are so weak that their children might actually expect sex to be pleasurable! And with the the same gender yet!!

*holds up sign* Stop Sex. It Endorses Nudity and Bumping Uglies. BAAAAADDD! (*Unless you do it in the dark, in the missionary position, for procreative purposes only).

Said Karen England of the Capitol Resource Institute: "We have boys who are going to be in with your girls in the locker room and the restrooms."

And how the heck do they get to this point?? If it's gay boys and lesbians though, wouldn't it be OK? /snark

Seriously, these people are bats**t crazy. They want to inspect everyone's panties and make sure we are all NOT enjoying ourselves, because you know, that would be unGodly.

We need to stand up to this insanity, because, like, I think adultery is way more threatening to my marriage than two people wanting to commit their lives to each other. And they love those Ten Commandments...didn't it say something about adultery there? Don't remember anything about 'one man-one woman' though.

We need to expose these hypocrites for what they are, and take back our Constitution and country!

Subject: Bush Is Feeling the Pressure

Heck, I never thought I would say this but I guess that dumbya Bush does have a soul.

All this time I thought this bumbling idiot had no soul, felt no remorse, and had no ethics whatsoever. I still feel that way, but to a lesser extent now.

I watched his little speech on immigration just a few minutes ago, and to my amazement, this little mad man didn't sound like the gung-ho "bring 'em on" guy we have grown to despise. He sounded more like a little boy that just got his trousers warmed up asking for a cookie.

I still look at him and know he is lying, it is in his genetic make up, but now while he is lying I notice the whipped tone he uses. He no longer acts like the Dirty Harry guy, he now acts like the dweeb asking the prom queen for a date. Quite a little change from the last 5 plus years.

I would have to say that this little flying monkey is feeling the pain of a guy that did his demon's bidding and is paying the price.

To that I can only add, too little, too late.

What a sad little bigoted man, that cultivates fear, hatred, and intolerance. Beyond that, what a sad little broken man. Just a sad little man.

George "Dumbya" Bush, sad little wanna-be-dictator man.

But it is difficult to feel sorry for a sad little man that sold his soul to gain the world, when innocent people have paid for his riches with their lives.

Whatever will they put on his headstone?

World's worst president ... Often selected, never elected ... World's best failure ... Father of two druggies ... or just ...

How sad.

Subject: Ann (the Man) Coulter

Buzz:

So now Ann Coulter is attacking the relatives of the 9-11 victims. ( I already wrote to the "Today Show" to protest her appearance there). I asked Buzz about a year ago if it has been proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that Ann Coulter is really a woman! There has got to be a reason for a person to be this sick and vile. If she isn't angry and confused because she is a man in a woman's body, then maybe she is your common, prime example of a lunatic. If this is the case, shouldn't a picture of her be located in the dictionary next to the word "lunatic"? When will the authorities come for this woman/man/thingie/creature? If it's proven that she is simply out for the money, I suspect that when it's time to meet her maker (Satan) she will apologize (a la Lee Atwater) for all of her misdeeds.

Subject: Re: Ann Coulter

I usually just ignore Ms. Coulter as she so richly deserves. She has neither charm nor wit and spews hate like a broken sewage system. However her latest hate filled rant is worthy of some, not much, comment. If only out of respect for the victims of 9/11.

When a piece of compost such as Ann Coulter attacks the widows of 9/11 and declares that “they are enjoying the deaths of their husbands” and then adds insult to injury by suggesting that those same dead husbands would perhaps had divorced these women it is just not possible to remain silent. Not and retain any integrity.

Ms. Coulter is perhaps unaware that it takes more than having a cross displayed prominently on her boney chest to be a Christian. Like others on her hate-filled side of politics she offers nothing valuable to any debate. She simply spews a few outrageous lines and it adds to her “celebrity.” Her fans find her vituperative comments worthy as long as she attacks those with whom they do not agree. But then we all know that the Conservatives set a very low bar in the values debate.

Her fans also need a lesson in what it means to be a Christian. It takes more than telling everyone, at every opportunity “I am a Christian.” Christianity isn’t something you say, its something you live. Ms. Coulter does not even come close.

Ann Coulter does serve one purpose however. She reminds those of us like myself who are Moderate Independents politically that as disgusted as we may get with the left, as tired as we are of the Disastrous Democratic Party there really can be no choice come election day. Whatever side the Ann Coulters of the world are on, decency is on the other.

Subject: Rumsfeld's Offhand Remarks

Immediately following the announcement and video blow-by-blow of Zarqawi's death by bombing in which, is was conceded, 5 others died, including a woman and a child/infant ...

Rumsfeld was on a podium in Europe saying (and I quote), "... others were killed in the attack, and, that's always a good thing."

It doesn't take much imagination to figure which out takes of his remarks will be making it to the Arab press, does it?

Especially 'dovetailed' to the massacre investigations/allegations.

We/'They' may have (finally?) got Zarqawi, but Rumsfeld's careless, insensitive, remarks virtually insure hundreds, if not thousands of 'replacements.'

Too bad Bush '41 wasn't successful with his replacement efforts of Rumsfeld earlier this year. We are all (Iraqis and Americans) 'losers.'

Subject: Soccer Anyone?

I am really troubled, and I say really troubled ... as in more so than just being spied on and hating it.

I am really troubled with the story about the soldier that would rather desert than go back to this illegal, immoral and unjust war because of what he witnessed: American soldiers playing soccer with the decapitated heads of Iraqis.

I don't give a flying ************ if they were soldiers, insurgents, evil-doers or what. You simply have to honor some minimal standards of conduct. Whether you are the "liberators greeted with rose petals" or the evil bastards that caused us to die prematurely of radioactive poisioning. You simply do NOT PLAY SOCCER WITH DECAPITATED HEADS. This is the type of behavior that the Nazis demonstrated, and it should not be condoned by anyone. Despite your orders from higher-up, you have the obligation to decide what is right and what is wrong. Soccer with heads IS JUST F**KING WRONG.

So, are you going to be whipped up in a racist lather over fags getting married, or are you going to worry about the more important things in the world?

Don't be a stooge, and get up to Dumbya's "CALL TO HATE," you aren't in grade school anymore, pull your HEAD OUT and realize that "DUMBYA'S CALL TO HATE" is just to keep you occupied so they can commit war crimes.

When AWOL Is the Only Way Out: The sight of U.S. troops kicking the heads of decapitated Iraqis around 'like a soccer ball' made Army soldier Joshua Key desert to Canada. 6/3

Hi BuzzFlash,

I don't know about the rest of you but as soon as I hear a program say they are having Fangs Coulter on their show, I immediately send off an e-mail telling that show that my television just shut that show off!!

Let FAUX be the only one left that props her up. Let the mindless, inept people that watch that Propaganda Network see someone with a lower mentality than the viewers (although that is a real toss-up).

As for the rest of us people with brains, keep her off the networks - period!! The same goes with radio talk shows.

Subject: Serious Fiendish Mastermind Shortage in Iraq

Add to all the other problems in Iraq a critical shortage of fiendish masterminds to oversee the insurgency. In fact, with al-Zarqawi‘s death we seem finally to have run out of them. In the good old days they were plentiful: there was Saddam and/or his large family. But when Saddam was captured, his sons killed, his half brother arrested, the insurgency got worse, not better. We worked our way through the playing cards, and steadily depopulated the most over-staffed position in Al-Qaeda, the ‘number 3’ spot by capturing or killing Abu Zubaida, Abu al-Faraj al-Libbi, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, Abu Anas al-Libbi, Saif al-Adel, and Abu Hamza Rabia. Yet with each “significant blow to the insurgency” and “victory in the war on terror” the attacks on Americans and Iraqi civilians increased. The only rational explanation was, of course, that there remained a single malevolent controlling force (who, importantly, was NOT either Osama bin Laden or Ayman Zawahiri , since we don’t know where the hell they are) whose capture or death would “break the back of the insurgency” in the only spot left where it hadn’t already been broken. And that man was Abu Musab al-Zarqawi. With this last fiendish mastermind now gone, the inevitable end of the insurgency can only be days or weeks away.

Subject: Bolton

John Bolton’s feathers have been ruffled. The deputy secretary general of the UN accused the US of bashing the UN. Bolton has made a career out of UN bashing. Therefore he was handpicked by bush and surreptitiously slipped in as US envoy to the UN.

John is miffed because this English UN guy is aiming his comments at the great mid-west. The deputy secretary general accuses right-wing broadcasters of swaying the hearts and minds of hardcore America with anti-UN propaganda. John’s ticked off because the guy is directing his wrath on the American people not the American government. According to John, this is the worst thing the UN has ever done. The worst ever.

Maybe it’s time the American people did accept some of the responsibility for their government. These guys have been in for six years. They’ve steam rolled their agenda across America, promoting big business and slashing civil and human rights. They’ve taken over the congress, the senate, the supreme court and established a unitary executive. Yet the people have elected them three times. I think it’s time the American people shouldered a bit of the responsibility.

Sure, the elections have been rigged. But no one has done anything about it. The country is still run by the corruptible counties that decide who gets to vote. The counties also decide what system of voting is used and the counties decide what electronic equipment is used. How low does it go? If the right people are greased at the lowest levels, the outcome of an election is a foregone conclusion.

John Bolton has every right to be worried. If the blame is focused on middle America, maybe they might wake up and realize how they’ve been bamboozled by Rove and his right-wing radio buddies

Subject: The Enabling Pug Women

Dear BuzzFlash,

Isn't is interesting how the hypocritical Repugish women are brought out to help in the enabling of Bushy and lackeys?

Case in point is Ann Coulter calling the widows from 9/11 harpies, etc.  I am sure that this is orchestrated to rile up the ignorant and haters, to help the ratings for Dimwit.  She is really one sad excuse for a human being.

In fact, if little Smirko, Cheney the Cheshire, Rummy et al., weren't always harping on 9/11, maybe, just maybe, there could be some healing for the widows.  Those of us who belong to the club where spouses have died, at least get a chance to deal with the day of death in our own way, and not having the whole world remind us day after day.

Of course, the biggest enabler for Smirko is his wife.  Laura tries to play on how kind and benevolent she is.  But, is it kind and benevolent to aid a psychopath?  She is just like the enabler for a drunk, a drug addict, or an abuser (or all three which Georgie might be).

Subject: I Object to Your Headline

Dear BuzzFlash:

Today I read this headline on your site:

Breaking: Senate rejects effort to cut estate tax. Bill Frist still hopes to bankrupt America so a few Richie Riches can get more money.

I was the last writer of the character RICHIE RICH for Harvey Comics. I can assure you that Richie was VERY liberal and often gave away millions to charity.

It is a slur to my old friend Richie Rich to compare him to the present day Republican Party.
