Subject: Free Flash Count Down Timer To 11.04.2008
This is a link to a countdown timer I created to show people when Bush gets out of office. Feel free to download it and add it to your sites, friendster, ICQ... wherever you think a counter like this needs to be displayed.
Subject: Recall bush!!!
How come no one is talking about recalling bush like they did to Gray Davis? I wouldn't have a clue how to go about getting it going, but I'd work like hell on the campaign!
Subject: Reasons Given for the War
1. Saddam has terrible weapons and hates us = Because we're free.
2. Saddam did 9/11 = Revenge.
3. Iraq should be democratic = We know best.
4. Our dead should be honored = we will kill more.
5. Oil = too important to let the rag heads keep it.
ps 1 = We have near 2000 dead. Russ Feingold demands an exit date Dec 2006, when we will have 3000 dead. Loyal opposition.
ps 2 = Joe, Hillary, Diane, and Byron demand an exit as soon as we have 58,000 dead, they're really LOYAL opposition.
Subject: Shrub's Nervous Twitch
I was watching the resident giving his little pep talk on T.V. on Labor Day and it was pointed out to me by my extremely observant wife that he's got a nasty cocaine twitch in his jaw. Just watch him some time when he's talking. His jaw will suddenly grind over from one side to the other ever so slightly. I couldn't believe my eyes! I've seen that same twitch in most people I know who use cocaine including three of my own siblings. The freakin leader of our country GEEKING on live television during a national disaster. Am I just seeing this or has anyone else noticed?
[BuzzFlash Note: Maybe readers from the drug rehab professions can comment?]
Subject: Dogs of Impeachment
You continue to advance the truth about our pathetic, self-inflicted bondage under the criminal, heartless and sociopathic leadership known as the Bush administration. Your influence in this country is growing and I am so happy to see it.
I have Republican friends who are changing their outlook on the validity of King George and his gang of ass kissers and their right to rule this nation. See what a little reckless regard for human life can do where words heretofore went in the proverbial ear and out the other? And also...there seems to be an awakening in some of the mainstream media...it took many American lives here and in Iraq to shed a light so bright on Georgie Porgie that even FOX can't pull the usual dark wool over our eyes any more.
George: I e-mailed you a year ago and demanded that you resign and step down....I repeat my demand again....do it before the dogs of impeachment chase your sorry ass all the way back to Crawford.....
Subject: Hurricane Katrina
Bush said we were fighting "them" overseas to keep "them" from coming to our shores. Well, as is typical, "they" arrived - in the form of Katrina. And, as is custom, we weren't prepared. Thousands of our own citizens have died - because of Bush's incompetence. It could not be a better orchestrated dream of bin Laden and our enemies. The entire response was botched. The entire scenario is disgraceful - and a banner to the world that the world's greatest super power cannot handle an emergency. We were invaded - again. And once again, Bush was on vacation - and unable to deal with the situation. And once again, he lies - and said that no one could have anticipated it. Again.
Subject: Karl the Leader of the Lemmings
Here's an idea: Take the sickeningly obese KKKarl Rove away from his greasy dinner table and hypnotize him to jump off of a cliff. Let him loose, send him over, and watch EVERY SINGLE REPUB mindlessly jump off the cliff behind him.
Simple solutions to complex issues....

Subject: "Master" of Disaster?
Much as I admire BuzzFlash and everything you (we) stand for, I take vigorous exception to your current phrase defining George Bush as the, "Master of Disaster."
Listen, George Bush is a "Master" of absolutely nothing, nor has he ever been. He goes exactly wherever the Rove/Cheney administration tells him to go, and says whatever they tell him to say. He's never had to work a day in his life at a real job, and he never did. He's never had to read the right side of a menu to see if he could afford a meal, never sweated the rent to make sure he had a place to live, and never done a generous deed in his wasted, self-indulgent existence.
Nope, the president of the United States has proven to us -- and to the world -- that he's nothing more than a smug coward who refused to go overseas for his country, but doesn't mind sending thousands of less privileged young Americans to Iraq to fight for his family's vast oil interests.
Wait. I'm not through.
This spoiled punk, this lifetime mama's boy, will someday inherit many millions of dollars from his arms-dealing daddy, but his money and his privilege and his perpetual Secret Service escort will never turn him into a "Master" of anything but craven cowardice.
And yeah, I'm a pissed-off veteran.

Subject: GOPs Working Out the Detoils
DeLay won't let anyone (i.e., Dems) read the Katrina Relief Bill introduced today. There can only be one reason for this action: Corporate OIL benefits and/or control.
Bush waited several days to respond to the Katrina disaster. Again, there can only be one reason for his inaction. Corporate OIL benefits and/or control. Working out the detOILs beforehand.
Let's ask John Conyers to subpoena ALL records of the Bush Administration cell/land line phone calls and e-mails during the period of August 27th to the present, and we can see for ourselves who they chose to respond to, and why.
Subject: No Photos of the Dead
I think it's pretty obvious! Part of the Bush Team Recovery after the initial total failure of his Administration to offer aid and assistance to the Katrina victims is to keep a lid on the death toll. Why else would you set up the mortuary to identify the dead 70 miles away from New Orleans, which is crawling with press? Why else would they be so concerned with protecting the dignity of the dead that the press and photographers will be off limits? FEMA did not care enough about these people to actually help them or rescue them while they were still alive, but we are asked to believe that they are sensitive to their dignity in death. The death toll is huge, and they want to undercount it! The bigger the number, the worse for Bush. The smaller the number, the easier to recover from his mishandling of the event.
Subject: The Plan
Blessed are we the people. Divine, too. How else to explain that those chains are about to come off - in the wake of Katrina and New Orleans. We blow this one wide open and we'll change the world. Can't have one without the other! Simple as that.
"No pictures of the martyred " - as in the Iraq war. And as for New Orleans - "It's OK to fudge a bit on the numbers."
"And what to do with those poor devils that have been scraped from the bottom of the barrel?" "Why not say they were monkeys, not people, like you always do?"
But we the people never again pay any attention to such unbelievable sources. Instead, we put the president on trial in New Orleans - tried by the people of New Orleans, aided and abetted by the rest of we the people. What'll happen? It's going to turn out that the truth actually does free us all. The rest is up to we the people.

Subject: Remember the “Louisiana Disaster Plan, Pg. 13, Paragraph 5” bs Winger Posts Going Round The Web?
I’m sure some of you have seen the following quote being pasted all over the Net on the Rightwingnut Blogs and Forums. The first hint that something was amiss was the “pg 13”; why not Page 13? It shows that someone was desperate to rush any ‘Talking Point’ out there. But the real hint that something was amiss was the lack of a URL to the Document; why don’t the people posting this want us to see the whole Document? Below, in the paragraph, is the Post.
What the posters left out was that this Paragraph fell under the “PART II: SITUATIONS AND ASSUMPTIONS” Section that starts on Page 12.
As you can see, the Plan recognizes the difficult task on the 'Situations' page.
The next part of this Section is the “Assumptions” page; which starts on the famous ‘pg 13’ and runs to page 15. A good read of it does not indicate that the Governor is responsible for what the “Assumptions” are; a good read of the entire page looks like what would happen in a perfect world.
Read them, and ask yourself; is this a description of what the Governor was “Supposed” to do; or is it what was “Hoped” could be accomplished with the resources at hand. Paragraph 8 and Paragraph 11 sure don’t look like things the Governor has much control over how people will act. And many of these Paragraphs seem to reflect wishes not orders. ...
The “Actual” Evacuation part starts on page 16. It is broken down into Precautionary / Voluntary Evacuation, Recommended Evacuation and Mandatory Evacuation sections. And each one of those sections is broken down to what the Risk Area Parishes, Host Area Parishes and the State of Louisiana is responsible for.
The Mayor of New Orleans and the Governor of Louisiana will be judged on how they followed the steps outlined for each of them. We know the Mayor utilized Municipal Buses to move people to the Superdome; and that act alone probably saved many. Had he sent people far out of town on city buses; not as many people would have been evacuated from the areas that were actually flooded. The Superdome may have been uncomfortable because the Feds dropped the ball on getting aid to them early; but the Mayor ensured that most survived.
And nowhere in the Evacuation Procedures do I see the words “School Buses,” or even School for that matter. What do people who make ‘ass-umptions’ do?
Subject: Re: Wednesday Headlines on BuzzFlash.com
Even Bill O'Reilly on Fox is saying that FEMA and the President dropped the ball and owe the American people an accounting! Air America is calling for impeachment proceedings: negligent homicide, it said today, should qualify as a crime if Clinton lying to his wife qualified as "high crime or misdemeanor"....
In regards to the "ROTWEILLER with the beautiful mind" who gave birth to a litter of "PIT BULL PUPS"..........When in Houston....her "CHUCKLING COMMENTS" reminded me of a "PLANTATION SLAVE MASTER" talking about her slaves......DISGUSTING........ I just wanted to add that......Thanks, Buzz.
Subject: just kill them?
so what are they going to do if people refuse to leave, shoot them? those who don't have guns to fight off the police, are they gonna drag them out causing heart attacks and strokes? oh that's gonna look good around the world! i never in my life thought i would see this in america!
ps. everything bush touches has been a mess! let us not forget bin laden, the anthrax terrorist and wmd!
Subject: Remember 2004???
There were four hurricanes in the fall of 2004 (in coastal Florida). Bush, made four trips to the areas hit, incidentally, mostly white...upper class, with brother Jebbie in tow. Fast forward to 2005....Not an election year....New Orleans...one of the most historic areas in this country...the French Quarter...so many wonderful things.....but, a mostly black town. Bush goes about his vacation...his speeches...and everything until the bell of his presidency hits him...and he finds that people are taking polls and everyone is on his case...and on the attack of his Homeland Security department....which has, since the election, taken under its wings.....FEMA...which has no money, the money used to escalate the war in Iraq! Already he has had Cindy Sheehan questioning his lack of respect for this country along with many of the people who agree with her! How can anyone overlook this? (Gov. Blanco called for help on the 26th.of Aug, it is on FEMA's web site!! HOW?? It is amazing to me!
Shirley ..... St. Louis
Well, tune into Randi on Air America Radio. She is convinced, as am I, that BushCo. isn't incompetent, but intentional. It's just horrible to contemplate. But she's there for you to add to your wonderful website. Take in Talking Points Memo and see how Joseph Allbaugh is already or getting in place to give out OUR tax money to private contractors as he did in Iraq. How did that 1 billion $$ disappear? As Josh Marshall says, "one man's crisis is another man's opportunity." (about Bush) Put these things together. You start to long for incompetence, it can be fixed. Thanks for your good job.

Subject: Enough!! (forwarded to BuzzFlash)
It's got to be loud and clear: what's now taking place under the direction of FEMA in New Orleans is censorship and cover up of the most cynical stripe and it's utterly comprehensive. Usually we think of "staged event propaganda" (which Hitler and Goebbels engineered to perfection) as the creation of false and misleading events, such as the self-set Reichstag Fire or the "Polish" (really German SS troops dressed in Polish army uniforms) "attack" on Germany that gave Hitler his pretext to invade Poland and start WWII.
But it is just as powerful in the negative, when a stage is completely taken over (in this case by FEMA, which has been training specifically for this purpose)--witnesses banished or eliminated, recording equipment destroyed--and managed comprehensively to mitigate or cover a telltale and damning reality.
I have seen the "unofficial" reports that bodies are being shipped out secretly in cargo planes (leaving no room for refugees), apparently by the thousands. With FEMA in charge of the body count, those poor victims will have not only lost their lives because of the callous malfeasance and malevolence of this governing junta, but will also not even "live" as corpses to indict the miscreants. Their numbers will disappear just as the votes of millions disappeared (and reappeared as votes for Bush) in 2004.
The mainstream media must know this is happening right under its nose. It must know further that this may well be its last chance to draw the line, do its duty, and save this nation. It's time we all found out that we've all had enough.
Subject: Suspiciously yours
Call the White House and tell them to stop trying to hide the dead bodies in New Orleans. It's only a matter of time before we find out how many thousands George Bush has killed.
"Out of sight--out of mind" is a real ploy here. Forbidding media to view the flag-draped coffins returning to the US was mandated by Bush concerning his war, and now the media has been forbidden from taking photos of the dead in New Orleans.
Americans will find out how many thousands Bush killed? Hold the door Lucy, there may be another strategy in the works here. Oh, never mind... silly me... this administration would never fudge fatality counts to help take the heat off Bush, now would they?
Subject: NBC's David Gregory Dukes It Out With Scott McClellan
Give NBC's David Gregory credit. He tried. He put up a fight. He showed cahones. He did his job. And after an exhaustive back-and-forth, he actually got an answer from White House Press Secretary Scott McClellan today.
Gregory simply wanted to know if President Bush still has confidence in much-criticized FEMA Director Mike Brown, or "Brownie," as the president called him the other day when, in the midst of a federal response to Hurricane Katrina that even the president found lacking, Bush turned to Brown and said, "Brownie, you're doing a heck of a job."
McClellan tried several times to deflect Gregory, using the new Bush spin that anyone who questions the federal response to Katrina is playing the "blame game" and that now is not the time to "finger point." After all, President Bush plans to investigate himself!
But Gregory stood up for himself, insisted that McClellan not "dodge" the question, and ultimately -- huzzah -- got an answer.
BuzzFlash readers should know what spin the White House is using. Don't question us, they're saying.
Gregory deserves some kudos for sticking to his guns.
