Subject: Let's Get the Word out About the PNAC!
It dawned on me yesterday that all of Congress' dealings are nothing more than smoke and mirrors. I've known about the PNAC (The Project for a New American Century) plan for several years now and have spent countless hours trying to educate people about them.
Yesterday Joe Biden was on Face the Nation demanding that the US pull out of Iraq immediately. He knows full well that there are already permanent military bases in both Iraq and Afghanistan and we're not going anywhere. Knowing this, it's clear his remarks were all for show.
The PNAC document, Rebuilding America's Defenses: Strategy, Forces, and Resources for a New Century, was published in September of 2000. It says (among other things): The United States has for decades sought to play a more permanent role in Gulf regional security. While the unresolved conflict with Iraq provides the immediate justification, the need for a substantial American force presence in the gulf transcends the issue of the regime of Saddam Hussein.
Furthermore, the PNAC has another "revolution in military affairs" which is a program to weaponize and dominate space. This program will require much of the massive increase in funding for "defense" for which the PNAC has called. The purpose of this program is spelled out quite explicitly in a document called "Vision for 20/20" which begins with this mission statement: "The US Space Command--dominating the space dimension of military operations to protect US interests and investment." Basically, it is to dominate space to protect the commercial interests of America's elite class that, according to current projections, over $1 trillion will be required of American taxpayers. This document doesn't say anything about using the space weapon program to promote democracy, it says, in fact, "The globalization of the world economy ... will continue with a widening between the haves and the have nots." In other words as America's domination of the world economy increases, the poor will get still poorer while the rich get still richer, and this will make the have nots hate America all the more, so we need to be able to keep them in line. We will do this through what the advocates of this program originally called "Global Space Dominance."
I'm certain that all of Congress know about these documents and the PNAC plan for the world (and us). I'm an average wage earner and probably what the PNAC would deem a "have not," as I'm in the tax bracket where I'll probably get poorer as the rich get richer.
If our US Representatives truly cared about their constituents, they'd send Bush and his PNAC buddies packing today. The fact that they all know about the PNAC and refuse to expose them tells me everything I need to know. We're in deep, deep trouble and there doesn't seem to be a way out unless all of America understands the neocon plan.

P.S. How come I never hear progressive radio talk about the PNAC either?
[BuzzFlash Note: The Project for a New American Century spells out various disturbing plans of the powerful neocon right-wing economic elite. We recommend browsing their site at http://www.newamericancentury.org/. Their "Statement of Principles" (1997) was signed by many luminaries in the current Bush administration. Subject: "Greatest American"
Tonight was the first and last time that I will tune in -- reason, on the panel, Ann Coulter -- Dennis Miller -- need I say more? What a farce.
Only good thing was George Bush got Booed.
Subject: Another Crock of Lies by the Führer
NOTE: Please excuse some of the harsh language but I can't take it any more from this man.
How much longer are the American people going to stand for this c**p from this blooming idiot? Here's a few excerpts from his radio address Saturday, June 18th, 2005.
This man is a total a$$hole and a lying ba**ard.
Here's what he said.
"We went to war because we were attacked, and we are at war today because there are still people out there who want to harm our country and hurt our citizens," Bush said Saturday in his weekly radio address.
This is true, IN PART. After 9/11 we retaliated against Osama Bin Laden, and Al Qaeda, the person, and people who perpetrated the attack on 9/11. We attacked them in AFGHANISTAN, the right place, the right time. We stopped cold however, when the job was NOT COMPLETED ... and Bush diverted almost everything to Iraq, where he, IMO, wanted to fulfill his vendetta, a personal one, against Saddam Hussein.
With his words from yesterday, once again he is deceiving, misleading the American people and telling HALF truths, knowing that a good portion of the American people haven't got half a brain to figure the truth out. Those people, with half a brain, are his backers.
Then he said, "Some may disagree with my decision to remove Saddam Hussein from power, but all of us can agree that the world's terrorists have now made Iraq a central front in the war on terror."
Once again Bush proves he is a total jerk. Yes Mister Bush, we can all agree that YOU, and only YOU, have turned Iraq into a terrorist nation. You dumb f**k.
"Our troops are fighting these terrorists in Iraq so you will not have to face them here at home."
You are a total a$$hole Bush. Keep saying it and of course, you will convince the ignorant Americans who still believe you ... your voter base, the bubbas, the skinheads, the KKK ... and the radical religious right ...
Bush said, "By making their stand in Iraq, the terrorists have made Iraq a vital test for the future security of our country and the free world."
You are a damned liar Mister Bush. The only test is whether you have the intelligence to spell your own name, you ***kin' druggie, alcoholic, AWOL ba***rd.
[BuzzFlash Note: We feel your pain ... but next time don't make us come up with all those asterisks.]
To the Democratic "leadership:"
Listen, and listen tight. The time for "civility" is over. The time for "seeing the other fellow's point of view" is over; compromising with evil is no longer an option. The Bush/Cheney administration must be fought tooth and nail, day and night. There is only one acceptable outcome: George W. Bush and and the entire nest of poisonous serpents around him in orange jumpsuits in Camp X-Ray at the Gitmo Hotel, preferably for an "indefinite" period of time.
Howard Dean I can trust. John Conyers, Henry Waxman, Robert Byrd and other honorable men and women in Congress and elsewhere I can trust. But if anybody lets any one of the Bush Crime Family slither their way out of justice for reason of "national security" or "healing the nation" or just plain spinelessness ... just remember, we've "got a little list" and you won't be missed.
A suggestion: Starting this day let's petition the World Court to have George W. Bush, President of the United States, et al., tried in absentia as war criminals and for other crimes against humanity. With the Republican three-piece suit jackboots running Congress, you know in your heart he will never be impeached. Direct action begins now. To paraphrase Camus: In a world of victims and executioners, it is the duty of thinking persons not to be on the side of the executioners.
Stanley R. Day
No one is asking some obvious questions about our stated goal of training and equipping 270,000 Iraqis as troops.
[Rummy in Wonderland] (Newsday)
Let's pretend it's possible. Okay, and then? just how long before these quarter-million well-equipped and well-trained Iraqis suddenly remember they hate armed foreigners running their country, and notice we've established "permanent" bases there?
Will it then be the time to remove our troops? And by then will the cost to us be greater or less than leaving today?
Subject: Porter Goss Claims He Has Idea Where Bin Laden Is
Porter Goss, Bush's "Intelligence Czar," says he knows where Osama bin Laden is, but he's not saying right now. I know where he's hiding. Or should I say I know where Porter Goss thinks he's hiding. It's hardly a secret when you know how the Bush Cult thinks.
Porter Goss thinks bin Laden is hiding in Iran.
Why? How do I know this?
It's simple. Bush is in the process of putting together an invasion of Iran for the 2006 mid term elections (wag the dog) to distract the people again from the gutting of America by the Corporate/Dominion alliance. So in order to help justify this coming war they will need to put bin Laden in Iran. So that's where he is.
The way the intelligence community works in this administration is that the President tells them what he wants reality to be and then they go out and fabricate the story that supports the president's fiction.
Porter Goss is under orders from Bush to find bin Laden in Iran, so that's where he will be. By the time next summer rolls around, Osama bin Laden will have been discovered to be secretly in control of Iran and in control of their nuclear arsenal. And like Iraq, we will be required to go to war over it. I feel a draft coming.

I'm working on a new web site and wanted to give you a heads up.
Why Do Conservatives Hate America
Check out our first honoree ... Vice President Dick Cheney.
Subject: Recruitment Targets
President Bush can help the army meet its recruitment targets by persuading his two young and brave daughters, Jenna and Barbara, to enlist in the Army. He can also call upon his brothers to persuade their children to enlist.
I would appreciate it very much if you would use your estimable [web site] to ask all your readers to write to all public media requesting a public appeal to young and brave Bush twins, Barbara and Jenna Bush, to step forward and serve their country in Iraq.

Subject: Bumper Sticker
I wanted to make a bumper sticker that showed how I felt about this Administration. So I came up with this quote:"The biggest threat to this Administration is an informed public."
Subject: The Duping of a Nation!
Bush has never been honest about Iraq! The media states Bush will be spending more time “selling” his Iraq policy again. ("In my line of work you gotta keep repeating things over and over and over again for the truth to sink in, to kinda catapult the propaganda.") Why must Bush continuously defend or “sell” his policy again and again, if it is right? [Monday] morning at the press conference Bush called for transparency. This remark comes from the most secretive Administration in American history!
War and weakness (Richard A. Clarke/NY Times)
Dan Rather, Newsweek, the Downing Street Memo, the UK Eyes Only Briefs, Paul O’Neill, Joseph Wilson, Richard Clarke, Seymour Hersh, Sibel Edmonds, and many others -- time and time again the messenger gets attacked by Bush and Company while the truth reported is ignored!
The Iraq War failing, the Taliban back in an aggressive and active manner in Afghanistan, the news of all this tempered by the media, "the fix" is in again! Here come terror alerts, here come new "Operation Names." Here come captures that are emphasized but STILL have not led to the capture of Osama or al-Zarqawi! It’s time the Bush Administration "spear" and "dagger" the truth for a change!
U.S. Campaign Produces Few Convictions on Terrorism Charges (Washington Post)
The Bush White House has pressured at least two agencies recently to distort evidence and change scientific findings. The first on global warming by Phillip Cooney, who now is employed by Bush buddy Exxon! The other on the cattle grazing question, and Henry Waxman could point out quite a few more! The worst was when the White House pressured the EPA to say the air around the 9/11 site was safe, when it wasn’t!
After all this, is it a far reach to believe that Bush and the NeoCons shaped policy to mislead us into war? Is it so hard to believe John Bolton and Dick Cheney both pressured analysts to come up with answers to fit the "FIX!?" Evidence ignored tells us it was true. What is the Administration hiding about Bolton? This is NOT the first time documents were hidden or redacted!
Tom Paine once spoke of John Adams this way, but it fits George W. Bush: "It has been the political career of this man to begin with hypocrisy, proceed with arrogance and finish with contempt!"
If we started at the beginning of George W. Bush Administration and worked our way to the present day, there can be no doubt George W. Bush and his cronies have duped a nation!
Subject: Answer to "Troop Strength"
We have to remember what we are dealing with ... "60 million Americans who voted for Bush ... along with their kids ... "Seriously, does anyone think THEY are going to ACTUALLY sign up? More like those in this administration who are the total "Chicken Hawks" ... Support any conflict, but make DAMN sure you or your kids don't have to actually fight in it. Trouble is ... shame doesn't even work on these people.

Subject: Bolton Nomination
Based on the WH's comments today to the effect that they will pursue a recess appointment of Bolton in the event the Dems in the Senate block his nomination, it is very clear that this administration will do everything it takes to install this neoconderthal to this position.
Based on 'reports' out of Iran of bin Laden sightings, it is darkly apparent where this insane administration is going to try to take this country. Will there be another staged terrorist act? I do believe the signs are in place (Bush's poll numbers are in the toilet after all). There is stepped up activity on the Syrian border and now bin Laden has been conveniently resurrected just in time to pin the next 9/11 on. What better way to whip up the masses to back an all-out counterattack on the terrorist scourges?
Bolton will need to be firmly in place at the UN to cram down the neocons' message. Since forced democracy isn't going so well, what better justification for war is there than revenge? Again.
And just because the military is overextended, no worries mate: because this would be the perfect reason and timing to reinstate the draft. After which Congress can pass that bill pending to abolish the 22nd Amendment and permanently install the Bush family to the monarchy they believe they so richly deserve. (Think that the states will be required to ratify it? Nah, they'll just figure out a way to do an end run around that little technicality). Next up: the imposition of martial law and imprisonment of anyone who doesn't like the way things are going.
Sound preposterous? Everything is in place to make this happen and I'm thinking there's nothing or no one that has the power to prevent it.
Subject: Bush League Bushies
No, as long as the liars, thieves, and evil "things" are occupying the White House, we can't get the real legal winners in. So, I don't know what the answer is yet. I am working on it tho. As far as I am concerned, the Dems won the election in 2000 and 2004 and, won it legally. I will never call that "squatter" in the White House president, because I know how they got it. I am still working on a solution.
Subject: Bush Again Spouting Bullshit About the War in Iraq
Bush claims that America was forced into the war because of the terrorist attacks of September 11.
In the recent radio address to the nation, Bush states that "We went to war because we were attacked, and we are at war today because there are still people out there who want to harm our country and hurt our citizens," referring to why we went into Iraq.
Even though none of those involved in 9-11 were from Iraq and it has been proven that Saddam Hussein had no ties to Al-Qaeda, Bush continues to maintain a connection of Iraq to the attacks of 9-11.
Bush also says, "Some may disagree with my decision to remove Saddam Hussein from power, but all of us can agree that the world's terrorists have now made Iraq a central front in the war on terror."
No, I don't agree that terrorists have made Iraq the central front. Bush made Iraq the central front by invading a sovereign middle-eastern nation based on a pack of lies, which he continues to tell.
Bush continues to re-use his favorite catch-phrases when he states, "Our troops are fighting these terrorists in Iraq so you will not have to face them here at home."
The people we are fighting in Iraq are not terrorists, they are insurgents. There's a big difference. An insurgency is defined as an uprising against an established authority. In the case of Iraq, it is the people who are fighting against the political and governmental authority the U.S. put in place.
They don't want a puppet regime with America pulling the strings. They don't want us occupying their land. They don't want us destroying their cities, blowing up their schools and hospitals, killing innocent Iraqis, dumping toxic depleted-uranium everywhere - which causes sickness and death not just in the people exposed but in future generations for thousands of years.
Terrorism knows no boundaries. It can not be contained by borders, oceans, or mountains. There is no way to stop a terrorist organization from launching an attack on U.S. soil.
Sure we may have taken the fight to them, forcing members of terrorist organizations to engage in fighting away from America, but how much longer will it be before we're flanked and IED's start going off at Wal-Mart?
The longer we continue this exercise in empire building, the more enemies we are going to make, and the sooner we'll see the fight brought back to us.

Subject: How To Back a Political Opponent in a Corner
Bolton has been successfully blocked again and, to be quite honest, all these namby-pamby, cry-baby, "woe is us we are such victims of the Democrats" antics by the Republicans are quite pathetic.
Gee guys, admit it, it's not that Democrats are "obstructing" anything. You just keep making piss-poor decisions that don't garner the 60 votes you think you deserve since you're the "majority" party. But I digress to my topic.
Since Bolton has been blocked twice, there are rumblings about the Beltway that Shrubya may attempt a recess appointment. Now, I have to ask the obvious: Wouldn't a recess appointment display (yet again) the hypocrisy of the Republicans? Seriously ... "All the President's nominees deserve an up or down vote!" Bush would be an utter and complete political retard to put Bolton in as a recessional appointee and would serve as such wondrous cannon fodder for Democrats to severely lambaste him all the way through the 2006 mid-term elections.
As a side note, while it is good to see one Democrat, Sen. Biden, throw his hat in so early, I will be supporting my senator, Evan Bayh, if he decides he will run. Add Hillary as his VP and we Democrats will have that much more of a viable and straight shot back at the White House.
Subject: What To Do About Being Heard
The problem with the elections is there was no paper trail, and the problem with the media is they are shutting out opposing voices. So how to be heard? How to make it known how many of us there are?
My half-baked idea is, buy a broom. Put it in the back of your car and carry it around all the time and when people ask you why, say, I want a clean sweep in the White House, and if you do, too -- buy a broom, and carry it around.
Buy a broom if you think Bush should be impeached, and all his criminal Republican PNAC administration with him. Spread the word visibly!!
