Subject: Turn Up The Heat On Gannon's
Why did they suppress evidence that would show who helped a gay prostitute evade Secret Service background checks and gain compromising access to the President of the United States? Why are these 21 Republicans so desperate to keep "Bulldog's" secrets? Shouldn't they be answering some questions about why they don't want any questions asked?
Here are 21 posters (one tailored for each Rep) asking people to ask these questions. They include their office numbers and the numbers of major news organizations. We need to have these widely distributed -- not only in their districts -- this must become a national issue.
There are also several general GannonGate posters (plus lots on "Hot Tub Tom" DeLay) on the main page:

We need to get these messages in front
of eyeballs and get this scandal to
the tipping point.

...this headline just about says it all.
This baby was NOT brain-dead, and mother was OPPOSED to ending life support. This baby was on Medicaid--mother got NO pre-natal care. Sorry, Mom, once little Sun took his 1st breath, he was no longer a precious pre-born child, but a worthless welfare brat. No protestors--Sun died.
This gentleman may be brain-dead, there are conflicting stories. Why can't his wife find another place to take him in right-to-life Texas?
No protestors--guess you have to be able to pay to qualify for "the culture of life." This is in one city, in one month.
Could the difference in Terri Schiavo's case be that her parents are willing to pay for her care? Could it be the $1 million malpractice award I've read she received?
By the way, here's attorney Paul Premack confirming George W. Bush signed this bill into law--
"Governor Bush was required to veto or sign it before June 20, 1999 – and he returned from a campaign trip just in time to sign the bill into law." The bill text is here--
Five star hypocrisy at its finest, if you ask me.

Subject: Bush and Schiavo
Here is the text of a letter I’ve been sending to the newspapers in regard to Bush’s pandering in the Schiavo case. Can I also add one more thing to BuzzFlash readers that would not be appropriate to include in letters to editors? Republicans are scumbags. Thanks.

Ha ha ha. On This Weak Rumsfeld just said we can't put more forces in Iraq because it will just be 'more targets to shoot at.' Yesiree, it's going beautifully.

Subject: Two-Faced Flip-Flopper Mr.
Which face am I speaking to? Is it the one that allowed a mentally retarded woman to be executed while you gleefully watched; the face that is allowing 1500 U.S. soldiers to die for your Oil friends; or is it the politically compassionate, get me some sympathy (and votes) face that is Bushitting the American people in the Terri Schiavo case? Whichever; don't you think that it's time you were not so, what's the word, flip-floppy, about your ideals, assuming you have any? Remember the word? You used it on your opponent in the election.
You used other words to like "fuzzy math" in the 2000 debates with Al Gore. Only now are the American people learning about your fuzzy math math skills with the Social Security mess you've dragged us into. We already know about your reading skills; we're glad that you can actually read at a first grade level. You can joyfully kill Iraqi men women and children to protect the rights of a brain-dead woman to suffer. These are fantastic family values you espouse.
I guess that your claim to history will come in the future volumes of dictionaries and encyclopedias when someone looks up the word hypocrite and it says; "Hypocrite; Conservative political figure (now extinct) of the early 21st Century who said one thing but did another. A Republican who used word meanings, usually deceptive, to advance his party's agenda over the desires of the common people and for the advantage of a few. See "ex-president George W. Bush 2000 - 2006"; back-stabber, charlatan, fake, faker, four-flusher, fraud, poser, pretender, quack (See Frist, former Senate majority leader), swindler, trickster, two-face, but especially Judas."
Our left behind president. So when you talk to the American people, Mr. Bush, just which face is talking?
Subject: Persistent Vegetative State
Isn't it ironic that Bushco wants to feed Terri Schiavo for political
gain and wants to starve his brain-dead Christian "base"
with more tax cuts and wealth redistribution?

mercury and autism
This US News and World Report link has further links to the abstracts
of the medical articles it mentions. The paper from Pediatrics was
a scientific review of many studies. It's an open scientific question
about whether the prevalence of autism is actually increasing or
whether the reported increase is the result of better diagnosis
and changing definitions.
The contributor should be aware of this danger and make sure her
son is promptly treated with tetanus toxoid if he gets a deep wound
such as a puncture. Hepatitis B is so-called 'serum' hepatitis -
spread by blood products and bodily fluids. Chronic infection can
lead to cirrhosis of the liver, liver cancer, and a shortened life
span. (source for all this information is the "Control of Communicable

Subject: The Right To Life
More complex because there are many more variables involved in the Schiavo case which must be addressed in order to arrive at a decision based on all the facts. For instance, the Schiavo case fails to question the motives of cur own Taliban moralists who show no shame in their hypocrisy between word and deed. These fakers and false prophets of American fascism – these frauds who two years ago deceived the beacon of liberty and justice into waging war in complete disregard for human life not constrained by a vegetative state. How dare these war criminals and true believers in false idols claim the moral higher ground on the mass graves of collateral damage?
And how does a man, George Bush for example, choke on a pretzel but not on the words: “those who live at the mercy of others deserve our special care and concern”?
And when “felon to be” Tom DeLay (an exterminator in Texas by trade – albeit insects – technically it is still life) cries that removing Schiavo’s feeding tube amounted to “barbarism” he should be reminded that his president executed more people as the governor of Texas than any other governor in the country. When the executioner mocked the existence of those he condemned to death with a smirk i.e. the born again carla fay tucker - that is Barbarism.
In Orwellian double speak half the country refers to it today as “compassionate conservative.” The issue is framed in terms of: does Terri Schiavo’s husband have the right to have his wife’s feeding tube removed or do his parents have the right to keep her alive – in her vegetative state? The former is based on the acceptance of Michael Schiavo’s claim that his wife would not want to be on life support if she were in a vegetative state. The former is based on the faith of her parents who believe in a religion where miracles do happen.
The goal is to keep the nation divided in order for this government which represents the few to conquer more power from the many and in the process become more tyrannical by executive fiat without judicial restraint. The legal implications are such that Michael Schiavo’s case is based on accepted law reflected in court decisions already made in this case. Meanwhile, the parents, perhaps out of desperation have accepted the support of members of the congress who are now trying to create legislation to reinstall the feeding tube.
Should these religious zealots who show no shame in their hypocrisy prevail; the government will deny the right of the individual to die with dignity. The real question arises when you put yourself in Terri Schiavo’s place – and ask yourself if you would you want to remain in a vegetative state for the rest of your days on this planet.
Would you want this or any other government to decide your fate?
Unfortunately such a hypothetical question wouldn’t be worth asking
those sanctimonious scoundrels who suffer from terminal righteousness
because an acceptable response would require a level of honesty
beyond the simian grasp of the blood-stained hands of our modern
day moralists. The unavoidable conclusion is that there is no "
right to life" if the government decides how that life will

Subject: Playing God with Terri Schiavo
I have three concerns about the Terri Schiavo story being played out in the news and now going before Congress.
My first concern is the fact that it seems to me it is her doctors who should be determining whether or not she is actually brain dead, not just brain damaged, and, in concert with her husband, making the decision as to what to do. I have read about this in several newspapers, watched stories on CNN, Lehrer NewsHour and other network programs. These news outlets parade debating emotional family members, attorneys, medical and legal ethicists, and legislators in front of us - no where have I seen her doctors or other doctors who are familiar with her case interviewed or consulted. It seems outrageous to me that the most important experts in a case like this, doctors themselves, are not being consulted, interviewed or listened to.
My second concern has to do with the word games being played. Is Terri brain dead or brain damaged? I first heard that she was brain dead. Since that time, I have noticed that the news outlets and her family have all referred to her as brain damaged. There is a big difference between the two, particularly in the way the public perceives the case based on what it is called. Brain dead means Terri is basically no longer here and could not improve; brain damaged implies that she could get better, could benefit from therapy and could lead some sort of quality of life as a disabled person. Brain dead implies that to let the rest of her die would be a merciful act; brain damaged implies that to remove her feeding tube would be the murder of a disabled person. Which is it, and why is this not a primary topic in the reporting of this story?
My third concern has to do with the fact that politicians are playing politics and God with the life of this woman. How ironic for them to say that the hospital and her husband do not have the right to play God. In point of fact, if God has anything to do with this, one could argue that God is trying to take Terri, and that the act of feeding her through a tube is a man-made artificial attempt to keep her alive and out of God's hands - contrary to the neo-con and parents' contention that removing the tube is against God's will. One could make equal arguments that any attempt to keep a human alive is pro-God or against-God; therefore, any such decision needs to be between doctors and the person him/herself - and God and politicians left out of it.
