Subject: Thank you, Senator Boxer

Sometimes, it only takes one brave soul to cause others who are wavering to come to the light. This happened in Birmingham, when we shut down the evil segregation laws. It will happen in our country or our species may disappear in that nuclear cloud, Sleezie Rice killed 1400 of our children by threatening us with.

I prefer people with imagination: dictators, serial killers, skinheads, sociopaths, assassins. To me, these are the interesting people. To get its edge back, I think what America really needs is more evil. Intense, unalloyed, concentrated evil. -- George Carlin

Subject: laughing at the poor

I was horrified to read about the joke that was made at one of the Inaugural Balls last week in Washington about the poor losing the war on poverty. At the same time I was a delegate to the convention of my Episcopal church here in North Carolina and was equally appalled at the comment of one of the other delegates from my church. His comment was that the problem with liberals was that they wanted to include everyone at the table. Later this same delegate told me that his wife never wanted to volunteer because she didn't enjoy it and would rather be her own boss. It seems to me that the problem with many Repugs is that they are not interested in the point of view or problems of anyone who disagrees with them. It reminds me of the comment overheard in France in the 1780's when someone said that the poor had no bread: Let them all eat cake! And we know what happened soon afterwards!

Subject: THE ABC's OF BUSH: ARROGANCE,  BIG THINGS, CREDITABILITY??

This morning George W. Bush held a press conference. His overall arrogant message can be summed up easily by what he seemed to be saying, MY VISION WILL BE YOUR VISION! Bush pursued his righteous rule on all issues, as he discussed his second term agenda! Bush's continuous defense of the Iraq Quagmire, by itself, leaves him open to more and more doubt and criticism by the American people!

Before we went to war in Iraq, Bush and his Administration used many shifting justifications to invade Iraq. His pre-war "misinformation" is still difficult to stomach! The Iraq elections were touted as a "preemptive" turning point in Iraq! Today, that excuse is shifting to a somewhat diminished, "just the fact that we are having these elections, we are successful!"

Today, the horrific death count of our soldiers topped 1400, with 42 deaths in just the last couple days. Also, the Iraqi death count, though not mentioned by the news media, is in the hundreds of thousands now. Bush claims, "it is worth the political price to do BIG THINGS!" Every day more and more Americans are aware of the high cost of this war, and are disagreeing with him! Needless to say, the deaths of all the Iraqis and the destruction of their homes and cities has done little in winning the hearts and minds of the Iraqi people. The majority still want us out of their country and their lives!

Bush arrogantly tells us he is, "moving forward with HIS goals!" The news media today, in discussing the dissent in Congress, talked about disagreements the Senators have with the Iraq War. This is true, however, one of the largest points that the press does not mention, is that the Senators were also trying to get across the point that this Administration, is ETHICALLY challenged, and though the press can't seem to say the words, Bush, Rice, Cheney, Rumsfeld and others, "LIED!"

Mr. Bush, your goals, are becoming less and less OUR goals! Many of us agree that, "Firmly planting the flag of Liberty in the name of Peace," does not include installing puppet governments in YOUR name, invading Sovereign Nations, without real cause, and firmly standing on their throats to promote your way of thinking!

...I am beginning to feel more and more in listening to George Bush, that I should be saluting and saying "HEIL!" Mr. Bush cannot achieve stature in the world or with the American people with his attitude of, "My way or no way!" One of the most apt descriptions of Mr. Bush was revealed in a quote by Wendell Berry, American poet and essayist, when he said, "There are some things the arrogant mind does not see; it is blinded by its vision of what it desires!"

This appeared in BuzzFlash today. It should appear other places...lots of other places. Please take a few minutes to send it to anyone you can think of: newspapers, commentators, reporters, TV news. If enough of us do this, the word will get out. I have already sent this to people at the Washington Post and the NY Times. Here it is; just cut and paste, add your own introduction and contact information:

According to Gary Ott, who was then a reporter for the Plainview Daily Herald, Bush stopped by the paper’s little office "maybe five or six times. He’d sit down at my desk; he was a fun guy. He was very outgoing, very friendly, and we would argue politics since I was a liberal. We’d argue over Carter policies." Bush criticized energy policy, federal land use policy, subsidized housing, and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration ("a misuse of power," he said), and he warned that Social Security would go bust in ten years unless people were given a chance to invest the money themselves....

Subject: coronation speech

Well Buzz,

I haven't written in a while, but am still a loyal BuzzFlash reader, and visit several times a day.

I have been following a few blogs after Junior's speech the other night. One of the funniest things I have read is one blogger referring to the speech as the "Give them liberty or give them death speech." I have chuckled about that several times since first reading it, and thought I would pass it on. Roll on Buzz.

Subject: Don't pay

Hit these bastards in the pocket book. I have read suggestions about not buying from corporations that support the neo-cons, this administration. That's too difficult to do. too hard to identify and very few people will do it anyway. I suggest that we not pay as many bills as we can, especially credit card bills for two months, starting February 1st. We protest, march, hollow, scream. But the corporate president and media ignore us totally. Don't pay the bills for a few months and maybe the corporations will have to worry about their budget and not have enough on hand to support the media and their selected politicians as much as they'd wish. Stop the money flow, stop the influence. They (politicians) won't do it, and let's face it, there is too much money and greed involved. Let's take it out of their hands. Our country is more important than a good credit report. If enough of us do it, the creditors can't afford to write all of us off. STARTING FEBRUARY 1st. IF YOU ARE WORRIED ABOUT YOUR CREDIT, THEN JUST HOW IMPORTANT IS OUR COUNTRY TO YOU.

The Senators should have voted no on Condi Rice. The mess that we are in now in Iraq is terrible. G. Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld and C.Rice are responsible for this mess, too. More Senators should have voted no.

I sure as hell didn't see the word "Corporation" with regard to every individual's inalienable right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. The word "Stockholders" isn't in there, either.

Subject: It's A Big Job But Somebody Has Got To Do It . . .

BuzzFlash,

It seems that most of our Democratic Senators have outlived their usefulness to the Democratic Party . . . this was a vote to confirm someone who was to blame for the lack of security around 911 and our Senators voted for this person. And McCain is nothing more than just another politician and I wish people would see this.

He wants to be president one day, probably, and so he will go along to get along, trash real Democrats and look the other way when the tough judgments for the safety and credibility of this Nation need to be made. He takes the easy way out and the Bush Republicans' way out. And, when it's time to start campaigning for the next presidency, McCain will start bashing Bush, but by then I hope all of the rats have been ordered to jump ship or the public will see this administration for what it is . . .

But, it won't be because of the so-called moderate Republicans or the so-called Democrats. No, the real crime is that it will be because of all of the deaths that people will finally start paying attention. Some hero, confirming Rice who helped to lie this Country into a war and McCain is supposed to be a protector of our military? Bah Humbug! He nothing more than another wealthy Republican and one day he thinks he might be president. Why doesn't anyone ever tell these people who spout these stupid school yard phrases, while protecting war criminals . . . who and what they really are?

Yahoo News - Senate Confirms Rice As Secretary of State

On the Senate floor Wednesday, Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., suggested Democrats are sore losers. Rice had enough votes to win confirmation, as even her Democratic critics acknowledge, McCain said

If the members of the Democratic Party want responsible representatives, then they are going to have to clean the House and the Senate. It's a big job, but somebody has to do it because we will cease to exist with these people in Congress today. In fact, the only votes that distinguish the Democrats from the Republicans today, are those that don't require a stand against this administration.

As I have said over and over again, when the Democrats do not speak out against the Bush people and their failures, they help to hide the criminal activities of this administration. They condone war. They condone failure. And, when they do this, they join the Bush administration . . .

On the same day, I see a headline that we lost 31 soldiers and these Democrats voted for Rice who is complicit with Bush in committing the crime of lying this Country into a #$%^& war. They are helping Bush to keep his head out of the water and keep him afloat. This criminal regime. If this was a Democratic administration, and the person was a perfect angel, the Republicans would still fight it and our Democrats bend over every single time. But, it's not our Democrats in Congress that get screwed . . . it's the Americans who pay out of their pockets and who pay with their lives and these people can't stand up for that, they have no business in DC as Democratic Representatives for the people. When have they ever made a stand against Bush?

I have had it with these people!!!!

Just a thought,

Thanks BuzzFlash,

Subject: THE BOY WHO CRIED WOLF and Rice

Hi BuzzFlash,

I sent this off to Senators Dodd and Lieberman:

I just saw you supporting Ms. Rice or heard your tough questions on The Senate Committee and then I heard your YES vote to confirm her.

You DID NOT support President Clinton because he "lied" about Monica. Yet, Clinton did not kill 1350+ soldiers (and climbing) with his lie. I am not letting him off the hook for what he did back then. However...Why did you SUPPORT Ms Rice's "lies" that got people "killed" and "injured for life"?

Just look at all the contradictory quotes from Ms Rice, that Senator Boxer displayed. GO READ THEM!

First we were told we had to go into Iraq because of their WMD. Then we were told the reason changed and we went into Iraq because of Saddam. Then we were told the reason changed yet again and we went into Iraq to give Iraq Democracy.

Well, WHICH REASON did you Initially VOTE "YES" for going to WAR with IRAQ?

Didn't you parents ever teach you, at a young age, about "THE BOY WHO CRIED WOLF"?

When we have another country that we have to invade - WHICH WE WILL - and President Bush, or a future President tells us WHY we have to invade, just remember all the "Flip-Flop-Flips" that Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz and Rice kept telling Congress, The News Media and The American People about WHY we needed to Invade Iraq.

WE WILL HAVE another problem in the future. WE WILL NEED the support of The American People, The Dwindling National Guard Troops and other Foreign Countries. AT THAT TIME you will see how LITTLE SUPPORT we will get, when we need it most.

How do I know we will have another problem in the future, you ask? The answer is Two UNcaught Words - - Bin Laden!!

When that happens, look at this letter and re-read it. It will be too late by then, but you will finally understand WHAT "The Boy Who Cried Wolf" teaches children; and hopefully adults and politicians.

Sincerely,

Subject: It is amazing to me how many young people have drunk the Bush Kool Aid

Dear Buzz,

It is amazing to me how many young people have drunk the Bush Kool Aid and think they will do better with Bush's "piratization" scheme for Social Security than they would do by sticking with the DEFINED BENEFIT promised by Social Security.

The game is rigged. It will never happen.

As Paul Krugman noted a few weeks back, even if the first phase of Bush's scheme would prohibit Wall Streeters from swallowing up 20 to 30 percent of one's investment for "administrative" costs, we KNOW from experience that in no time at all PRESSURE from those same Wall Street investment houses (and their alligator-shoed lobbyists) would push the government into RAISING the ceiling on allowable fees and "administrative" costs.

The people in Sweden and England are no dumber than Americans; yet in both countries "privatization" has been a disaster for too many who opted to forego the DEFINED BENEFIT of their social security plans and do their own investing.

Even if Social Security were a charitable contribution the younger generation makes to the older generation, it would still be The Right Thing to do as decent human beings; BUT Social Security is NOT a charitable contribution younger people make to older people. Social Security is an INSURANCE program, similar to an annuity, that retirees -- who have worked for FORTY years and paid taxes into the Social Security trust fund -- have BOUGHT. And they are ENTITLED TO cash that annuity in. It IS THEIR MONEY.

Subject: Matt Carmody, Washingtonville, NY, mailbag of 1/25/05

Our political party is in grave danger. We are growing farther and farther apart...due to too many of our members bowing down to the the rightwing conservatives.

Democrats cannot let this get to them. No way are we ever going to stop anyone from being confirmed in this administration...now, they are going to dismantle Social Security...just because they can (you see, we are now so outnumbered, we cannot stop anything).

On the mailbag of 1/25/05: When one Matt Carmody...railed at President Clinton and his
wife...I knew there was a great danger of our party being dismantled, too. When any
clear thinking democrat can still call him"Bubba" and speak of how he neglected this country because of his libido...I knew with people still thinking like that...we were in great danger!!

Many democrats...especially jealous men...changed their party affiliation because of Bill
Clinton. What still dismays me...is why they hated his wife, too. I know of nothing Hillary
did to this country. Or, for that matter...what great danger President Clinton did to this
country during his short time with Monica. You, see...people who talk like that, have more
credibility, just because they claim to be democrats. He spoke of never wanting "Bubba,"
nor his wife, near the White House again!!

Well, Mr. Carmody...for your information...during the Clinton years...we had surpluses,
peace, jobs...a good economy and a balanced budget. The surplus we had...has now been doubled down into a deficit. And, further...there was no talk of invading any country just for a lie...any lie! Or power...any kind of power! I do not know about any of the rest of you...but, that man scared me more than any other...because I have many right wing
relatives and friends...who bash both the Clintons...and love to blame them for what is going on in this world now. Mr. Carmody...made the direct statement that he did not want Bubba nor his wife near the white house...and especially after what President Clinton LET happen to this country because of his LIBIDO! Sorry, none of this killing in Iraq is the fault
of anyone but the blood-thirsty man in the White house, now!

Subject : Letter to Hawaii Senators and Representatives

Thirty-six more American soldiers were killed in Iraq today. Bush's inaugural address indicated that he intends to widen our war in the Middle East, not end it. Democrats must, as individuals and as a group, stand up and call for an end to the horrific carnage in Iraq and the torture and violation of basic human rights which is repeatedly occurring in "Gitmo" and other private prisons around the world.

U.S. Representative Jan Schakowsky (D-IL) today released the following statement on U.S. soldiers deployed in Iraq:

Under false pretenses, the Bush Administration took our nation to war against a country that did not pose imminent threat to our security. In Iraq today, over 1,300 U.S. soldiers and an estimated 100,000 civilians are dead. This war is costing an average of $1.6 billion taxpayer dollars every week, while the mission remains vague, the troops overstretched and under-armored, friendly Iraqis chafe at our presence and unfriendly Iraqis bomb our convoys and enclaves. Neither democracy in Iraq nor security at home has been achieved. Instead, Iraq has become, in a gruesome self-fulfilling prophecy, the ground zero for terrorism that it was not when President Bush chose to invade.

http://www.house.gov/apps/list/press...

It is imperative that the Democrats in Congress unite and speak as one voice against the horrendous outrages that are taking place in Iraq. The Bush administration's continuing bombing and strafing of homes and businesses, its condoning of torture as evidenced in the Gonzales confirmation hearings is insidiously corrupting our young soldiers and destroying our moral standing in the world.

Every Democratic representative in Congress should be rising to express his/her horror at the torture and other violations of basic human and constitutional rights which are being repeated by the Bush administration on a daily basis.

Our congressional representatives need to stand up on a daily basis and tell Congress and the world that it is wrong to hold any person for years without criminal charges being brought before a neutral magistrate. It is wrong and violat[es] our eighth amendment's prohibition of cruel and unusual punishment to permit anyone in our government to subject any person to near drowning by "water-boarding," to subject anyone to naked exposure to extremes of heat and cold, to deprive anyone of sleep through relentless repetitions of loud music and glaring lights, to subject anyone to sexual humiliations, let alone rape and sodomy. Were these same conditions imposed on captured American soldiers, we would certainly call it torture.

The American Civil Liberties Union has posted numerous documents on their website obtained from government agencies which detail the horrific treatment our government has allowed to occur during our "war against terror." These documents should be read aloud daily in Congress and investigations conducted.

We cannot allow our government to continue these practices or we will be just like the good German people who ignored the vicious practices of the Nazis in the 1930's. The failure of the German people and their elected representatives to actively protest the policies of Hitler and his cult followers facilitated Hitler's invasions of other European countries and directly contributed to the murders of well over six million people in Hitler's extermination camps.

Yesterday there were commemorations of the liberation of Auschwitz prison sixty years ago, one of a number of prisons where the Nazis gassed, tortured and exploited the labor of hundreds of thousands of their "detainees."

When will we liberate the detainees in Abu Ghraib, Gitmo, and all our other prisons in Iraq, Afghanistan, Cuba, Diego Garcia, and our "secret" prisons elsewhere in the world from the illegal practices of the Bush Administration?"

If every member rose every day that Congress is in session and read from the ACLU documents or from his or her own personal protest of the inhuman and unconstitutional practices of Bush, Rumsfeld, Gonzales, Rice and their assorted deputies in the Pentagon, CIA and FBI, perhaps enough of the Republican members of Congress would be sufficiently ashamed to vote to end these practices once and for all.

If enough Republicans did not feel sufficiently ashamed to act, then perhaps, if the proceedings of Congress were daily taken up with recitations against Bush's practices, then the Republicans might be motivated to act against the illegal practices simply in order to get their other legislation passed.

In short, the Democrats, one by one, need to conduct a daily "teach-in" on the evil practices of this administration until those practices are stopped. We should not allow another bill to be passed while the torture and violation of basic rights continues.

Bush has turned our country into a rogue, terrorist nation. We Democrats must unite and speak as one voice to stop Bush's terrorism and restore the rule of law in America.

Subject: Just say no

Since it has become clearly obvious that most Democrats have become Republicans I think it's time we malcontent progressives walk the walk and convert to Green and to hell with the Blue. Think of the possible emergence of a powerful third party in this country. I wrote to Senator Reid expressing this view while reminding him that I had no intention of ever voting for him again since he found himself fit to vote to confirm the nomination of Ms. Rice. As long as the inmates are running the asylum we're in big trouble. The tables can be turned very quietly and without a lot of fanfare. Simply go to your Voter Registrar and change your party affiliation to Green or Independent or Libertarian. And then don't vote for another Democrat unless it's one with the magnificent spirit of Barbara Boxer.

Hi Gang!

This editorial you posted from the World Peace Herald is disturbing. Here is the gist of it: The U.S. Air Force (my brethren, who should know better) are flying sorties into Iran to grid locations of Iran's defense radars. There are two things to note here. 1. Entering another country's airspace utilizing military aircraft was nearly the cause for nuclear war between Russia and the United States (see Gary Powers). 2. It is plainly obvious that there is attempt to goad the Iranians into responding, either by "lighting up" the intruding aircraft or the outright launching of a SAM at them. The Pentagon denies there are any plans to attack Iran and yet, in black and white, we see they are laying out the groundwork for them.

Scroll down in this article to the right and look at the ad that Bush is pushing. He has a nice little page where people, vulnerable to his fear mongering, can write Congress to push money into his friend's pockets. He is, once again, trying to manipulate people into thinking their medical costs are a result of medical malpractice lawsuits. A woman had both breasts removed, due to a cut happy U.S. doctor, who later discovered the woman did not have cancer. Bush figures the woman should not get more than $250,000.

Again, remember that you can go to France, very cheap during off season, have a complete medical exam for $20 by a REAL doctor RIGHT AWAY (and you won't even have to wait two months to get in just to see a Physician's Assistant AND you won't have to pay any premium).

In the meantime, PLEASE tell CONGRESS that you DO NOT want limits on medical malpractice.

Subject: Honesty and the Confirmation of Rice!

BuzzFlash,

You are doing a great service for those who want to see George Bush, His Administration and their falsehoods exposed. You keep all of us upbeat with your articles and your GREAT Titles! Thank you for your courage and honesty, sometimes sadly missing in our government!

A DEFICIT OF HONESTY! Ever since George Bush took office, {and before} we have suffered many deficits. The most obvious deficit has been brought to the forefront in the confirmation hearing of Condoleezza Rice. Dishonesty, misrepresentations, and exaggerations of George W. Bush, and his Administration have been exposed once again. Not only have they known, avoided, and misrepresented the truth, they have condoned or ignored actions based on falsehoods from the war, and many other vital issues facing the American people.

Congressmen, in the Rice confirmation, considered their own political gain and power over the legitimate interests of the people. Our nation deserves better than this kind of representation.

Thomas Jefferson warned us, "It is error alone which needs the support of the government. Truth can stand by itself!" Those supporting honesty, openness, and integrity as being qualifications in the confirmation hearing of Rice and also in our government were:

Senators Voting "Nay": Barbara Boxer, Ted Kennedy, Carl Levin, Richard Durbin, Robert Byrd, John Kerry, James Jeffords, Jack Reed, Mark Dayton, Daniel Akaka, Frank Lautenberg, Tom Harkin, Evan Bayh.

Special accolades go to Barbara Boxer for her courage and her service to her constituency. Senator Boxer stated, "I will not shrink from questioning a war that was not built on the truth!" Senator Boxer also was the [one] Senator to refuse to ratify the results of the Electoral College. Though criticized by many of her peers, she supported our right to have our votes counted and incited the ire of many lesser Senators, who didn't have the "spine"to properly represent those they serve!

Senator Biden has a way with words, too bad those words didn't extend to action. His excuses to confirm were weak and turned him from many people's hope, into their greatest disappointment.

The future new wonder of the political party, Barack Obama, turned out to be not so wonderful. Too many Democrats played the part of great advocates, but their deeds do not match their words. As for the Republican Senators, and Democrats who voted "yea," though we cannot always fault those whose opinion differs from ours, we can fault them when they are not on the side of truth, or consider it a priority in choosing the leaders in our government! George Bush and those of his ilk cannot claim the respect or support of many of us, as they seem to believe in a government that rules over the people, not for the people!

Here shall the Press the People's right maintain, Unaw'd by influence and unbrib'd by gain; Here patriot Truth her glorious precepts draw, Pledg'd to Religion, Liberty, and Law. -- Joseph Story (1779-1845): Motto of the "Salem Register"

Subject: Recipe for democracy

The Bush recipe for "democratic" elections in Iraq:

(1) Occupation by an invading foreign power

(2) No independent foreign monitoring in-country

(3) Voting rolls drawn up in the 90's by Saddam Hussein

(4) Large parts of the country unable to participate because of violence, including, perhaps, even Baghdad, pop. 5 million.

(5) Access to polling places only for those willing or able to WALK. There will be just 6,000 polling places in a country larger than California, which routinely opens about 25,000 polling places per election. Even taking population into account (25 million for Iraq and 34 million for California) the latter offers 3 times as many places to vote.

(6) 7,471 candidates, but only one with routine access to US controlled Iraqi TV - guess who?

Subject: Snarky editorializing headlines

Hillary, sounding freakishly DLC-ish, says opposing sides in abortion debate should find "common ground." What Exactly is That, Anti-Choice Extremists Should Only Blow Up Half a Planned Parenthood Clinic? 1/27

This kind of snarky editorializing demeans BuzzFlash and is offensive to readers. My time is limited and this headline suggests the article will include information on clinic bombings and that Senator Clinton [had] some type of compromise concerning bombings when the topic is not addressed in the article.

Upon reading the article, it is clear exactly what Ms. Clinton's intentions are and that her position has not changed one iota in regard to a woman's right to make decisions about her own reproductive health. What I thought Ms Clinton might be discussing was more focus on prevention of unwanted pregnancies. Since research in the area of birth control is almost non-existent, I don't find anything strange about trying to find some areas of commonality to begin discussion that might [move] us all forward on the issue. The headline is therefore quite misleading and hateful. A manufactured opportunity to take a swipe at Hillary inappropriately.

Don't we have enough of that from the wingnuts? It could have been written by Bill Morris. Do we have to forever be married to partisan division in every area? I sure hope not and most of all I hope that this kind of divisive, immature sniping at our own party representatives will not continue. Not only does it demean the author of such comments, it demeans our party and contributes ultimately to our loss as Democrats. The GOP can just use BuzzFlash comments against our own candidate in the next election cycle.

There has to be a better forum for the pro-Dean sentiments than publicly attacking other potential candidates for 2008. Earlier I saw this kind of tactic used about John Kerry and some of us are not a member of the "blindly support Dean to the exclusion of all others club" so it feels disrespectful. Sadly, it appears the Clintons and John Kerry have become members of an enemy camp. We can't win elections that way.

Personally, I won't financially support an organization that takes potshots at our team members whether they are rightwing or left. I've been a BuzzFlash reader since the beginning but I have many choices other than the rightwingers, not just BuzzFlash. Many of us are still bruised from the election loss and trying to decide how we can best put together wins, and that makes us sensitive to negativism. My energy and support will go to the group that supports the team, not just the hero.

Let's unite in support of Democratic candidates and get it together in time for the 2006 elections and now is the time to begin.

Respectfully,

Thanks for the article and [MP3 availability] Democracy Now, Seymour Hersh speaking on, "We have been taken over by a cult."

Near the end of Hersh’s speech, he tells his audience that the European nations are getting more and more enraged about what the US is doing in Iraq and very possibly will insist on the US paying their debts in Euros which will bring the US economy to its knees. Hersh says something like... If you haven’t already sold your stock and put the money into an Italian villa, you have about a year before this happens to the US economy. That is pretty scary considering the amount of Americans who have 401K funds invested. And that leads me to remember Bush’s oil company venture associated with oil Arabs. Georgie held appreciable stocks, was on the Board and was tipped by daddy that the company stocks were going to plummet. Naturally, Georgie sold his stock before it all happened.

We can all bet that if Hersh is correct, all the Bushes and their cronies will be the first to bail out of the stock market, slide the proceeds to the Gold Market, and leave the rest of the country holding the bag...which, by the way, will be empty.
