Subject: Democratic vs. GOP Presidents
Bush was forced to creep in the back door of the White House after
his 2000 selection after his limo was pelted by eggs. He was heckled
in the Parliament of Australia. He was snuck in the back door of
Buckingham Palace while his likeness was toppled by 250,000 livid
Londoners in the street out front. He was forced to meet on an offshore
island in Spain under heavy guard. Ireland required the largest
force in its history to protect him from tens of thousands of protestors.
He is contemplating not speaking before the Parliament of Canada
for fear of being publicly ridiculed once more. In Chile, nearly
thirty thousand protestors jeered him while his Secret Service got
in a fisticuffs with that nation's elite police. And these are our
allies that so hate his guts!
Wherever Clinton ventures in the world he is enthusiastically greeted
"as a cross between JFK and Elvis." JFK himself was met
by 1 million wildly excited fans in Berlin. And another million
in Frankfurt. Two million waved American flags screaming "Vive
le President!" in Paris streets. In South America, in Ireland,
Italy, Canada everywhere he traveled he was beloved, admired, and
cheered. In Pakistan and India hundreds of thousands flooded the
Ganges river in flowers, and filled streets to cheer Jackie Kennedy
when she made good will tours on the President's behalf. They called
her "Durga, Goddess of Power" and
"America's Queen." Tens of millions of citizens around
the globe gave likenesses of JFK and Jackie places of honor in their
homes. Leaders from Nehru to De Gaulle and even our enemies like
the Soviet premier professed crushes on America's First Lady.
No amount of spin will change world opinion about the vile Bush
junta. Except for his blind followers, the world's people know the
difference between genuine decency, intelligence and caring versus
a thieving, lying, mass murdering thug cartel. As Ghandi said every
brute in history gets what they deserve....and so eventually will
Napoleon Bonehead.

Subject: Vote FLIPPING, Kerry to Bush, is the answer! (As sent
to Keith Olbermann and media outlets)
Hello Keith,
I think you totally missed the most probable explanation for the
Bush win. The votes were flipped from Kerry to Bush electronically.
All of the capabilities were built into the machines to do exactly
that when they were manufactured. Why would anyone devise a system
to steal elections if they didn't plan to use it? If you want probable
cause, all the manufacturers have direct ties to the Republican
party, some of whom stated their intent to deliver the vote to President
Bush! Republicans consistently strive to suppress minority voters
by any means possible, and they are inventing new methods every
election cycle. Why???
The exit polls were NOT flawed! The disparity, or "flip flop,"
by voters in highly Democratic registered counties, is farcical!
Logical thinking would assume that the long lines of voters in highly
Democratic areas, where all types of voter suppression have now
been
"documented by sworn testimony," intended to vote for
Democrats! Furthermore, those people who endured long waits in line
because of too few voting machines tells me they were pissed at
Bush's policies and were determined to change administrations! Why
has the constant issue of Republican harassment been ignored by
the media? To name only a few, changed polling places without notifying
voters, mailings to voters that Democrats were to vote Wednesday
instead of Tuesday because of the larger than expected turn out,
mailings stating they would be arrested at the polls if they owed
child support or had outstanding warrants, etc. etc. This is Republican
strategy, pure and simple, they CANNOT WIN A FAIR ELECTION! What
is more astounding is the perpetrators of THE FRAUD AGAINST DEMOCRACY
are rewarded following the elections with "parties in their
honor" and advancement in Republican politics! I know this
for a fact!
Saul, the Judge in Florida that refused to "examine the ballots"
during the high profile trial, essentially gave Bush the State of
Florida. Katherine Harris who did all she could do as Secretary
of State "and" Bush campaign chairman in Florida to assure
Bush a Florida victory, were honored in Topeka, Kansas as "Hero
and Heroine" for their contribution to the Bush victory in
2000! Then you have Blackwell in Ohio in 2004! How much proof does
the media need to raise at least one eyebrow in concern for Voting
integrity? Every bit of proof, every insinuation, every coincidence,
every suspicious voting discrepancy shows a Bush gain and a Kerry
deficit. The circumstantial evidence is overwhelming and should,
at the very least, merit an investigation by the media, not a condemnation
of those of us that are living through this fiasco! THEY FLIPPED
THE VOTES!
Conclusion, with the exception of one, Keith Olbermann & MSNBC,
the other Media Corporate sponsors of the Bush Administration, SUCK!
Is that stated plainly enough? We have been robbed, we are being
robbed again, and the Corporate media is a willing accomplice! I
guess the campaign advertising plus the relaxation of further concentration
of media ownership by Bush supporters is a hurdle Democrats can
never hope to clear. If this problem isn't resolved now, you can
kiss Democracy in the United States, GOODBYE!
Sincerely,
Daryl D. Heslop,
Neosho Falls, Kansas
P.S. Keith keep up the good work, we still have a chance to win
for our country! We know it will not be easy, but it is a battle
we MUST WIN or the country we love will cease to exist! We didn't
fight WW II to defeat Fascism to lay down and welcome it in 2004.
The voting public needs to have at least part of the information
that people like us have "dug up." We can never educate
them without a free press doing their job. You are the
only light shining on the atrocity at the moment, I commend you
for that. We need many more, like you, to have ANY CHANCE OF SUCCESS
Subject: Why?
Why doesn't the Kerry campaign or the DNC in the face of overwhelming
evidence that the 2004 election was rigged use their $45 million+
fund and army of lawyers to fight this fraud, theft and racketeering
in court? This is about the future of western civilization and the
planet. They are failing.
Why did the oxymoronically named DLC appoint pro-gun, pro-life,
unknown what's-his-name Reid to minority whip instead of Senator
Kerry who has national name recognition, a following and a voice?
When will the positively asinine DLC get it that America doesn't
benefit from GOP-lite?
Why are Senator Leahy and other Democrats not planning to block
Bush's nomination for Attorney General when Gonzales has committed
known crimes against US and International law? When are the Democrats
in Congress going to stand together in one heroic voice?
Why do friends and family who shopped and watched "reality
TV" while I spent 18 hours a day for three years protesting,
writing letters, researching, making calls, campaigning, writing
a book, and also trying to warn them that Democracy was on life-support
while they planned to vote for Bush...now question my imminent move
to France? For them I have a one word reply: Au revoir.

Subject: Bush's Canadian trip
Your headline caught my eye! On this particular chat room I visit...because
we can discuss politics like minded...there are many Canadians.
Many of them have talked with much trepidation about Bush's visit...and
the fear of people in Canada not taking kindly to him.
From everything they say...Canadians do not like him at all...and
do not want him there. They are constantly offering us a haven if
we want to move.
For some of us....that is not an option...but they are very concerned
about their
neighbors to the South.

Subject: George W's jacket in Chile
I hope someone caught the lack of a bulge in George's jacket at
the meetings in Chile.
It looks to me like he hired a new tailor, or he was more afraid
of debating than of 25,000 protestors. Just look at the video of
the fracas with the security personnel.
Best Regards and keep up the good work,

Subject: Why The USA Must Reject Bush's Evil "Marquis de Sade"
Nominee For Attorney
General: Alberto Gonzales Wrote "Torture Memo" That Laid
Groundwork For Abu Ghraib
There are a thousand hacking at the branches of evil to one
who is
striking at the root. --Henry David Thoreau, Walden (1854)
There was a bipartisan consensus on last Sunday's televised political
talk-shows that the US Senate will confirm, with relative ease,
Mr. Bush's appointment of Alberto R. Gonzales as the next Attorney
General ("AG"). However, if our Senators retain any respect
for universal human rights and the rule of constitutional and international
law, they will vigorously oppose Mr. Gonzales' appointment as our
new AG. [1] [2] Furthermore, it's imperative that our Senators,
both left and right, defeat this unwise appointment for the
following five reasons.
1. Mr. Gonzales Knew, Or Should Have Known, That He Was Dispensing
Disastrously False Legal Advice. While functioning as Mr. Bush's
White House Counsel, Mr. Gonzales wrote his infamous "torture
memo" in August of 2002, entitled "Standards Of conduct
Form Interrogations Under 18 U.S.C. 2340-2340A." In that legally-meritless
50-page opinion, Mr. Gonzales:
(A) falsely argued that the US government's interrogators would
be legally justified in torturing -- even unto death -- war prisoners
who were captured in the USA's so-called "war on terror";
and
(B) falsely advised President Bush that his subfunction as commander-in-chief
somehow magically empowered him with the authority to (i) override
the US Constitution and the federal War Crimes Act, (ii) ignore
the Geneva Conventions and the United Nations Convention On Torture,
(iii) flout international human-rights law, and (iv) therefore authorize
those acts of torture.
"Taking his cue from the Nazis' 'führer principle,' Gonzales
posits that Bush, by virtue of
his 'commander-in-chief authority,' can authorize torture. But American
law doesn't include any such concept." [3]
2. Mr. Gonzales Has Been Egregiously Complicit In War Crimes. The
entire world knows that Mr. Gonzales' 2002 legal memorandum paved
the way for the perpetration of heinous war crimes, like the illegal
torture of war prisoners inside the US military prisons in Guantanamo
Bay, Afghanistan, and Iraq. Even worse, the Pentagon now admits
that there have been 127 recent homicides of war prisoners, of whom
at least 40 were tortured to death. [4] And according to the highly-respected
International Committee of the Red Cross, almost all of the Iraqi
prisoners who managed to survive their torture inside Abu Ghraib
prison
were released because they proved to be innocent civilian noncombatants.
[5] Hence, it's certainly possible that Mr. Gonzales could be indicted
for his complicity in war crimes under Nüremberg Principle
VII, among others. [6] [7]
3. Mr. Gonzales Has An Ominous History Of Unethical Practice. Americans
should consider themselves to have been doubly forewarned by Mr.
Gonzales' record as both a lawyer and a jurist in Texas. Before
he became Mr. Bush's White House Counsel, Mr. Gonzales: (A) represented
CEO Ken Lay's fraudulent-predator corporation, Enron; and (B) then
earned a reputation from the bench for unsound legal rulings which
contravened the rule of law and underscored his lack of common sense,
as well as for sleazy acts of corruption which violated legal ethics
and basic morality. [8]
4. Consenting To His Appointment Would Discredit The US Senate.
If the Senate foolishly rubber-stamps Mr. Gonzales' appointment
as AG, the Senators then will have proven that they're so ethically
irresponsible as to be undeserving of re-election. Moreover, they
will have heaped insult upon injury by sending this morally-depraved
message to the world:
"The United States Senate not only has condoned Mr. Gonzales'
outrageously-unjust 'torture memo' misconduct, but also has chosen
to reward it by elevating this monstrous shyster into the nation's
top law-enforcement position!"
5. We Must Avoid Unnecessarily Exacerbating Global Tensions And
Fears. Of course, the Senate's craven capitulation to an utterly-indefensible
appointment would further alienate the international community and
inflame Islamic anti-Americanism. Finally, Mr. Bush's successful
appointment of Mr. Gonzales would buttress a widely-held dystopic
theory about the USA, the main thesis of which is:
(A) that Americans are collectively suffering from a 9/11-induced
mass psychosis;
(B) which caused them to re-elect their thinly-veiled neofascist
dictator, "Reichsführer Bush"; and
(C) whose regime has been incrementally luring them down the antidemocratic
rabbit-hole, from whence the USA will emerge as the world's most
dangerous rogue state -- the "American Fourth Reich."
[9]
Overarching Conclusions: Don't be fooled by the fact that Mr. Gonzales
neither has a wicked scar under one monocle-bedecked eye, nor foams
at the mouth psychotically, nor clicks his boot-heels fascistically.
Thus far, he's slipped under the vetting radar-screen only because
he embodies the banality of evil. Nevertheless, it's all-too-clear
that he's unfit to become our nation's top law enforcement officer
because:
(1) he's really nothing more than Mr. Bush's bumbling personal
consiglieré, which is to state that he's a toadying yes-man;
and
(2) his professional history is that of a pettifogging shyster
who obviously lacks the requisite intellectual integrity, law-abiding
temperament, and ethical judgment. Hence, he must be rejected, as
in: "Fool me once, shame on Messrs. Gonzales and Bush; fool
me twice, shame on every Senator and the entire USA!"
The Bottom Line: Mr. Bush is somewhat analogous to Michael Corleone
-- the potentially-honest son who allowed himself to become a bloodthirsty
Mafia godfather in Mario Puzo's crime-family novels -- because he's
attemp[ting] to consolidate his stranglehold upon American justice
by elevating his loyal-but-sadistic scofflaw consiglieré
into the AG's office, instead of appointing an honest attorney who
has a history of upholding the rule of law; therefore, it is the
duty of every American to insist that our US Senators vigorously
oppose Alberto R. Gonzales until they've prevented this disgustingly-evil,
Marquis-de-Sade-like man from eclipsing John Ashcroft as an even
worse AG! [10]

Subject: Bush's behavior at the Clinton Library
When I finally saw the whole Clinton library event unedited this
Sunday morning on C-Span I noticed that for some reason Jimmy Carter,
of all people, rushed up from behind, went around Bush, and very
quickly got right in front of Bush almost as soon as he got out
the library door. With fast long strides he stayed in front of Bush,
too, almost deliberately it seemed. Later I read your headline with
accompanying picture about “4 yr old Bush“ shoving Clinton out of
the way so he could be the first out of the door. (I hadn’t noticed
that part). Could it be that wise, shrewd Carter, standing right
there, had seen and recognized what Bush did to Clinton? Carter’s
curious behavior would then make sense after seeing your picture.
It was like Carter was essentially saying to little Bush, “Oh, no
you don’t!” Hee Hee Hee Hee.

Subject: Why?
That's really the Only Question.
Mr. Bush and his cartel tried to obstruct that question when they
built their false premises for beginning this war. They knew we
would want to know Why. And they've tried their damndest to divert
our attention from the horrific photos of the dead children and
the
mangled civilians and the crushed soldiers. They don't even allow
the families to greet the coffins of their dead sons and daughters
as they arrive back home to the America they loved, fought and died
for.
Mr. Bush won't allow the coffins to be viewed, because he doesn't
want the parents and brothers and sisters of those dead soldiers
to ask Why. Why did my son die? Why did you send my precious child
to give her life for your cause? Why have you destroyed our family?
Likewise, Mr. Bush doesn't want journalists to ask Why. In the beginning
of his disastrous administration, he ensured the press corps' acquiescence
by using fear and intimidation tactics to stifle the reporters questions.
Now, after his supposed reelection, he uses his "political
capital" to guarantee their continuing cowardice by restricting
them to One Question Only during his rare "press conferences."
Mr. Bush calls this restriction his "mandate," and the
"will of the people."
Since the reporters have One Question Only, they obviously should
just ask: "Mr. President. Why?"
Of course, since Mr. Bush and his minions work over time to prevent
the asking of even this One question, there is no reason to believe
he would actually deign to answer it. That is because the Answer
to the question "Why?" does not exist.
There is no reason for this war, this senseless, hellish murder
of human beings. No principal of democracy, no political ideology,
no moral cause can justify the fact that Mr. Bush has consciously
chosen to drop bombs onto homes, and mosques, and...my God...hospitals.
There is no reason Why 100,000 people who never harmed or threatened
us have died at the bloody hands of Mr. Bush and his war machine.
Mr. Bush considers himself a man of faith, a man of compassion.
But he is no benevolent peace maker, as someone who is truly acting
as God's instrument would be. He is nothing more than a War Lord.
And Mr. Bush's followers, who say they worship God and Protect Life
and Guard Sanctity...I think I'll call them 'warshippers'....they
'warship' their God of Destruction and Death, their Prince of War,
George W. Bush. Not GOD, But GOP.
We can expect nothing from these people in answer to The Only Question.
Why?
And we, the Peaceful, will never find an answer. We can only give
of ourselves to those we've harmed so ruthlessly, thoughtlessly,
carelessly. We've allowed this to happen.
We can't ask Why any longer. We must begin to ask How. How to stop
it, and How to help heal what we have done.

Someone should do a chart showing security costs for former presidents,
compared with George Bush, our Insulated-in-Chief. Only a person
extremely afraid and expecting the worst, would go to these extraordinary
extremes.
About 15,000 Colombian security forces, backed by combat helicopters,
radars on the lookout for hostile planes or missiles, and submarines
and battleships prowling the waters, were deployed to protect the

A BuzzFlash Reader
Subject: Sound like anyone you know?
Dear BuzzFlash:
I was looking for the exact definition of "megalomania,"
not wanting to charge Bush with a false charge, but on the way I found
a definition for almost the entirety of Banana Republic America...
Narcissism is the pattern of traits and behaviors which involve
infatuation and obsession with one's self to the exclusion of
others and the egotistic and ruthless pursuit of one's gratification,
dominance and ambition.
On the outside, a narcissist appears to have higher than average
self-esteem. Paradoxically, the narcissist's self-esteem is lower.
For the narcissist, self-worth comes from the belief that he/she
is superior to his/her peers; it is not enough to be "okay"
or "pretty good," the narcissist can only feel worthwhile
by being the best....In addition to fragile, exaggerated self-esteem,
narcissists are also characterized by a lack of empathy, that
is, a lack of sensitivity to the feelings of others. These traits
are present in most people to some degree but severe narcissism
may warrant a diagnosis of narcissistic personality disorder.
Reading further down the page, I finally got to Bush:
He feels that he is omnipotent and misjudges his power and the
power of his opponents and opposition. He underestimates challenges
facing him and pretends to be "Mr. Know-All." His sensitivity
to the needs and emotions of others and his ability to empathize
with them deteriorates sharply. He becomes intolerably haughty
and arrogant, with sadistic and paranoid tendencies. Above all,
he then seeks unconditional admiration, even when he does not
deserve it....
I'm still looking for a detailed definition of megalomaniac and
will let you know when I find it. Thanks for your time.
