Subject: Brit Hume tastes his toes, doesn't know it

So, a few minutes ago I put FOX on for a moment of humor, and Brit Hume is seriously intoning the "news."

The poor dumb bastard says that a new MoveOn ad featuring an AK-47 is false because "the weapon has been banned since 1934" and still is, etc. I did a double take and rewound to make sure.

I sure hope the echo chamber picks this up without thinking as usual, and gets hysterical on cue.

Subject: CBS is out-Foxing the conservatives

CBS says the information is correct in the memos even if there is a problem with provenance, and has proven it through the Secretary Knox.

Fox claims the information in the Niger docs is correct even if there is a problem with provenance.

Yet CBS is the only one that has to do an internal review of their reporting?

Fox convinced American judges and an American court that it was their right to lie and/or determine how to present the news, including reporting the opinions of some experts while leaving out those of others.

If CBS is Out-Foxing the conservatives, more power to them . . . because it is in service of the truth about Bush's guard record.

Subject: Dan Rather

Hi,

I just had to comment on the whole Dan Rather fiasco going on right now. I am amazed that a country that is currently engaged in a war (where people die) based on bad intelligence thinks the President should be re-elected, but a reporter (who has the facts correct, with or without the documents) should be fired because of bad intelligence.  He's just a reporter, he didn't send us to war or have anyone removed from power.

I hope that they get off Dan Rather's back.  We all know that W's records from his party days would never come out, at least Dan Rather tried.  In this time of classified documents & FOX news, it's nice to have someone stick his neck out for the truth.

Sincerely,

Kaye LaForce

Subject:  Hastert says Osama wants Kerry to win the election

Why would Osama want that?  The only time Bush has hunted for him in the last two years was when he riotously, with hilarious side-splitting humor, poked fun at himself in a video in which he looked for some terrorist under the furniture in the Oval Office.

Why would Osama want to replace the man who doesn't ever go after him?  As long as Bush is President Osama is quite safe.

Subject: bush misspeak from wash post

Slip of the Tongue

In Derry, Bush was talking about the situation in Iraq, which critics say he is sugarcoating.

"It's tough as heck in Iraq right now because people are trying to stop democracy," he said. "That's what you're seeing. And Iraqis are losing lives, and so are some of our soldiers. And it breaks my heart
to see the loss of innocent life and to see brave troops in combat lose their life. It just breaks my heart. But I understand what's going on. These people are trying to shake the will of the Iraqi citizens, and they want us to leave. That's what they want us to do."

Then, he said: "And I think the world would be better off if we did leave." Pause. "If we didn't -- if we left, the world would be worse," he corrected himself.

Subject: Joe Lockhart should volunteer to do lie detector when Karl Rove does too!

Joe Lockhart should volunteer to take a lie detector test concerning the true lie memos...but only if Karl Rove will take one concerning the same thing.  You know Karl's hands are all over this sting.  How else would the forgery allegation be so quick to see light of day?  They were waiting to set everything in motion.  Bloggers, bloggers.  This is an orchestrated dirty trick from Rove if ever there was one.

Senator Kerry is doing very well now. Keep up the good work. I enjoy seeing him fight back. He shouldn't leave any stone left unturned.

2)  Will America be better off 4 years from now if this administration is still in power?

Subject: Connect The Dots With 2000's DebateGate and 2004's RatherGate

Hi Buzz/Flash,

Remember Debate-Gate, where a Bush's Media Consultant mailed a tape of Bush practicing his debate techniques in 2000 to Gore?  This was to make it seem as if Gore had broken into Bush's Office, to see what Bush was going to say in the debates?

This CBS/Bush Military Record Scam has the same smell to it.  This time "Karl Rove Inc" has "Dan Rather" as the "Al Gore" Target.

Why?  To FOCUS The Media's Attention Off of Kerry, Off of The Economy AND
Off of The War.  Think about it.

And WHY Doesn't ANY NETWORK DEMAND BUSH's REAL RECORDS?  Or have they all
been FOXated? Seems like that is the case, as "Orwell Rolls In His Grave" proves.

My Father, who is a WWII Vet, was able to REQUEST and get ALL of his records, 60 YEARS after the war!!!

Go Figure!!  We're still waiting Bush!!

Subject: How to sort out the truth

This evening on ABC World News Tonight they showed a clip of President Bush saying that Kerry supported keeping Saddam in power.

Then ABC showed a clip of what Senator Kerry had actually said.

After showing what Kerry really said, Peter Jennings said something like, now that is what Senator Kerry actually said, you can sort out the truth for yourself.

It's that simple guys.

A system of government that exercises a dictatorship of the extreme right, typically through the merging of state and business leadership, together with belligerent nationalism.  - - Fascism as defined in The American Heritage Dictionary ( in Maureen Farrell)

...He also told the gathering he was proposing a “democracy fund” within the United Nations which he said would help countries lay the foundations of democracy by instituting the rule of law, independent courts, a free press, political parties and trade unions...

and, of course, a FOX News Bureau.

Wish the so called mainstream media understands what is at stake and puts the interests of the country before theirs!.  Keep up the good work.  God bless.

Subject: Thank you, Maureen Farrell...

Dear Maureen/BuzzFlash,

For years, I've felt that many Americans are "dangerously patriotic," but that phrase somehow never sounded right, because at heart I don't believe a deep love for your country is inherently bad or dangerous.

One sentence in your article, "When Fascism Comes to America," suddenly cleared- up all my fuzzy-headed doubts:

Defining fascism as "A system of government that exercises a dictatorship of the extreme right, typically through the merging of state and business leadership, together with belligerent nationalism," American Heritage appeared to be forecasting our current political climate.
Belligerent nationalism = Fascism.

Thank you, Maureen Farrell. I knew my instincts were not far off.

Best regards,

Subject: Latest Harris Poll Shows Bush at Lowest Approval Rating

Hi BuzzFlash,

This latest poll [September 17] seems to be totally ignored by the media. I think it is quite important, especially before an election. I have sent the link to MSNBC and CNN, and I am waiting to see if they have the fairness to refer to it.
