Subject: Disrespect for Decorated Veterans
I already know your agenda and I don't believe one bit of your crap. By questioning the Purple Heart and Bronze Star awarded Senator John Kerry, you are questioning the Purple Hearts and Bronze Stars awarded EVERY Veteran in the history of our nation. How disrespectful can anyone get to tarnish the decorations of ALL our Veterans. Your group is a disgrace to all Veterans from every war this nation fought. I sincerely hope all of you get your just desserts.
While John Kerry was in a combat zone, George Bush was safe within our borders pretending to serve his country. As a matter of fact, Bush is technically a Deserter with his absence from duty that still cannot be accounted for. And we all know what punishment desertion holds in time of war.
So quit disrespecting us Veterans and being traitors to every Veteran that was awarded a Purple Heart of Bronze Star. You should be ashamed of yourselves.
Subject: Why "compassionate Conservative" means nothing.
In the primaries, Gert Clark mentioned that if conservatives were so "compassionate," why did they have to put the word "compassionate" in front of the word conservative?
Well, what I say is this. Proverbs 12:10 in the bible says "the righteous man has regard for the life of his beast, But the compassion of the wicked is cruel."
I think Bush is wicked and has the cruel "compassion" of a wicked man. The bible shows that those like Bush have what they think is "compassion" and it is actually cruelty. Isn't Bush the one who blew up frogs with firecrackers just for fun? Our country, under Bush, supports cruelty of creatures, human and non-human, who are helpless victims.

Subject: Lies and half-truths
Every night on my local television news broadcast, I and millions of viewers are subjected to the half-truths and innuendo from Mark Hyman of Sinclair Broadcasting in a one-minute commentary called "The Point". His subjects are mainly criticisms of anyone opposing George Bush and the Republican agenda.
Last night, Mark Hyman called John Kerry "unpatriotic" and basically stated that John Kerry collaborated with communist organizations during the Vietnam War. With a dead-pan face, he spins half-truths and innuendo as fact.
Sinclair Broadcasting owns television and radio stations across the country and Mark Hyman's commentaries are seen and heard nightly in many battleground states.
BuzzFlash needs to expose Mark Hyman for what he is - a shill for George Bush and the Republicans.
Here is a transcript Hyman's commentary criticizing John Kerry's patriotism.

GW BUSH, THE FIRST PRESIDENT SINCE HOOVER TO LOSE JOBS ON HIS WATCH!
Pass it on!

George Bush had his chance to look like a class act. He could have taken Mr. McCain's advice and denounced that horrible ad, but he chose to take the low road. We are not surprised.
Subject: Softening up New York, 2004
Suddenly, the temperature rises on the Terror Alert Color Chart.
Suddenly, our allies "everywhere" are delivering High-Value Suspects.
Suddenly, our law enforcers in our major cities foil terror plots brewing, through pre-emptive initiatives: sting operations with FBI agents posing as prospective terrorists.
All, hours after John Kerry accepts the Democratic nomination.
All, in the days leading up to the Republican landing in New York.
All, from the office of field marshall Rove.

A real man, and honest man would have come in front of the american people 4 years ago and said all those things the bush hit squad was throwing out about mccain was not true! Gw did not do that. 4 years later he is still not a real man or an honest man!

Subject: Swift Boat Vets
Media Matters has a lot of background information on the people behind the new Swift Boat Vets book/ad:
Also of note, John McCain has condemned the ad and says the White House should too.
Subject: Regarding Katherine Harris's most recent lie
Thank you, again, for keeping me informed about the misdeeds of the GOP. Here is a copy of the email I sent to Katherine Harris regarding her most recent lie to the public:
You recently gave a speech in Venice, Florida regarding terrorism. In that speech, you made the claim that the Mayor of Carmel, Indiana had a conversation with you in which he discussed a thwarted terrorist plot to blow up a power grid in Hamilton County, Indiana. Here are some of the comments from officials in the city of Carmel:
City officials in Carmel said they know of no such plot.
"We're aware of the comments we read in the paper," said Tim Green, assistant chief of police in Carmel, a town about 10 miles north of Indianapolis. "We're not aware of any plans to blow up Carmel's power grid."
Nancy Heck, a spokeswoman for Carmel Mayor Jim Brainard, said, "The mayor never talked to Katherine Harris. They never had that conversation."
The next day, you issued the following statement: "I regret that I had no knowledge of the sensitive nature of this situation."
If you had no knowledge, why did you make the statement? You told a bold-face lie to the public and got caught. I am not a resident of Florida; however, I am a resident of Indiana as well as a registered Democrat voter. Stop using fear as a means of pushing your rightwing, neocon agenda. Since you helped George W. Bush steal the 2000 Presidential election, you have had absolutely no credibility, and your recent statements prove you are not to be trusted because you openly lie to the public. I am so glad that your name will not be on my ballot.

Subject: Possible GOP Hypocrites of the Week
Here's a nominee for your weekly GOP hypocrite competition: Citizens United, (the uber-conservative group headed by discredited hack David Bossie)which you may remember attempted to use campaign finance reform laws to block advertising of Fahrenheit 9/11, is now trying to sidestep those very laws to promote their Anti-Kerry screed. They're asking that the FEC exempt them, and classify them as, get this, newsmedia. Stunning. Its a hypocrisy/shameless lie two-fer. Here's the link to the AP article.

And I'm sure, while we've got the ole special prosecutor out, they wouldn't mind re-visiting bush's national guard record. You know, the one where he's been awol since 1972 ? And also we can find out why ole smokin' joe murdered that young woman when he was a senator ! Yep, folks, murdered her right in his office !! And it never was investigated!! Subject: Tom DeLay / Mark Kirk
You probably has seen this story on Tom DeLay that involves $20K alone going to Illinois own idiot Mark Kirk who puts on a "moderate" costume and seems to get away with it.
Subject: Bush Quote from Davenport Speech
I found this troubling. The emphasis is mine. Is Bush saying we went to war based on... imaginative speculation rather than knowledge??
I always had the feeling that Bush and his corporate cronies admired communism, where it oppressed the meek and greased the palms of the greedy. Looks like creeping socialized medicine is O.K. for a corporate welfare state, don't it?
Subject: Paul Krugman
Somebody should be trying to get Krugman on more talk shows!!
[BuzzFlash Note: We think they're afraid of him.]
Subject: Bush stupidity at the Minority Journalist convention today
A native American journalist asked Bush what he thought was meant by Native American sovereignty. the answer was such that a roar of laughter was heard. this needs to be snipped out and played on the Kerry campaign. It would be impossible to describe it. You must see it to believe it.
Subject: Bush Tells the Truth
Today Bush must have been trying to win the daily double for misspeaking. The next sentence after declaring that terrorists and us never stop thinking up new ways to harm our country he said "We must never stop thinking about how best to offend our country."
Subject: love your site
just wanted to say thanks for an awesome site. I cannot begin my day without checking in. Keep up the great work.
Thanks so much for the Paul Krugman interview, I never fail to learn from him. Paul is one of my heroes, we are lucky to have him at this crucial time.

Subject: What a Hypocrite
Allan Keyes, who was so against Hillary running in New York, because she had never lived there, is going to do the good old Grand Hypocrisy Party dance, and run against Obama in Illinois. Heck, Keyes is from Maryland, but Hypocrisy in the GOP has become a way of life and we just take it for granted that they are hypocrites and nobody questions them anymore.

Subject: West Michigan Presidential Survey
I am not sure if you are aware of it, but the West Michigan area is one of the most Republican districts in the country. This survey of West Michigan Voting Preferences is amazing. In short, Kerry 52% Bush 41% (If Ottawa County and Kent County go for Kerry, there is no way Bush will win.) This is the link:
Keep up the good work,
From "Bush Defends Terror-Threat Alert"
Bush said, in defending the latest "Sky is Falling" questionable release of terror(ist) warnings: ''Imagine what would happen if we didn't share that information with the people in those buildings and something were to happen, then what would you write? What would you say?''
"What would you say?" he asks. I'd say he would know the answer to that question if he'd been reading the news. I think the resounding message from those whom Bush League did not choose to share this type of information - specifically, those who can still speak for themselves - is "Get out!"

Please be aware that when this “war”started, the Bush administration (technically) transferred the Special Operations Command (Seals, Green Berets, Deltas, etc.) to control of the CIA.
So whenever the military is asked about deaths (casualties), they only have to respond to those under military control.
Best guess is around 700 special forces have been KIA.
Hasn’t anyone ever wondered why there have been no reported deaths of any special forces soldiers?
