Sometimes I guess it pays to know your enemy, but this guy sounds like Rush Limbaugh. I gag when I hear/read him telling more of his idiotic lies too. Seems to subscribe to the usual neocon party line: if a conservative says it, or says it often enough, then it must be true, and if a liberal or moderate says it, well, it must be false.
That oldie but goodie Reagan building up deficits is not just "liberal hyperbole" but has been admitted by David Stockman among other people to be policy.
Oh yeah, that reminds me of a good one: John Edwards is a trial lawyer soaking the already soaked corporations even more. Funny how most of those corporations don't pay any taxes.

Subject: Our Man KERRY debunks the Swift Boat LIARS for bush
Good Morning BuzzFlash:
Last night our man Kerry delivered the speech of his life. When he finished his speech I was filled with pride.
What I saw was a bases loaded home run, a Grand Slam that will be what all who watched remember.
But there was one problem, as I listened and read the reports of the Convention through the week I noticed that the group calling itself " Swift Boat veterans for truth" was at the Convention trying to get as much face time on TV and talk radio as possible. Last night anything this group might say against John Kerry was completely debunked by the men of the Swift Boat crews who ACTUALLY served with John Kerry and their stories, loyalty, friendship and brotherhood told the truth of who and what John Kerry is and what he did in Vietnam.
Finally, the truth is there for all Americans to see. The "Swift boat veterans for Truth" ceased to exist last night, they became the "SWIFT BOAT LIARS FOR BUSH" . Soon this group of liars will fade away into the dark chapter of history that will be forever known as the disastrous reign of King George W. Bush and all I have to say is, Good riddance to bad rubbish!
The presidential election is November 2, 2004. are you registered and ready to vote? BRING IT ON!
Hugs to BuzzFlash for a job well done . You are the greatest.

Subject: Just Asking
I wonder if at the republican convention Bush will bring into the stage those Guardsman that were with him during his called "duty" at the National Guard as Senator John Kerry brought about a dozen of men that were with HIM during his time in Nam....just asking.
It is funny to read that the republicans were protesting about the "protest zone" being tooooooooooo far from the convention. How ironic...they finally had to swallow their OWN medicine. Laughing out loud and rolling in the floor.
To those Buzzers that want to see the speeches without any comments from MORONS....just watch C-Span this weekend, they will repeat them.
We should boycott CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS and NBC...better still we should OUTSOURCE them all to Iraq....specially Robert (TRAITOR) Novak, Blitzer, Woodruff, Scarborough, Matthews and all those COWARD brown noses, that by now must have warts in their mouths from licking the administration butt.
Don't forget to watch Bill Maher in Real Time - 11:00 p.m. on HBO. Michael Moore is one of the guests.
Subject: Bush to Blacks
Bush's response to Obama and Al Sharpton was to drag out a BLACK Al Queda operative. Coincidence, no. DELIBERATE. Blacks are still dangerous and we don't need their votes. Willie Horton revised.
Subject: Convention Coverage
I assume the lack of network coverage I've been hearing so much about of the Dems Convention means that there will similarly be no network coverage of the Repubs convention...
Bwa ha hahahaha
What must I be thinking?
We get better coverage than you poor souls do via CNN Europe, it looks like.

A truly great speech by Kerry this evening, as was the one by Edwards last evening. These two have brains and are a real class act. Just makes all the more evident what slimy bottom feeders bush/cheney are.
How could anyone see these men speak and not realize what an embarrassment monkey boy and darth vader are to this country?
I'm guessing that rush limburger will be spinning like a dervish on speed tomorrow and so will his little clone hannity. Nice to see really, it's about time someone put those creeps on the defensive.
There is just NO comparison between class and trash!
If you go to www.votenader.org do you know that if you say the least little critical thing about Nader, they will send you a message telling you not to send email to them, that they will neither read it, nor reply to it. Why did Nader lie to Kerry, saying that if he chose Edwards, he would drop out of the race?

I'm mailing Ruth Lopez' essay to Tom Brokaw. What if we all did this? We could also tune out all corporate media for one week, print as well as broadcast, August 23-29th. Call it Alternative News Week. We are getting propaganda from corporate media, not journalism. With corporate media's repetition of G.O.P talking points, the slander of our candidates and point of view, I'm beginning to think they need us a lot more than we need them. We get most of our news from alternative sources anyway, during this week let's make it 100%! Jim Hightower is right. It's not enough to be progressive, we need to become aggressive!
Subject: Just a few things to say
I want to let you know that BuzzFlash receives a mention in Larry Flynt's book: "Sex, Lies & Politics: The Naked Truth". I read the book this past weekend. The mention is on page 248 in the footnote section. I enjoy BuzzFlash very much. The articles and the Mailbag section are a great read
I also had the opportunity to hear Barak Obama's speech this past Wednesday morning (very early). There is one thing to say: Barak, you rock!! If only there was a senatorial candidate of Mr. Obama's caliber here in Pennsylvania. After reading about him on BuzzFlash, I just had to hear him for myself. Thankfully, I watched C-Span's coverage of the Convention.
Thanks for everything. Keep up the good work.

Subject: The use of the word "Republican"
Raised as a"Republican",the son of a "republican" who was raised by a "Republican" father as far back as anyone remembers, I've got to call ALL of you guys out for miss use of a word that has been a part of my soul for as long as I can remember.
To my fathers before me, and to me personally the term "REPUBLICAN" signified not just a blind devotion to a political party, but to the concept of "THE REPUBLIC FOR WHICH IT STANDS"---"ONE NATION, INDIVISIBLE"----"FOR ALL"! THERE WAS NO IDEA OF "BELONGING" TO A POLITICAL PARTY TO THE POINT WHERE DISAGREEMENT WITH THE"LEADERS" OF THE MOMENT WOULD OR COULD BE SEEN AS UNACCEPTABLE, LET ALONE AS 'TREASON' OR "DISLOYALTY",
For the people of this administration to claim to be "REPUBLICANS" IS AN INSULT not only to me but to anyone who truly loves the "REPUBLIC FOR WHICH IT STANDS"!George Bush and Company are no more "REPUBLICANS" than was Augustus, or Nero, or Henry the Eighth, or any of the"other" Georges. The apologists of the new intellectuals can come up with all kinds of"isms" or "ologies; unending"expert analysis" showing the"rightness" of this administrations rule. And not a one of you has yet to call it the way it REALLY is.....WE ARE ALREADY LIVING IN A FASCIST STATE...and all the nay saying and euphemistic hogwash the media wants to pour out, will never change that truth.
DO NOT TALK TO ME ABOUT 'BUSH' REPUBLICANS Those are mutually exclusive terms by any stretch of any reasonable reason!

Subject: Buzz Falls For GOP Trap?
You state, "He even indirectly evoked "Fahrenheit 911" when he declared, "I want an America that relies on its own ingenuity and innovation, not the Saudi royal family.'"
Detractors will say this was wild-eyed, "liberalism". Yet, Senator Kerry literally wrote the book on the BCCI investigation. This statement is better read as a rhetorical bridge from John Kerry's work as a prosecutor in Boston, to his distinguished career in the Senate investigating the BCCI and the Iran Contra scandals.

For what it's worth, I've coined my own term for the media convention coverage: banalysis.

Subject: CNN News Flash-Balloon Falling Trouble
I watched John Kerry's speech on CNN last night. He electrified his audience with his views on Iraq, health care, education and taxes. After his speech, the balloons were cued to fall from the rafters. We knew this because a microphone was "left open accidentally." We could hear the man in charge of the balloons calling and calling for more balloons to drop. He was getting frustrated and asked, "Where are the God------ balloons?!" When the CNN team broke in to comment on what I assumed would be the speech, all they could talk about was this terrible balloon failure. One even mentioned that something similar happened to Jimmy Carter......not a very good sign.
Earth to CNN.....Who gives a crap about the balloons!!!
