Subject: Sibel Edmonds update alert...
Thought you would want to know that the Justice Department moved yesterday to "retroactively" classify testimony given to congress two years ago concerning FBI translator Sibel Edmonds. Outrageous! Keep on buzzin'!
Subject: Any thoughts on the Bush Administration exit strategy?
Here's a question for you and your readers: Has anyone given much thought to what happens if (when) the Bush Administrator becomes a lame duck administration? One wonders what their exit strategy will be, and how much more damage the village idiot and crew will cause on the way out...

Subject: John McCain as Kerry V.P.
I can't believe that anyone would suggest McCain as Kerry's running mate. He sat with Tim Russert and said: "I'm working for George Bush's re-election. George Bush has done a good job, and he deserves another four years."
I respect McCain's service to the country and some of his accomplishments in congress, but those statements to Russert make him either a liar, a dumbbell, or so Republicanized that he does not know right from wrong in regards to the welfare of the country and the Dunce in the White House. McCain as Kerry's V.P.? You talk about flip-flopping. That would take the cake.
Now how about Jim Jeffords? There's a man with enough integrity to resign from the GOP.
Subject: Bush chooses who chooses new democratic Iraqi government...
<sarcasm>What kind of democracy is Bush peddling here?... He's requesting that a U.N. envoy (Lakhdar Brahimi) choose who leads Iraq...
If he really wanted to offer the American Model of Democracy, surely he'd have the U.S. Supreme Court decide who would rule!</sarcasm>
Subject: Chalabi Raid....right, pass the ketchup please
Do you think the Iraqis are buying the newest US propaganda with this Chalabi raid? Hmmmm, the Iraqi people have turned against the US occupation. The IGC will be disbanded soon so that the members will have the opportunity to be elected once elections happen. The whole IGC is moving away from supporting the US as fast as they possibly can. The faster and more pronounced their dissatisfaction with the US the better their chances politically in the future.
What could the US possibly do to help their darling Chalabi? Here's an idea, raid his residence, arrest some of his INC members, publicly disassociate with him. Can't you just see Wolfie, Rummy and Chabali snickering at how they pulled yet another one over on us?
I am not amused.

BUSH FLOPS [ Rich Lowry ]

Subject: It's all just a little crazy
Religious zealots are everywhere, between what is going on all over the Middle East to our own religious right. Who could have thought this could happen in this country, besides our founding fathers who tried to frame the Constitution to prevent this? In the past, one of the things that caused the world to look up to us, and may I say have respect for this country, was the fact that we had the individual right to govern ourselves and not just be followers of the fringe. O' how times have changed.
Subject: Pelosi getting close
"Incompetent, "Bungling," etc...could be misplaced perceptions of Bush's actions. If world chaos is the goal -- then that which seems like bad policy-making and mistakes is just what the anti-Christ wants. Just go back over the hundreds of reports on Bush's speeches etc. It's amazing that, in every area, from war to global warming to the economy, everything he says is the exact opposite of what any conscious person can see is happening. No previous president could have survived even one of the so-called "mistakes." Bush can profess his faith in God but his actions prove the opposite.
Subject: NONDISCLOSURE AGREEMENTSThis is truly outrageous. Military personnel that were stationed in Iraq (and who knows where else) are required to sign nondisclosure agreements upon completing their service? What's up with that? So if one of them defies the terms of the agreement and discloses torture or other illegal activity taking place in some office or on the battlefield, the military can sue them, or better yet bring criminal charges against them? Which individuals thought this up? Let me guess, someone in the Pentagon or the Justice Department or the White House. How about all three? Nondisclosure agreements, a legitimate commercial tool used to keep individuals from disclosing trade secrets and practices to competitors, have been perverted to cover up unlawful conduct on the part of our government and the military. What in the hell has our country come to in the last three and a half years? Why hasn't this subject been pursued in the hearings into the abuse at Abu Ghraib, Guantanamo, Kabul, et al.? Throw the bums out! Throw all the bums out!
Subject: Dean interview on Hannity & ColmesLast night Howard Dean was interviewed on Hannity & the Faux Liberal. Hannity revived the "safer with Saddam locked-up" theory. While Dean's answer (600+ dead since) was good enough, here's what I would have said:
Sean, there's a distinct possibility that a terrorist attack will interfere with, and/or alter the outcome of, an election! YOU CALL THAT SAFER? How do you measure safer?
Mr. Bush and the politicians in his administration have failed our troops. Our troops in Iraq have done everything they have been asked and more. Nancy Pelosi was correct to criticize the political failure of the Bush administration The Republicans are wrong to assert she was criticizing our troops. We must be clear. Our failure in Iraq is a political failure of the Bush administration to accomplish its seriously flawed political objectives. Our military accomplished the military objectives handed to them. Our military won the war against Saddam's troops. The Bush administration has failed to win the peace. Our troops are paying the price of that failure.
The message we need to deliver is clear.
The Bush administration has failed our troops in Iraq and us, the American people.
Subject: The demise of Ahmad Chalabi
The first of the Neo-conservatives, Ahmad Chalabi, top man on the Iraqi Council, is history. He is charged with passing secret intelligence to Iran. CBS reports that Chalabi gave exaggerated info about WMDs before the invasion of Iraq. So my guess is that this is a trumped up charge and Chalabi is the first to take the fall for the WMD fiasco. CBS also reports that a high level investigation is under way to find out who gave Chalabi that information. So maybe more neo-conservatives are on their way out. My guess is that Richard Perle, a close associate of Chalabi, will be next.

Subject: Mailbag 5/20I am having some serious problems with my post for mailing...just now, I was trying to write a letter, and a pop up asked me if I wanted to send a letter with no message.
I wonder if the Bush administration is into my mail...tee hee...but, I would not be surprised. I have much democratic mail each day...from fundraisers, whom I cannot always pay....I would much rather send to Buzz.
Anyway...before the ghost of Bush past messes with my mail again, I wanted to reply to all the people like me who think that these hearings have been one of the most frustrating things I have ever tried to watch. Everyone lies...no one knows a thing...and they do not remember it that way!!!
There is no way in the world a country can be run this way. In the first place, how many heads of Central Command have there been since the start of this war? None of these are the ones there when it started. Now, there is Abizaid...who?? I have no idea where he came from. We started off with someone else completely, I know that Tommy Franks, whomever he was, is now out...being tried for War Crimes...and Tommy White...was a part of the Enron scandal...he is in hiding somewhere, I suppose.
But, nothing will ever be found out, because everyone lies...or does not remember getting that memo!!!
I get so frustrated trying to watch anything...the senators get mad...unless you are Inhofe....even McCain is so mad at them, he shows it! I know McCain would like to be a republican....like the parties used to be, but he hates this bunch, and you can tell it.
They were interviewing a woman in Cumberland, Md., last night....the town that produced the incestuous abusers all came from there. Do you think it is in the drinking water, or where they were trained? Correct me if I am wrong...but wasn't it Ft. Bragg that had the soldiers who were killing their wives a long time ago? Anyway, this woman was irate and said, "Why are we even worried about the prisoners, they are all killers and would likely be worthless anyway." And, I thought, "No wonder the abusers were like that."
They think pretty much like the administration! It is chilling!!!
Subject: Re: Cheney Prediction
Regarding the theory from the BuzzFlash Mailbag---interesting, a Bush/McCain ticket! Would be a big "September Surprise" for the Repugs. One I hadn't thought of but certainly well worth consideration and definitely not far-fetched!
Subject: The rapture? Is Bush Preparing for the Rapture? (unknownnews.net 5/20)
I reckon it will happen via helicopter, from the roof of the White House. And you'll see it on TV!! And you won't believe your eyes....
Subject: Look's like al-Zarqawi got away again...AP reported this morning that 4 of the 5 Berg killers have been apprehended:
like al-Zarqawi got away again -- but then, those
of us who have read George Orwell's 1984 know
that one of the principle tenets of propaganda is
that "...you can't catch the bad guy, he has to remain

Subject: Graduate in Hypocrisy
Perhaps you've seen where the Hypocrite in Chief said he and Laura won't be attending their daughter's graduation exercises because it would be too disruptive? All the post-9/11 presidential security would detract from the other student's big day?
Well, Our Hero is here today in Louisiana, giving the commencement address at Louisiana State University. So what I'm wondering is this: is the issue that attending his daughter's graduation is too disruptive? Or is it that his attendance would enhance his family's target value? I'm wondering because inconvenience doesn't seem to be an issue if it's only us Louisiana red-necks who are inconvenienced.
