| Tell The Truth About Bush's Accomplishments! May 10, 2002 A BUZZFLASH EDITORIAL The Republican National Committee (RNC) is weighing the option of running a $25 MILLION DOLLAR ad campaign to "trumpet President Bush's record" in an effort to confuse voters into thinking that the Republican party is "the party with ideas in sync with the values of the American public." We hurt ourselves laughing over the idea that the Republicans could even remotely represent anyone other than old, rich, white men and a few right-wing religious fanatics. However, we know what a $25 million dollar ad campaign can do to public opinion. There's nothing more emotionally moving than a John Williams' sound track over images of baseball, hot dogs, apple pie and the destruction from 9/11. That's why BuzzFlash thinks everyone should take a look at "Bushed: The Truth About Bush's Accomplishments." It's a BuzzFlash Perspectives page found here: http://www.buzzflash.com/perspectives/2002/Bushed.html If you visit that page, you'll find links to all the disgusting, devastating, destructive and demoralizing policies, decisions, and White House memos, Bush and his administration have shoved down our throats since they overtook the Oval Office. We believe that the RNC should think twice about portraying Bush as anything but a weak-minded corporate shill. If they do run their ad campaign, at least we'll know we can send our friends a link to the truth. A BuzzFlash Editorial --------------------------------------------- RNC
