GOP Hypocrite of the Week: Zell Miller

A BUZZFLASH EDITORIAL

Listen to the GOPHOTW HERE.

Welcome back to the BuzzFlash.com GOP Hypocrite of the Week.

Okay, Zell Miller is about as much of a Democrat as George W. Bush is an honest man.

Zell Miller reminds BuzzFlash of some German soldiers in World War II who, disguised as American GIs, directed advancing allied forces into ambushes during the Battle of the Bulge.

Zell is disguised as a Democrat, and the ambush he is directing us into is the incompetent, bumbling, stumbling, lying death sentence for democracy -- a second Bush administration.

Actually, it was a BuzzFlash reader who nominated Miller for this week's GOP Hypocrite of the Week. Here is what Ron Russell of San Francisco had to say:

Dear BuzzFlash,

I would like to submit for your consideration Zell Miller as BuzzFlash's GOP Hypocrite of the Week. Now I know it's strange to nominate someone who claims to be a Democrat as a GOP Hypocrite, but let's look at the Record.

Zell Miller today called John Kerry an "out-of-touch, ultraliberal from Taxachusetts"... "whose foreign and domestic policies would seriously weaken the country." Zell's blatantly anti-progressive attitude is beyond personal introspection of how Bush has damaged not only our military in Iraq, but our good word and name with the rest of the world.

Zell has written a book that slams his own party with the title of "A National Party No More." Furthermore, Zell has already endorsed the most vile pResident in this once great nation's history for re-Selection!

Zell consistently votes with the Rethuglicans on tax giveaways to the Ultra Rich, he supports shredding the Constitution, anti-environmental energy legislation --
and of course Zell has never seen a right wing judicial activist that he can't support. He's the miserable excuse for a senator (or a human being) who slandered Cynthia McKinney with words she never said.

He never rose to vigorously support Max Cleland, despite Saxby Chamblis' low class and cynical ads that compared Max to Saddam and Osama. In the past 3 years, every position Zell has taken has made me gag and then ask, "Is this a Democrat? There are about a dozen Republicans that I consider more reasonable and less hypocritical than Zell!

I have no doubt that Zell would have felt right at home as a member of Joe McCarthy's witch hunts in the 50's and he's done nothing to defend Bush critics whose patriotism has been called into question. Zell claims to be a non-partisan patriot, but where was his outrage at the treasonous outing of that CIA agent in a blatant political act of intimidation and revenge? Answer: He was totally silent! Zell has not only damaged the party, but he's damaging the country.

All BuzzFlash readers should already know that he's a wolf in sheep's clothing.

Warmest Regards,

Ron

Thanks, Ron, we couldn't have said it better.

The good news is that Zell Miller is not seeking re-election. The bad ... that he's probably going to be too busy trying to help the "White Man Entitlement Ticket" of Bush and Cheney seek another term so they can wreak more havoc on our Constitution and the world. It's just another reason why Miller is this week's BuzzFlash GOP Hypocrite all right!

So, until next week, just remember our motto at BuzzFlash.com: So many Republican hypocrites, so little time.

Catch up with you soon.
