A BUZZFLASH EDITORIAL Listen to the GOPHOTW HERE. Let’s face it. Like cockroaches in a lower Manhattan tenement building, GOP hypocrites are everywhere. So this week BuzzFlash swings to the West Coast to focus on a true Bush Cartel hack, a Republican congressman who chooses loyalty to his party over the lives of our American soldiers in Iraq. The Bush administration has been touting a rather, well, shall we just say “insensitive spin” that the failed war in Iraq is worth more than the lives of a few hundred dead American soldiers. And Congressman George Nethercutt of Washington state showed that he is a true foot soldier in the Bush brigade. The recovery of Iraq is, he said, and we quote, “a better and more important story than losing a couple of soldiers every day." Heck, what are a few hundred dead American GI's when there's money to be made on no-bid contracts parceled out to Bush campaign contributors? Nethercutt cut his teeth in GOP hypocrisy when he violated his "Gingrich Gang" vow to serve no more than three terms. Apparently, Nethercutt felt that the House of Representatives just couldn't survive without another certifiable GOP hypocrite moron, a betrayer of our troops who are dying because Bush and Cheney are lying. Nethercutt, true to the Grand Hypocrisy Party credo, doesn't shame easily. In fact, to triumph in the Grand Hypocrisy Party, you can't ever be ashamed of your behavior. Ever. The more you get away with being a hypocrite, the higher you climb in the esteem of the GOP poobahs, such as Satan's snake himself, Tom "The Exterminator" DeLay. So Nethercutt figures he will ride the Bush Cartel's indifference to our military dead into higher office by challenging United States Senator Patty Murray, a Democrat, in the 2004 election. We figure if Nethercutt can come up with some nude photos of himself in his youth and grope a few women here and there, he can probably get elected. GOP voters appear to go in for that sort of thing. Just ask Governor Gang Bang the Groper down in California. And until next week, just remember our BuzzFlash slogan: So many Republican Hypocrites, so little time. Catch up with you soon!
