Is This Liberation?

A BUZZFLASH EDITORIAL

BuzzFlash is so sickened by the civilian deaths from George Bush's War on Iraq, that we felt compelled to remind him of the consequences of his actions.

Below are the contents of a letter we are sending to the White House. It is also available as a PDF document, so you can download, print, date, sign, and mail it to Bush as often as you can afford.

We hope that copies of this letter fill the White House mailbox now and for many years to come, to remind Bush and every subsequent Oval Office occupant who suffers when they wage war.

George W. Bush
White House
1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW
Washington, DC 20500

Dear Mr. Bush,

Is this how your liberate Iraq?

Ali Ismaeel Abbas, 12, was fast asleep when war shattered his life.

A missile obliterated his home and most of his family, leaving him orphaned, badly burned - and blowing off both his arms.

With tears running down his face he asked: "Can you help get my arms back? Do you think the doctors can get me another pair of hands? If I don't get a pair of hands I will commit suicide.

"Our house was just a poor shack. Why did they want to bomb us?"

- The Mirror, April 8, 2003

May you never forget the people you killed and the lives you destroyed.

Sincerely,
