9-11
was the worst terrorist attack, killing 3,000 innocent people. The families
of the victims, U.S. citizens, and the countries represented by many of
the victims deserve to know the truth. America needs the truth in order
to do all that can be done to prevent a future attack. This administration
is pulling another con job on the people and insured the outcome they
want by appointing a chairman who will never reveal the truth. It's a
farce designed to make Dumbya look good, and another tragedy for America.

How
many innocent Americans have been caught in the new security precautions?
And how few terrorists? All the rhetoric, all the hoopla, and this administration
has managed to detain more innocent American civilians than terrorists!
I've read about grannies and "liberal protestors" detained at
airports, human interest photographers arrested and equipment confiscated,
student physicians on their way to a new school assignment having their
autos searched in view of all the world, patients that received radioactive
materials for diagnostic and curative purposes arrested and detained,
etc., etc., etc. It seems that the Bushies are only good at capturing
innocent Americans, while Osama continues to lurk out there plotting and
planning his next attack.

I
am concerned Bob Barr and Dick Armey are going to work for the ACLU! Seems
like the wolves in sheep's clothing are moving in for covert reasons.
I hope the ACLU realizes their aim is to infiltrate and capture from within,
and there is no conversion here. These two are so obviously conservative
that to attempt to care about civil rights and civil liberties is absolutely
ridiculous. Are we to see an organization that has been a voice for the
people annihilated from within? Remember, it takes only one rotten apple
to spoil the whole barrel, and two will do it faster!

You
can dress it up and spin it around, but it boils down to "payoffs"
for appointees who tow the line, rewards for playing the game and guaranteeing
the outcome. In some places, this would be called a bribe. But in the
Bush administration, it's called a bonus. The Dumbya way of doing "bidness."
Don Bushleone strikes again.

Regarding
NPR's current bend to the right, I wonder if they are aware they are now
supporting the views of those who are working hard to eliminate NPR? I
wonder if they know that no matter how far right they move, the ultimate
outcome will be to see NPR canceled? A sad day, indeed, for the voice
of the people to become the voice of bias. Objectivity is a thing of the
past for those who seek to brown nose the Bush administration.

Repuglicans
and the mainstream media are more interested in the sex lives and haircuts
of Democrats, than the issues facing our nation. Frankly, most Americans
consider sex a private matter and don't give a rat's $#% how much it cost
for a haircut. People are tired of the hype, perpetrated to cover up the
real problems we face. There are plenty of important questions no one
is asking. Why and how did 9-11 happen? Did someone choose to ignore the
warnings? What can be done to prevent this from happening again? Why is
this administration planning a war on Iraq when we haven't defeated Al
Qaeda? Why have we left Afghanistan when we haven't finished helping them?
Why is the economy in disastrous shape? What will be done, that works,
to stimulate the economy? Why are only the richest in this country getting
the breaks? Why haven't the funds been provided to "leave no child
behind"? Will schools continue to be haphazardly repaired with band
aids? Why is public education suffering the ignorance of our lawmakers?
I could go on and on! Sex lives and haircuts affect the individual, not
the whole country. To the Repugs and mainstream media: "GET OVER
IT, MOVE ON," we're tired of your bull.

It
has become blatantly evident that the Bushies take the "bully pulpit"
quite literally. We became aware of it when Ari uttered those infamous
words, "People had better watch what they say." Blatantly threatening
free speech and those who chose to use it became the policy of this administration.
Bully is defined as an aggressive person who intimidates and or mistreats
weaker people, which is an appropriate description of this administration,
including their leader. In fact, little bro' Jebbie has joined in by telling
the Doonesbury cartoonist Gary Trudeau to, "Walk softly," after
a cartoon depicted his brother's manhood in a blind trust. The point here
being, like the German's pre WWII, we will not realize our freedoms have
been gutted until it is too late.
*

It
is a known fact that the Bushes do not like negative publicity. They seek
to control the media in whatever way they can, including veiled threats
to those who don't "watch what they say." The Bush family's
love of country (and the free speech that is a part of it) is a facade
to gain political advantage. They claim patriotism while undermining the
Constitution.
*

Just
a note of caution to any Repuglican upstart who would seek to run against
the Bush Family in the future. They will degrade and debase you, chew
you up and spit you out, and do whatever it takes to keep ultimate power
and control in the family. Their plan is to rule the United States. Everyone,
Democrats and Repuglicans alike, will be grist in the Bush political mill.
If you don't believe me, ask John McCain.

As
we watch this administration systematically annihilate the values held
dearly by our citizens, I wonder if the mainstream media feel any guilt
for aiding and abetting this death march on our freedoms? Will the ratings
be important when censorship becomes the law? Will they realize they did
more to wipe out a once proud nation than any other entity? Will they
continue to pat themselves on the back because they avoided investigating
the reports issued by the current White House? Controlled propaganda has
already begun, information is scripted and not always true -- it's an
insidious pervasive tentacle of the decline into fascism. Will those in
powerful media positions be surprised when government seizes control of
the media in the name of security?

In
the end, that familiar phrase "follow the money" is what encompasses
it all. Some members of organized religion support an administration wrought
with people of questionable criminal activity so they can acquire the
dollars they feel they've been denied by the government for years. Whatever
happened to the example of the life of Christ? His message was delivered
in humble poverty. Apparently, the current leaders believe the money is
more important than the message, otherwise they would not support an administration
willing to ignore the Commandments to obtain political advantage.

Mathematics
has not been my forte, but I can budget small amounts of money to make
ends meet. I don't see the logic in the Repuglican idea that someone making
$12,000 a year, paying 4% in taxes, is worse than someone making $300,000
paying 28%. Folks, this boils down to a poor person having $ll,520 left
to survive on while the guy making the big bucks has a mere $216,000 to
live the high life in this lopsided society. I am a believer in a day's
work deserves a fair day's pay, but it's ridiculous to think the poor
guy needs to pay more in taxes while the rich guy gets a break! Besides,
the poor guy will do more for the economy by buying groceries than the
rich guy fattening his portfolio.

Bill
Clinton built a bridge to the 21st Century and gave us a peace and prosperity
never before seen. Bush has blown that bridge and taken us back to the
days of economic and physical peril. We have returned to high unemployment,
high crime rates, less money to pay our bills, and state and local governments
raising our taxes to pay for the shortfalls created by Dumbya's economics.
We're also in an unfocused eternal war that endangers each and everyone
of us. We are running around helter-skelter, willy-nilly, fighting wars
on numerous fronts, without success. We need a regime change to oust this
"axis of evil" and we need a Democrat who can successfully rebuild
that bridge.

I
wonder how many Civil Service workers voted for Bush and how they feel,
now that he has denied them a raise? I wonder when he will declare that
these cuts are necessary for national security? As each group of workers
gets hit by this "compassionate conservative," perhaps they
will begin to realize that Bush and his cohorts are interested only in
what will be personally profitable. Dumbya's history blatantly shows how
UNcompassionate he is. He has always allowed the poor to pay for the rich.
Bush's way of doing "bidness" is as the Anti-Robin Hood.

Sane
Americans voted Bush #1 out, but thanks to Election 2000 and the Supreme
Court he's back with a vengeance via Bush #2. Members of Poppy's group
with questionable criminal backgrounds are again calling the shots. We
did well to rid this country of the vermin in '92. Bill Clinton was elected
and brought us eight years of peace and prosperity. The people voted for
Al Gore in an effort to spare this nation the pain and hardship that comes
with the Bushes. If regime change is necessary to rid a country of evil,
we need to effect that change here in America.

Just
wondering if Jerry Falwell and Pat Roberstson would like to schmooz about
the terrorist activities of Christians? Take, for instance, the "Crusades,"
when thousands of Muslims and Jews were killed in the name of religion.
Or how about the "Salem Witch Hunts," when young women were
burned at the stake. It seems that when extremists use religion to further
their goals of dominance it results in plenty of skeletons in the closet.
Mr. Falwell and Mr. Robertson would do well to clean their own backyards
before condemning others. To incite hate and killing is as bad as committing
the act and these two men are doing just that. Somehow I don't believe
that's what Jesus would do!

The
right wing windbags have finally gotten around to a book that blames Clinton
for 9-11! They seem to have forgotten that Bush was in office and sent
out the word to go easy on terrorism. They don't remember that all the
Bush administration agencies cut back on terrorism investigation. They
didn't heed the warnings coming in from other nations. They lied about
any pre-knowledge of a possible attack. America was ill-prepared in many
areas thanks to Bush and his cohorts cutting funding where it was most
needed. The right wingnuts of this country will do anything to make a
buck and that includes innuendo, spin, and outright lies. The true "Christians"
in this country would do well to distance themselves from this bunch of
fanatical lunatics.
