Ever given any thought to how many of the right wind bag darlings of the media have been convicted of a felony, only to be pardoned by a Repuglican president or watch the case get overturned on a technicality? It's really getting pretty bad when mass hero worship is directed at those who have shown little regard for the law and who now profess to be the saviors of all that is dear in this world. For all their condemnation of "lawyers," it seems they readily made use of this profession when they needed them. Perhaps, that's why it's called the GRAND HYPOCRISY PARTY.

As we approach the season when unemployment benefits run out for Americans who lost their jobs, my bumper sticker reads: DON'T BLAME ME I DIDN'T VOTE FOR THE LOSER! If it wasn't the economy on November 5, it's becoming the economy now. Bush has had two years of poor policies to create the current economic problems. Mainstream media stories are slow in coming, but we are hearing the beginning of dissent from a vast number of Americans who are staring unemployment in the face. Local governments across the nation are feeling the pinch. We are in a double dip recession due to the lack of an economics plan from the BUSH ADMINISTRATION.

I'm not real confident regarding the investigation of the Wellstone plane crash. Remember, this is Dumbya's administration and he has the power to hire and fire. He likes to keep everything under wraps and he doesn't believe he should have to answer any questions, anytime, from anyone! If there is any evidence of impropriety or criminal intent, don't look for that report on the nightly news.

Ever consider how terrible we all think Castro is when Cubans disappear into prisons never to be heard from again? Ever think about how we all condemned Castro for being judge and jury when he had a political dissident arrested? The Cuban Americans have been very vocal about Castro being a dictator, yet some Cuban Americans support Bush and his inane policies -- policies that are no different than the Castro's. Americans are in the same boat as the citizens of Cuba -- one man can decide life or death, whether you get a trial by jury, and if you are entitled to a lawyer. Once labeled a "terrorist," you have no rights, no recourse, and can disappear, never to be heard from again.

Bill O'Reilly has sunk even deeper into his mire -- his latest opinion is an attempt to trash Bill Moyers. O'Reilly should be reminded that his smear and scandal, as dirty as it is, does more to reinforce his rotten reputation than it does to discredit a man with the integrity and stature of Mr. Moyers. It's just another example of how those on the right run campaigns of smear and scandal to cover for their inadequacies and lack of credibility.

Fear is a strange bedfellow. The Bush administration uses FEAR to direct America's attention away from the very things most Americans fear losing: the right to privacy, the right to speak freely, the right to have your vote counted, the right to legal counsel and a trial of your peers, and the right to exist equally in a Democratic nation. By trampling on those rights, the Bush administration has provided bin Laden his victory!

All those "good conservative" pundits who screamed about how bad it was to lie, don't have a problem with their own lies! Tucker Carlson of Crossfire told a bald-faced lie when he reported the Repuglicans "were shouted down at the Wellstone Memorial service." This did not happen, but Carlson, the darling of conservative punditry and the indignant professor of bull, knowingly told an outright lie. Kelly Anne Conway, another familiar face who seems to abhor lying unless she is the one perpetrating the lies said, "the crowd at the Memorial Service was screened when to boo, and when to cheer." Didn't happen! These holier than thou types who dominate mainstream media and profess a belief in the commandments seem to overlook "Thou Shalt Not Bear False Witness." It's a familiar tactic of the right wind bags -- do whatever you are condemning.

FOX News is about as fair and balanced as Rush Limbaugh! In fact, if you've heard one of these so-called conservative news provocateurs, you've heard them all. Their mission is to incite hate for anyone with an opinion that differs from the smear and scandal with which they so insidiously infect the airwaves. To profess an abiding faith while spreading lies is abominable.

The FBI has lost control! The Congress of the United States has no control! Dumbya is out of control! Mainstream media is attempting to manipulate control! So where does that leave the American public? Chaos and confusion reigns! The Bush legacy of war and economic instability continues onward. Bush #2 will finish the jobs that Bush #1 left undone! War, war, and more war -- complete and final economic annihilation!

Florida, specifically Broward County, finds several touch screen voting machines in a closet at a fire station. There were no explanations why the machines had not been accounted for or how they ended up in a closet 22 days after the primaries. It sounds like there was some hanky panky going on, but then election reform seems to mean different things to different people.

The way I see it, the Democrats better start fighting fire with fire. It's time to stop playing the gentlemen and show this bunch of rowdies we have grit and metal. We can fight for what we believe in and we can win! This country is not Dumbya's personal playground and it's time he finds out he's not the king! Poppy may have bought him an election, but he couldn't buy him a kingdom. Hey Dems, quit supporting a wannabe dictator!

The Repugs are at it again -- Last night Greta Van Sustern had Kay Bailey Hutchinson on her FOX "On the Record" program! Ms. Hutchinson actually said that "since we hadn't connected the dots pre 9-11, the bombings of the Kobar Towers, the Cole, and the American Embassies weren't attributed to terrorism as they should have been, we now have an agency in Homeland Security that will help the United States protect it's citizens." Ms. Hutchinson, I'm not sure where you've been, but the Clinton administration certainly did connect the dots, unfortunately the Repuglican dominated Congress refused to support the Clinton administration in their endeavors to overcome terrorism! Your implication stinks, and your politics are despicable!

I wonder just how long the Repuglicans will allow the Poindexter military data base to gather info once they lose the next election. Just think about it -- all those think tanks, GoPacs, emails with talking points, bank accounts and whatever other sleazy tactics the Repugs can dream up, surveyed by the military! That could create one of those "Be careful what you pray for" situations. Wasn't it then Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich who became incensed when some poor shmuck taped a cell phone conversation caught on radio? We heard a lot about "privacy issues" back then. The Repugs don't like being caught in the web's they spin!

People should recognize that Dumbya is suffering from delusions of grandeur. He has developed a "God" complex and is attempting to portray his personal views as those of a deity. Those who seek to seize that power will be defeated. Just ask Hitler.

To the Senators in the United States Congress: You would do well to follow the advice of my grandmother, "Haste makes waste", when considering your vote on the Homeland Security Bill. Unfortunately for the American people and American Civil Servants, your haste will make waste for them. We will not benefit from a bill that contains pork added under the pretense of security. Remember, when you say yea or nay your families will also be caught in the web of insecurity woven by this administration and its supporters.

"Protest Zones," "No Fly Lists," "Extra Precaution Lists," and "Income Tax Audits," are but the beginning for this paranoid administration! While they -- with the help of mainstream media -- are doing their best to bombard the American public with the fallacy of overwhelming support and supposed mandates, the numbers belie the cries as WRONG! This administration is very well aware that liberal support is still in the majority and they are doing their very best to convince the public otherwise. Americans nationwide continue to support Democracy and they do not want a dictator in power, no matter how "down home" he attempts to appear.

Where is the Bush bullhorn now?? The children in orphanages in Afghanistan were promised help from the United States and the international community, but help has evaded them since Afghanistan is no longer the focus. Many of these children are there as a result of conditions brought about by the "war." Where are Bush's winning phrases now? "Leave no child behind," "We will support democracy," and "We will liberate women and children" -- yadda yadda yadda. It seems Bush is incapable of caring about the children who suffer because of his war and his will to dominate the world. The Iraqi people should be leery of the Bush brand of liberation.

THEY'RE BACK! Seems Poppy's entire administration is finding it's way back into the American political landscape. That'll show you masses of America -- if they can't get you the first time, then they'll get you in the second coming! Our country is in serious danger with these guys playing God in the lives of average Americans.

George W. Bush and the Repuglicans are creating "Homeland Insecurity." While claiming to increase security for the American people, this administration seeks to wipe out existing jobs for government workers. The plan is to "privatize" the Homeland Security Agency -- yep, get rid of all those government workers and hire some fat cat corporation to provide staffing! That way, the friends of Georgie get the millions from a government contract and the workers might get minimum wage, which in turn will downgrade the services our government provides for our safety and "security." The Repuglican Party is determined to undermine our government, and, in the process, make as much money as they can from taxpaying Americans. It stinks! We must stand up to these corporate windbags, before our country and our democracy is lost.
