TO ALL THOSE SENATORS AND CONGRESS MEMBERS WHO VOTED FOR THE BUSH RESOLUTION TO ATTACK IRAQ -- you are now responsible for the actions of a man who believes he was sent by God to save the world. In any other setting, at any other time, most sane people would begin to think it's time to send for the men in the white coats. Do you realize that you have put our lives in the hands of someone with questionable mental capacity? We don't have to go to Iraq to find a "mad man," we have our own right here in the USA. God truly will have to help us all!

Tell me, where does the GOP find these stellar men they choose to run for the Presidency? Nixon displayed tendencies of paranoid schizophrenia, Reagan seemed borderline dementia (pre or early stages Alzheimer's), and now Bush with his delusions of grandeur, a Napoleonic complex. Couldn't the Repugs do a little better and get someone with a little sanity or are they all as crazy as the chosen?

Congratulations to President Jimmy Carter, a man who is the epitome of peace and diplomacy. His efforts have increased the worldwide stature of the United States. He did not give in to defeat, he continued his efforts to promote peace, respect, and regard for humanity. We thank you President Carter. Yes indeed, we are better off in America thanks to you!

Ever notice how the little boy can shout threats from behind his big brother? He can bluster courage when he's protected! False bravado, so to speak. Well my friends, that's Dumbya -- full of false bravado because there is an undisclosed hidey hole where he can "get outta harms way." It's your children and mine who will be left to die for his bluster! It will be innocent Americans going about their daily routines who will be open to "terrorist" attacks, while those guys in sunglasses and black suits, who whisper into microphones, will surround Dumbya with a blanket of safety. Bravery is easy to talk about, but difficult to live! While brave people gave their lives to save others on 9-11, just remember what Dumbya did.

As we experience the events unfolding in America today, one lesson has been learned -- Al Gore's solutions were right on. Alternative fuels, conservation, and higher mpg standards would have eliminated Dumbya's need for Iraqi oil! The conservatives, mainstream media, and the Repugs can laugh and gaff all they want, but, you know what, GORE WAS RIGHT!

"WAR ONLY AS A LAST RESORT," the latest line of bull touted by the Bush administration! If you believe it, I've got a bridge to sell. This transparent rhetoric is the same as "Surpluses so huge we can afford a tax-cut," "Ken Who?" "I can't remember where I was, but I was in the National Guard in Alabama," and "No war plan on my desk." It's deception designed to lull the masses, as well as Congress, into approving a preemptive war against another nation. Another dumb idea by Dumbya for personal gain! People are in asylums with less grandiose ideation than this gem. How many of our sons and daughters will have to die -- while he stays, "outta harms way" -- before America decides it's past time to impeach the thief?

"Collateral damage" is not a pleasant thought! It can sometimes extend even beyond estimates -- like deliberately using shells containing uranium and then having our own military investigate the damage! Gulf War Syndrome is a fact, and no matter how much this country would like to deny or spin, we still have veterans that have suffered from our "mistakes." Collateral damage? Unavoidable risk? NO, it's downright criminal intent!

A contradiction in terms -- "Compassionate conservatism," "Benevolent hegemony." This is the Conservative approach -- hood wink the American public. Psychologically softening their attempts to dominate the American people is despicable. There is no compassion in the conservative philosophy. The proof: seniors who must choose medicine or food; hungry children; massive numbers of Americans who cannot afford health care; poverty rising; the ambition that puts American lives at risk under the guise of "protecting America"; the underlying move to bankrupt Social Security; average Americans losing their life savings in a corporate dominated government; and on and on! Benevolent hegemony is another oxymoron designed by those with illusions of ruling the masses. Hegemony, however draped, is the desire to control and dominate, the desire to exchange democracy for fascism. Are you willing to be the victims of this transparently veiled madness? If we are to make a comparison to Hitler, I'm afraid we can see the mimics right here at home!

I only hope that Florida voters realize that "no drilling off the Florida coast" was designed to get Jeb reelected. Once elected for his last term, drilling will not be a problem. In fact, it will be a necessity, because, after all, he will be out in four years and they will have to succeed while they can. This administration will do everything to make hay while their SON shines in Florida. If Jeb is reelected, Floridians will face ravaging like they've never seen before.

Someday, in the not-so-distant future, we will look back and realize that those who questioned the Bush strategy on Iraq were indeed the wise men of our time. We will see clearly that their skepticism and patience was the wiser path to follow. I wish to thank Senator Byrd, Congressmen McDermott, Bonior, Thompson, and Kucinich for their efforts on behalf of America, Democracy, and sanity.

The White House Press Secretary should be doing his best to assist mainstream media in reporting the view from the White House so that the American public is kept informed. It should not be his job to deliver inane comments that are, in effect, a non-answer designed to confuse the public. We are paying the salary of a pompous, egotistical, arrogant, pathetic pseudo-intellectual -- Prick, for short.

Many Americans will not tolerate "violent" movies, games, toy guns, or television for their children. We are all in tune to "violence begets violence." So why, would we tolerate the assault by this administration on the American public? Everywhere you look and everything you hear these days is designed to scare us all to death, including a well designed "package" promoted, not in August, but in September to garner support for the most violent confrontation ever imagined. We are not "buying" a product that can be returned if we don't like it! We are talking war for real, where real people really die!

While the American people have been inundated with Iraq and "terra," the Bush administration has been busy eliminating any corporate reform initiative. True to form, distract the public and scare them, so we can continue an agenda designed to bankrupt most Americans. 401ks are nearing what is commonly known as BUST. Forget retirement, this administration wants to get every last bit of sweat they can squeeze out of us!

When listening to mainstream media, the Repuglicans, and conservative pundits, I get the feeling they really believe we are as stupid as Dumbya. They seem to think that if they repeat something long enough, we will believe it is true. I know they've convinced Dumbya that he's a great leader, but they still have a long way to go with the convincing the American people. They forget, we are Americans not sycophants!

Did you get the feeling you were hearing a scary Halloween story while listening to Dumbya's big speech? It kind of reminded me of a scout troop listening to a leader trying to scare the bijezus out of them. Unfortunately this is not for fun -- this is real and real people will die horrible deaths because this leader is inexperienced, inept, and crazy! This country will go to WAR to satisfy an insatiable desire for power by a small group who wish to dominate the world, using other people's children to accomplish their goal.

The Repuglican Party wants a blank check to rule the masses. Professing love of democracy and the rights of the people is "window dressing" for the GOP. The ultimate goal is to impose the conservative edicts and imperialistic rule on the citizens of our country. Power and money are the values that drive these guys who believe the end justifies the means. Their eyes are on the prize and how they get there makes no difference. Americans must remind them we can still make choices, we are still a democracy, we still have a voice -- VOTE DEMOCRATIC in November and return this country to the people.

Paula Zahn the CNN cheerleader for the Bush family is doing her best to manipulate American public opinion that the Bushies can do no wrong! Remember, she's the "pulse of the nation" news analyst who flubbed the reports of three innocent medical students on their way to Florida. You know, the ones who stopped for breakfast in Georgia, and had their lives changed forever, thanks to the minute by minute conjecture and supposition reported by Ms. Zahn? Yeah, she's the one. CNN has become the Comedy News Network, with not so funny players delivering the commentary.

Dear Ms. Dee Turner, As another Atlantan -- Please don't lose heart, the right wing-nuts figure if they are nasty enough, for long enough, good people will become disheartened -- it's what they want. A country with just one voice! A government of the conservatives, by the conservatives, and for the conservatives. We can't let them be the voice of Democracy, because with these people in charge there is no Democracy. I have read and enjoyed your letters every time you send one to the mailbag. I have admired your insight and felt buoyed, when I was down, by what you had to say. Know in your heart, you are correct in your thinking, you are correct in wanting the best world possible. Know your efforts have not been in vain.

Jeb's remarks in Florida didn't surprise me. The Bush brothers are masters at hiding what they really think -- every once in a while the truth surfaces. Only when they think reporters aren't present or microphones aren't on do we see what's going on in the minds of these boys. This family believes they are better than all others, but wealth does not insure "class" -- these guys are the best of rude and crude! Crass behavior always surfaces, no matter how well calculated!

We all know that Dumbya is capable of unilaterally waging war! What we don't know if his capabilities are unilaterally limited. He has tunnel vision and can pursue only one thing at a time. So, what's to happen to America while Dumbya's busy in Iraq?? What's to happen in Afghanistan? What's to happen with Al Queda and the Taliban? What will happen with Osama bin Laden? We know domestically we are going down the tubes, we know that Afghanistan is struggling while we are busy planning to attack Iraq, we know Osama is still out there, and, while broken, Al Queda and the Taliban continue to exist. So friends and foes alike, what do you think will happen when Dumbya, with his Napoleonic attitude, attacks? You guessed it -- DISASTER!

CNN is attempting to dupe the public into believing Osama is dead! Without any evidence, they are presenting "news" designed to manipulate public opinion! Fair and Balanced, Honesty in News is blowing in the wind. American's can depend on mainstream media to be an extension of the White House Propaganda Machine. In the past we could be sure someone, somewhere would report to the public honestly. What we get now is a bunch of bull.

What do you want to bet we'll see no mention of the massive anti-war protests in mainstream media. They continue to tell us the majority of Americans support the Bush policy of war with Iraq. It's a bunch of bull, perpetrated by those right-wing promoters posing as reporters we see all over the air waves. The failure of mainstream media to report the news is despicable and should not be tolerated.
